Women's Asia Cup: SL vs THA

Lol, Phannita Maya 2 runs of 18 balls (a good blinder from Chamari though), and Laomi 4 runs of 16 balls, if it doesn't look significant, that's 6 runs in 5.4 overs. In t20I playing like this is recipe to lose, SL chased 94 run target effortlessly. I could be having high expectations from these new teams, but these were mine first reactions upon seeing the score.

On unrelated note, Thailand cloth color looks good, fitting could be better

The 12th match of Women's Asia Cup 2024 where the strong Sri Lanka Women's team and their weaker team Thailand Women's faced each other.This match was a low scoring match especially as Thailand women batting first scored only 93 runs which was a very low total runs.
The batsmen of the Sri Lanka women's team did not have much trouble collecting these few runs given to the women of Thailand. They batted very easily and comfortably even in the last stages winning the match by a huge margin of 10 wickets. Sri Lanka women needed only 11.3 overs to score the winning score while Thailand women took 20 overs to collect 93 runs.

If we look at the points table of this year's Asia Cup tournament, we can see that India and Pakistan from Group A and Bangladesh and Sri Lanka from Group B will qualify for the semi-finals.

A few years back, Thailand was being considered as one of the strongest associate teams in women's cricket. But lack of funding from the ICC has started to take it's toll. The quality of their cricket is declining and it is very much evident from their performance in this tournament. Still the situation is not entirely hopeless. ACC is providing funds to Thailand and they do arrange support in the form of training and travel. Many of their players are still in their 20s, so there is a lot of scope for improvement.

Yes Thailand -W team was one of weaker team in this Group B and other team Malaysia -W team was also very weak and both already disqualified from this series women Asia Cup. If we look at the table of Women Asia Cup series in group A, India and Pakistan both these teams qualified for semi final Game and in group B both Sri Lanka-W and Bangladesh-W team qualified for semi final game. In 1 st semi final game, both India-W team and Bangladesh-W played this game and I predict in game that India-W team will win game but Bangladesh-W effort was also very unique and brilliant. In 2 nd semi game, Pakistan-W vs Sri Lanka-W team and in this game, difficult to say that which team will this game and Pakistan-W always unpredictable so I choose Pakistan-W team because their team have good stamina and also perform good in past games that's why I choose this team to win this game. let's see what happen in semi final games and my prediction will be correct or not.

Indian team give their best in all games which was expected because now we have huge difference of quality between India and other Asian cricket teams, so things were not challenging for them, and they have all three wins by huge margin now most chances we will have won for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh which will complete semifinal lineup and India will face Bangladesh, and we will have good match between Sri Lanka vs Pakistan here I am favoring Sri Lanka which is better team for me.

Some days are left in the T20 match between Sri Lanka and the Indian men's team. It would be a great match. As we knew that how Muhammad Siraj won the Indian team in the final match of the Asia Cup 2023. A few wickets were taken by him as well. Hopefully, in this series, we will see those vibes once more time when the Muhammad Siraj will own to the Sri Lankan team and give some vibes back.
Also from the last IPL 2024, Muhammad Siraj has not performed as well and also in the World Cup he played not so well and was dropped in some matches, hopefully, it will be a comeback series for him.

Gull Feroza was the player of the match, she made 62 off 55 scores. Also in fielding she is too good as well as she picked up the two wickets.
Also with her Muneeba Ali played average as she made 37 off 30 balls.
I think it is too low type of performance, she have to play fast as she could because it is important for the team. However, the Pakistan team won this match by 10 wickets while 35 balls were remaining. I think after this victory the Pakistan team has gain the necessary confident to face India for the next time.

Indian Women is very hard working team and they have strength in all things and more Indian Women participate in tournaments and they are more groomed and more Indian Women are top of the World and they have capacity to play against any big team but I think that Indian Women is favorite for next match and Indian W team will win next match easily and Pakistani W team will lose the match badly.No doubt, Pakistani W team played well in last match and won the match by high margin . Pakistani cricket  has no top class performers, they only play against small teams and againt big teams they became silent.

Well both of team won thier matches successfully and thus both team has moved to the next stage of the tournament I mean semifinals and to be honest most of us expect same because both side Thailand and Malaysia are not familiar with cricket so Thier victory against experience side were almost impossible, Anyway now we have India vs Bangladesh and paksitan were sirilanka in semifinals so I am quite sure that indian side will easily beat Bangladesh because they are much better side but while In paksitan vs sirilankan things are a bit blurry because sirilankan are looking dominating side but we can't neglect paksitan and can't underestimate them so things can be diverted toward any side who handle pressure betterly so let see who will face indian team in final.
