Still not sure whether we will get a completed match today at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. It was still raining around 15 minutes back. It seems like there will be a delayed start (if it gets started at all). So far, Riyan Parag has been the find of this tournament. Although he hasn't performed well with the bat, he made up for that with the ball. In the first match he had figures of 1.2-0-5-3. And in the second match he was quite economical, although he failed to pick any wickets.

Ahh, I think today we would not see the match of Sri Lanka and India. As we know, at the last match the rain disturb the game too much so this time too, the weather is not good at Pallekele and there is full rainy weather so far.



I think as last time, we see some overs but this time, I think we would not see even a single ball. By the way, after some days the ODI series will start between both these teams in which Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will play but due to rainy season, i hope the ODIs also not get disturbed. We want the full action in these matches.

Yashsavi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, Samson are out of the three players, the Indian team is under a lot of pressure, in this case the Sri Lankan team can give them a suitable answer in this match today. As Sri Lankan team is very likely to perform well in today's match. Because they have performed well enough in terms of bowling, three wickets in the main batting phase.

 Maheesh Theekshana He picked up two wickets which is definitely his good performance in today's match.  In this way if India team keeps losing wickets then they will lose the third T20I match, Sri Lanka team is in good form in terms of bowling so far, Sri Lanka team will try hard to win this match today.

By the way, Shubman Gill is playing today and is still playing while wickets falling at the other end.
The Indian team is in trouble at the moment with 36 for 4 wickets down, a scoreline which you rarely see for the Indian team.

In the third T20 match, the Indian team is under a lot of pressure while batting in the first innings today against Sri Lanka. In today's match, the Sri Lankan team is doing amazing bowling due to which they have been able to put pressure on the Indian team very easily. In the beginning, the opening batsmen batted badly for the Indian team and still they are not able to sustain the batting well. Team India has collected 53 runs in 9 overs whereas in other matches they have made huge scores during this period and they are currently under pressure as they have lost five important wickets in today's match.

It is obvious that Sri Lanka is not such a strong team.  And it was against a strong Indian team.  Due to which he had to lose the match and also the series.  It was a very low target in the 50 over innings and this target was given to India which turned out to be very easy.  Sri Lanka could have won the match if they kept up their target and their pace but they failed in both.  And the pressure from India bowlers was so high that the Sri Lanka batsmen lost 9 wickets and gave an easy target of just 161.  This has made it easier for the India batsmen.  Because they had to win the match.  But this meant that they won the match before the target was reach and their batsmen did not have to work so hard and struggle.  Congratulations to India for this win and also for this series win.  The Indian team is a hard work and well performing team.  The pressure from their bowlers looks great.  And it gives less targets and their batsmen win matches easily.  They are improving their perform day by day.

I think today we will see the win for Sri Lanka team. The Sri Lankan bowlers are on fire as well. They have picked the five wickets under 12 overs. But there is just one problem left for Sri Lanka, the one and only Shubman Gill, but I am sure he will not play well because he is the needy of any good and experienced partner who will bat with him like Virat Kohli or we can say Surya Kumar or Hardik Pandya. But Hardik Pandya is not playing this match while Surya Kumar has been out.

Also I think the Indian team have to make at least 140 runs in order to give some hope to their bowlers. At his time, the odds for Sri Lanka are 1.65 and for the India team it is 2.30. What a turnaround in the odds with the changing match conditions

Now after 15 overs we are having 102 runs with the lost of 5 wickets hopefully we will have some good runs from these two players in last five overs Sri Lankan bowlers are trying their best for having some decent runs for their team to win consolation win before ODI series because this will be good booster for them after having poor batting in first two games.

Edit: As I am writing this we have big breakthrough for the Sri Lankan as both set batsmen out in one over by Hasaranga now after 17 overs we have 116 for 7.

SL smooth sailing the chase so far, hopefully their middle order batsmen are not in mood to collapse again like seen in prior 2 matches otherwise all India needs is couple wickets.

On India's batting performance, players should stick to their normal positions where they have record of playing good, I don't get why Rinku came before Surya and Parag.

Some of the methods in cricket really need to be fixed. the DLS method is definitely one of them. This becomes so much easier a team has to chase a small total like that instead of the actual total. I understand that there are a lot of variables taken in ACCOUNT. But even if people think that this method is actually good, there are steady changes that need to be made even in this method. Having this method still in 2024 is almost a crime. There is literally an AI revolution going on and in cricket they are still using the rule from a century ago. So of course this became very easy for India. And they have also been able to win easily in the end.

I don't think there is anything better available than DLS, so we stick with what's available, despite it's imperfections, now tbh I don't know it's imperfections but one thing I know for sure is it can't replicate the usual full overs play.

What changes you want to produce in betterment of DLS and you mention AI, what exactly do you mean by that?

My view that is not possible to  estimate the correct score. That is cricket and partnership can be happen between players at any time and also any player can be out at any time. DLS me is not best for my country because I didn't understand this and it can't predict the score and it's accuracy is not appreciable. I think there should be one more day for the match if match goes to DLS method and match should be end and any team should not give the points on DLS bases.I don't know who discovered that method but that is worst method and nobody understood the calculation of that.I think they will be change in DLS method in future or any Mathematician will discover another method of calculation of win and lose. We don't know the future and we hope for best future.

No doubt, this match will easily be won by the Sri Lanka team. The Indian team gave a good target as well, according to their condition, they gave the good target. Else, at the start, I though they may even would not touch to the 100 but Riyan Parag and Shubman Gil made partnership in which there Shuman Gill has not done the most work in the partnership, he was playing like One day.
However, on the other side, Riyan Parag played very good but when he was out then the Indian team understood they are not able to make much runs as well. Let’s see what will they do. The main player for the India team was Riyan Parag.

The match is very tense now as Sri Lanka needs 21 runs in 21 balls. India can still win this and also they got two wickets of Wanindu Hasaranga and Charith Asalanka right now making things a bit tricky for Sri Lanka now.

When you need 9 runs off 12 balls, you can't fumble against Part timers and I am also not sure if Rinku/SKY can be considered part timers because it was the first time they rolled their arms in any T20I.
