Well.. it is a three match series, and then Scots still have two matches remaining. And given their track record, I won't be extremely surprised if they win at least one of these matches.

It isn't going to happen for sure. And I will consider it as extremely surprising if Scotland somehow managed to win any match against Australia. Either Jake Fraser-McGurk or Travis Head is enough to destroy the opponent team bowling attack. Both of them were magnificent in the last IPL season. The Scotland captain tried six bowlers against the Australian team but they all proved too much expensive. Travis Head was taking every bowler aggressively and they looked like club bowlers in front of him. Mark Watt got two wickets while Brandon McMullen was able to get a single wicket. The rest of the bowlers were wicketless and all of them had an economy rate of over 15 runs. Jack Jarvis was the most expensive bowler as he gave away 45 runs in only 1.4 overs.

I was wondering what Scotland can learn from this match and do better in the next match. I guess they can't do much except to get experience playing against the world's best team.

Exactly I have the same expression just like you. I made a post first and I said that this series a one sided series and there is no comparison between Australia and Scotland because Australia is a top tier team.
And we have seen their performance before and also in the yesterday match. They played very well. As you mentioned Scotland made 154 runs. And according to the opponent team that was not a good target and Australia chased that target easily. Means they chased that target in 9.4 overs. Which is showing that they played very fastly with the run rat of 16.13.

Even if the Scotland team played with their full potential, i don't think they will be able to take on Australian team. Since the next two matches between Australian and Scotland will be an obvious win for the Aussies, i think we would not get any good odds for betting on Australia. OfCourse, betting on Scotland is like a suicide (even though you will bet 10 odds)  and no one will be taking that risk.

There are people who like to bet on low odds like 1.01 and here you will get 1.04 for almost a sure shot win. Still i would not recommend to go all in on this low bet even the risk of losing here is almost none.

No respect or care for opposition morale, the ground is a joke because it's small but still scary hitting with pure cricket shots. That's how you treat an associate and i am sure one day we'll witness 300 runs on the scoreboard.

Unable to find video (do link if you have) but reading on Twitter that this Mark Watt's statement [1] gave spark for the fire. If it's true, I like the competitive spirit behind statement despite knowing their chances, and Watt himself did good in bowling too.

But, like to think, result would have been same even if there were no triggers involved.

We cannot believe how terrible Australia can put up a batting performance without seeing yesterday's match. Australia cricket team won easily against Scotland by setting a world record in power play. Australia cricket team scored 113 runs on the scoreboard in the first six overs i.e. power play. Earlier at Centurion we watched to a match between West Indies and South Africa in which South Africa scored 102 runs in the first six overs. Before Australia's 113 in 6 overs, South Africa's 102 in 6 overs was a unique record. Australia were under pressure early on, but then Head and Mitchell Marsh came to grips with the situation and showed their batting skills brilliantly. For Australia, these two batsmen put together an incredible partnership of 113 runs off just 34 balls.

Australia cricket team's current performance against the hosts Scotland looks like they will beat them in the next two T20 matches. We might see Australia whitewash Scotland to claim a 3-0 series win.

In the post-match ceremony, I didn't hear such a response from Head. I love banter, off or on the field but I'd also add that you are playing against Associate Nation so domination on the field is expected but looking down on the opponent is a no go zone. There is a fine line between being funny and arrogant when your opponent is weaker than you in every department.

Right I also predicted same Australia squad easily emerged victory in this match against Scotland squad with no hard working and not displaying their full strength. Newly T20 format competition has begun yesterday among Scotland sqaud against Australia squad and first match was also ayed yesterday and finished with one side match. Their is not competition between these squad Scotland squad and Australia squad. Scotland squad  displayed some good performance in their first inning batting and managed 154 scores off 20 overs with lost of 9 wickets. Sean Abbott picked up 3 batters of Scotland squad included George Munsey, this was the starter batter of Scotland who displaying good performance but his wicket fell down after managing 28 scores. Total scores of Scotland squad was very low quality when against squad is very strong like Australia. In this match I expected Scotland to win but I also knew that they were up against Australia so I didn't write a win for them.  Scotland did not perform well as Australia's performance was double theirs.  Scotland's batsmen scored 154 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.  Their batsmen have to give so many targets in every match.  They should have seen how strong Australia is.  And even their bowler could not perform enough to stop the runs.  Australia's batsmen scored 155 runs in 10 overs to win the match.  Scotland still have more matches to play and I still expect them to win one match if not the series.  Because Scotland is not such a weak team that they don't win the match.  Therefore, Scotland must work hard to accelerate their pace so that they beat Australia in the match.  Congratulations to Australia on the win.

Few days ago Maharaja T20 Trophy series was ended and last game was played between Warriors team and Blasters team. In this game, Blasters made a bad decision when they won toss and they chose field first because Warriors team set very competitive target and gave 207 runs to Blasters team for chasing and this was big runs runs game. Karthik helped a lot in start of game and he made 71 runs in 44 balls and hitted seven 4s and three 6s. At end of game he got a player of game award because of his brilliant effort. Nair and Manoj also played very well and made good runs for team and set big runs target to Blasters. Blasters Batsman played this game under pressure of big target and they did not chased down all runs and lost the game by 45 runs. Patil bowlers showed great effort in bowling and he took down 3 wickets in 4 overs with 19 runs. Congratulations Warriors team to win this game and trophy.

Travis Head was the main player in the game who led to Australia through the win otherwise the match could be closer. He was hitting sixes and fours. Once again he tried for six and smashed his bat through the ball, that was a ball that kept going for a six but the fielder was there who took some steps further and picked a great catch. If Travis Head is out like this in the 4th over or before then Scotland could have come closer. However, in the next match, Travis Head will try to bat in a similar way and complete his century and once again he will treat Scotland bowlers badly.
