Several of the qualification pathways for the T20 Cricket World Cup of 2026 are underway. The latest one to get completed is 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific Sub-regional Qualifier B. There were 4 participants, and out of them Japan qualified for the next round (2025 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia–East Asia-Pacific Regional Final). A total of 78 teams (which will be a new record) are participating in various regional qualifiers (except Americas, where the details are not known yet).

For the love of God, it looks like Australia might end up winning the T20 World Cup yet again. They absolutely decimated the Kiwis despite the total being chaseable thanks to Kerr's brilliant efforts with the bat and ball.

Schutt was insane since she took 3 wickets and gave away just 3 freaking runs in almost 4 overs. This is probably a record. Only England looks like they have a shot against the Australians at this stage.

I agree with you. I considered Australia women's team and India women's team to be the strongest. However, India women's team performed very poorly against New Zealand women's team in their first match. India women's team lost against New Zealand by a huge margin of 58 runs.

I expected a better performance from New Zealand today. It was this team that played brilliantly against India. But today the batsmen of New Zealand cannot collect even 100 runs. New Zealand women's team lost all the wickets to collect only 88 runs.

Bangladesh seems helpless against India. They were whitewashed on the test series and I don't see them winning any T20 either.
Bangladesh batting first started slow and kept losing wickets. None of the players could score over 15 except for Najmul Hossain Santo and Mehedi Hasan Miraz. India's Arshadeep Singh was particularly good with the bowl.
India chasing a low target of 128 started quick. Even though they lost three wickets, every of player scored over 15 and they were playing aggressive. The target was too low for Bangladesh to try defend.

The 1st match between India and Bangladesh was played at  Sharimant Madhavrao cricket stadium. India won the toss and elected to batting first. India is a very strong team. India playing amazing with 132 runs chased and won the match. Bangladesh is poor playing with set 127 runs record and lost the match. India won by 7 wickets and 49 balls. They played all matches very well and the men also played this match which was India  men they gave a very good team performance and it is hoped that they will continue to play well in the future. Their hard work determination truly paid off in this match. I hope Bangladesh they will play better in the future matches. The best batting performance in the India man team was by Hardik pandaya scored 39 runs 16 balls hitting 5 fours and 2 sixs. Congratulations to India for their upcoming matches.

Yesterday T20 series was started btw India team and Bangladesh team and they  both played Test series in past and in this series, Bangladesh team played quite poorly and both games they lost. I have some hope to Bangladesh team to perform well in T20 series but they failed and India team beated Bangladesh team quite poorly again. Bangladesh team set 127 runs target in 20 overs by losing all wickets. Miraz played good but in last some overs and he grabbed 35 runs in 32 balls and hitted three 4s. But this runs of Bangladesh team not enough to win game and India chased down all runs and won the game. Pandya played brilliant and he made 37 runs and hit brilliant shot on back side I really liked it. Congratulations India to win this easy game.

If Bangladesh does not change the style of play then Bangladesh will never be able to win at least in T20 against big teams. Bangladesh has been playing cricket for so long but they may not know that the ball cannot be dot in T20. A player on whose wicket he aims to hit only boundaries will not take single or double runs. But if it is thought that out of six balls of an over I will take three singles, take a double and try to hit a boundary in the remaining two balls, but the score goes to a very healthy position. But the Bangladeshi batsmen wait for the loose ball to come for them and hit the boundary with that ball. Bangladesh's T20 situation is so bad after playing on this target. Besides the players, the coaching staff of the Bangladesh team should also explain this to the players.

Bangladesh team is able to play a bit better in ODI format. But this team is still performing very badly in T20 and Test format. If you want to do well in the T20 format, you must play at a smart strike rate. But the batting of Bangladeshi batsmen is very slow. There is no doubt that India Women's team is very strong. I consider England, India and Australia to be the strongest teams in women's cricket. But India played very badly in the first match. Yes you are right Australian women team has almost guaranteed their spot in semifinals after beating New Zealand convincingly. With two wins in row they are now at top of points table. To make it to semifinals they only need to win one more match. By the way in their group Pakistan New Zealand and India need to win two more matches in their remaining matches. Just like you I also think India has good chance of joining Australia in semifinals but other teams could still cause surprises. Australia impressive win scoring 148 runs and limiting New Zealand to less than 100 runs shows New Zealand batting weaknesses and Australia strong bowling.

We as supporters of Bangladesh never think that Bangladesh can beat India in T20 match at Indian venue. Bangladesh don't have players to bat in t20 mood so beating a strong team like India with a target of 120 to 130 runs seems like a fairy tale. Let Bangladesh continue to practice batting in T20 mood first and then dream of beating India. It goes without saying that India will defeat the same margin in the first match as India defeated them by a huge margin. There is no regret in defeat but there is no sign that Bangladesh will learn something from victory or defeat in the Bangladeshi players. Actually it is not possible for Bangladesh to beat India at the moment because Bangladesh can mainly use their experience in Mirpur Stadium but Bangladesh's performance abroad is not worth mentioning at all except home venue. In the last game, Hardik Pandya did very good batting and played unbelievable shots all around the wickets. Even the edges that he hit, went for boundaries and he played a not out 39 runs.
