Figure, Ravi is getting senile, Gill said he is gonna bowl first and after a while he asks same, I have seen Ravi doing same before too. As for changes, one change in both the teams — from GT's side, glad to see Arshad out (finally!), not sure about Kulwant as player but good to see change nonetheless; for RCB, don't like Shepherd out for Duffy (they did same in some earlier game, and didn't like this change then either).

Huge final round of tournament with playoffs stage is exciting. Both teams were totally matched with eighteen points apiece in league phase, and this gave them unbelievably even match. It is very important stage, and clash between strong batting line up with international superstars and very disciplined, team bowler that meets pressure well. I think it will be management of cold evenings and early swing in this special place that will be final winner in night. Although historic reputations build retail frenzy around singular batting stars, powerplay types of execution have been known to win playoff game. Group who succeeds in taking early wickets within initial six overs will easily put opponent into difficult situation and have way of reminding opponent how to follow through to end of knockout game.

Gujarat Titans needs to work with something plan, already they did magical performance so far in the tournament and when they qualified with the second position in the point table, of course they have eager to play in the same way here but if we look at their journey so far, in the early stages of the tournaments, they were playing average even lost back to back two games and later on they struggled to have the momentum but at the end they understood the game and dominated each and every team.

Another shit controversy hit the IPL. Travis Head and Kohli seemed to have sort of issue in their recent match where SRH crushed RCB and I wasn't even aware of this until Head's wife posted about cricket trolls(Mainly RCB idiotas) targetting their family.
The issue started during the match when Virat Kohli started the animated celebration after Travis Head was dismissed. This sparked a back and forth that continued until Virat Kohli himself was dismissed. After the match, Virat Kohli refused the shake hands, which was childish.

India keeps getting a bad name because of these sort of neanderthals. This just made the whole SRH-RCB rivalry more intense. Immature Kohli and some of his braindead fans...smh!
It is certainly a case of brain dead behavior or targeted paid campaign. Travis Scott the rapper, got targeted first just because he had a similar first name. The level of common sense is amazing!!! Grin

This is one of the most golden chances that Royal Challengers Bengaluru have to make their place into the final because they played solid in the previous games, whereas Gujarat Titans were struggling a lot, yeah both of them had the same points in the group stages and got the first two positions but still Royal Challengers Bengaluru has confidence to beat them. I think Royal Challengers Bengaluru should not underestimate Gujarat Titans in a way that they are such a bad team and play with that kind of mindset, you will surely win the game.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have already lost one of their star batsmen (Venkatesh Iyer). The good thing is that they still have a lot of firepower down the order, and as long as Virat Kohli is out there, the morale would be high. Kohli is not doing the heavy lifting, at least during the initial powerplay. Venkatesh was the one responsible for that until he got out, and after that it was the turn of Devdutt Padikkal. That is expected, as Kohli is more of a slow starter. They have Rajat Patidar to come next. And I would like to see Tim David at no.5 position (rather than Krunal Pandya).

It's brain dead behaviour, because people here in India put people on pedestal which is just retarded. Some behaviour you see is also deliberate to just get attention (trolls love attention).

Tim David is good finisher, and not a good batter when plenty overs left, so in today's context, Krunal has come at a proper position.

Man, Jason holder literally changed fate of GT since he was included in playing XI, didn't he? Today too, 2 quick wickets, and RCB scoring rate dwindled down, and now GT seems to have made come back into the game.

India Women tour of England 2026

Indian women are on a tour of England for the T20i matches, and a single test game. In women's cricket, we have very few test matches compared to men's cricket and even though those test matches carry almost none of the records. However, in this series, we have a single Only test game. India has announced their squad already, whereas England women's selectors are still thinking about what to do to beat India women. I think the series is not so difficult or challenging for England women, they have quality players also India have good players too but let' see who perform better on the ground.

Jason Holder, the man with the golden arm, did a good job, having 2 wickets in one over, but the 15th over from Khejroliya brought RCB back into the game. Great batting from Krunal he is on fire. Things are now favorable for RCB because of an 82-run partnership on just 43 balls, making it possible to have a good target on board.

Rashid Khan is also not able to stop them from hitting all around. Another good over for RCB gives them 21 runs. The last two overs give 49 runs. Amazing stuff to watch right now in this first qualifier at Dharamshala.
4 overs remaining, and from here 50 more runs are going to be good for RCB. Can Gujarat Titans stop them from having these runs? It's going to be interesting.

Dropping Patidar at 20 turned out costly af. GT didn't look confident on ground to begin with and my guy, Jos he just looks out of place as if he doesn't want to be there, I don't have any hope for GT to chase this tbh. Would have loved to see Patidar be selfish and complete his century but muh team.

Edit: GT dusted, with top 3 back in camp. On note, this was most emotions I have seen Hazlewood show (on Buttler's wicket).

Edit 2: Correction from, 'looks dusted' to 'dusted'.

Yes the turning point in this inning came when rajat patidar was dropped on 20 in 13th over and then he punish the GT bowlers and smash an unbeaten 93 off 33 balls while Virat kohli 43, padikkal 30, pandya 43 and have set a big target of 254 runs . I think RCB need some wickets in the start and they will easily win the match so let’s see what happen

Royal Challengers Bengaluru with an almost incredible and extraordinary performance in the Qualifier 1 through batting and now bowling too good. Even they reached to 200 runs at the end of 16th over or maybe that was the start of 17th over. Well at the same time it's a normal day in IPL because the pitches are so flat and to be honest it is not a big deal to score these kind of runs or hitting boundaries with such advantages like flat pitches and etc.

Figure, Ravi is getting senile, Gill said he is gonna bowl first and after a while he asks same, I have seen Ravi doing same before too.

But you are a bit too strict about it. Ravi Shastri sometime repeat same thing in commentary box. And some people can not catch the real flow of the match, this is true

But I think this is just an old habit of commentators. It is not that they are old and have lost their mind. Many experienced one do such stupid thing in commentary

And this is nothing new in Twenty20 match. It is very normal for a captain like Gill to decide to bowl first and then he might change his decision after toss. Captain often change their mind after seeing pitch condition and opposing team's XI

The teams that are at the top two positions on the points table are having a very interesting match today and the performance shown by Royal Challenger Bangalore today was incredible. Royal Challenger Bangalore scored 254 runs in 20 overs in which Rajat Patidar played a long innings of 93 runs off 33 balls and hit 9 sixes and 5 fours and Virat Kohli supported him and made a partnership of 43 runs. Royal Challenger Bangalore's fast-rising score could not be stopped by Gujrat Titans' bowlers. Now Gujrat Titans is playing the second innings and is chasing Royal Challenger Bangalore's target brilliantly. Gujrat Titans has scored 33 runs in 4 overs and unfortunately, two of their wickets have fallen due to which Royal Challenger Bangalore has a high chance of winning.

What?

Ladies and Gentleman, this is worth of GT. Same shitshow as we have seen before where top 3 gone and rest looks completely hopeless, fwiw even Gill had his shoulders down while coming to bat. And not even sure of Washy-Tewatia's tuk-tuk, just swing the bat, how card can that be? At least go down with a fight.

I hope GT losses to whoever it's in q2. This pathetic team doesn't deserve to be in finals.

While the drop of Patidar on 20 sends me back into the 1999 ODI World Cup when Herschelle Gibbs dropped the catch of Steve Waugh, and this was also the drop of the World Cup from the hands of South Africa. The same shit happened to the Gujarat Titans. This is not only a drop of the catch but they also dropped the title. Patidar played a masterclass and led his team from the front in this important game.

In chase of 255, things have never been on target from the start.

Now RCB are in the final. This big win gives them good motivation for having a good performance in the final and also defending their title.

Didn't watch Q1 and just saw the results. Holy moly! I did not expect GT to get obliterated like that especially considering their great bowling attack. Patidar played a captain's knock and got back in form out of nowhere along with Jitesh too surprisingly.

Back to back finals for RCB. If SRH makes their way to the final, RCB will probably shit their pants thinking of 2016. Boring one sided Q1 basically.

Edit: Just learnt about Patidar getting dropped twice in his 20s.Village level fielding right there.

Defending champions entered the final in style, they could not have had a better Q1 match than today. Dominated throughout the entire game and won the game by a huge margin of 92 runs.

POTM - Patidar as expected.

And Tewatia scored his second IPL 50 after playing 100 matches? Roll Eyes

They still have one more chance though, but I deffo don't think they have marbles to win the title.

Yep, they parade about their great bowling attack but if you leak that many runs, you wonder whether that's actually the case.

To my knowledge, I haven't seen Patidar being out of form ever (this doesn't discount him getting out early), and if you are referring to his tuk-tuk in last game, it was deliberate.

SRH should, since they are stronger than RR. As for today, I knew it would be boring, it's GT afterall.

I heard commentators say, this is his highest score as well.

Royal Challengers set out mammoth target of 254 runs. Rajat Patidar played brilliant knock of 93 runs , continuously creating pressure with the bat . Gujrat Titans were failed to dismissed this crucial wicket.  Virat Kohli close to the half century but day was not good for him. Overall team Royal Challengers is highly compititive team, Gujrat Titans response was shaky, their top to tail order response was not up to the standard. Tewatia was the only player who played the defending innings and saved his team from embarrassing total. Gujrat Titans used their all players but their effort were went in vain. Team lost the game by 92 runs. Royal Challengers celebrated their well deserved triumph moments today.

That is pure magic, a totally amazing and outstanding score. Royal Challengers Bengaluru were batting first, and they even scored to up to 250+ runs in the loss of just five wickets, the way middle order played and the start by the top order as well as openers inculcating Virat Kohli, every player did their best and this leads the big game to be one sided for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
