RR is lifting that trophy if he continues this frenzy for the remaining matches. Also, sad to see my top favorite(SRH) getting knocked, but they played well for most of this season and should have gone further.

Rahul Tewatia is someone who drastically changes the match result, turning on its head, and he has done that multiple times. Why would anyone dub him a fraud?

Personally, I'd deffo call Maxwell a fraud or should I say biggest fraud in history of IPL. There should be list of 'frauds of IPL' tbh  

You need to remember that Glenn Maxwell has played some incredible match winning innings, 2014 was his best year in the IPL, it is true that he has not lived up to his talent but throwing away words like fraud in a nonchalant way is not the way I see it.

I am not kidding as I have seen him taking the match away single handedly and I remember it clearly because I have actually lost bets due to his performance. Maybe the casual fans just have a short term memory because they are consuming too much cricket and only remember one specific innings.

Here is a list of his performance where he won matches single handedly to refresh your memory :

I am deliberately not adding the famous match where he hit 5 sixes in a single over to win the match over, since everyone remembers that innings.

The moral of the story is that, if a mob of people say something, that does not necessarily align with the facts.

So sad SRH team lost in Eliminator game today and got knocked out of ipl series 2026. Today RR vs SRH game was played at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium. First, SRH team won toss and they selected field first and gave bowling opportunity to RR team. RR batsmen made big target 243 rune in 20 overs by losing 8 wickets and it was bug target but we see SRH make even bigger target than this. But today they failed to chase big target and lost important game. Vaibhav batsmen of RR helped a lot team to win this game and he scored 97 runs in 29 balls and hitted five 4s and twelve 6s. Dhruv also batted well with Vaibhav batsmen and made brilliant half century 50 runs in 21 balls and hitted five 4s and three 6s. SRH team chased down only 47 runs and lost game by 47 runs. Congratulations RR team to win this game and qualified for next game.

What's wrong with choosing to bowl first? Could be just preference to chase!? Who can predict how batters gonna perform whether one decides to bat or bowl first? (do tell me if there is way?).

Choosing to bowl first, when you have a stellar batting lineup (Travishek, Klassen, Ishan Kishan.etc) is a bad idea. And who are their bowlers apart from Pat Cummins? Eshan Malinga, Sakib Hussain, Praful Hinge and Shivang Kumar. The Sunrisers Hyderabad captain thought that these guys would restrict Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. I still believe that Hyderabad had a better chance, if they had opted to bat first. One thing that is common for both the teams is that their bowling is quite weak. Hyderabad has Cummins, while Rajasthan has Archer. Apart from that their bowling is quite ordinary.

I am considering the due factor, but what about dropping catches that are so easy to take? It shows these guys, since getting paid so well, are taking the IPL for granted. Look at Rishab Panth, he has been the worst captain and batter, according to me, in this season. Arshdeep Singh, busy with his own blogging, forgot that his primary objective was to bowl. The BCCI should take stern action against these useless, good-for-nothing individuals who are destroying the franchise funds and in the same time destroying the reputation of IPL.

BCCI and IPL management can't take performance based action on players, that's a job of market and franchise. Just dumb them in next auction or don't inflate their price in auction.

Agreed on taking action when there are some deciplinery issues. No one would blame the stakeholders if they follow the procedure.

His role is defined just to play big shots and help the team with his power-hitting skills. It is not his first time to miss the century due to a lack of three runs; he got out multiple times in his 90s or 80s, but who cares? His mindset is different, whereas other batsmen often get slow when they reach closer to their 100.

What a game it was. This is truly magic and nothing else, how is this possible? Rajasthan Royals batting first and they scored 180 runs in just 13 overs, that time their run rate was almost 14, and at the same time, their expected runs or expected forecast was of 265 runs. This was all possible just because of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, his innings were magical, and the way he provided the start to the team was amazing and it was due to this innings they were able to win this match.

Even greatest captains may find it hard to take wickets or stem flow of runs with flat pitch or when the bowling lines are not precise. A lot of credit is due to Rajasthan Royals top order batters who reshaped the game. When your opening batsmen will deliver without fear of any kind, deliver quick scores, it will relieve all tension off the team. This aggressive attitude totally shattered the confidence of bowling side so that it became extremely easy to control Rajasthan and make it easily possible to win the game.

But it is little possibility also that, when there is long break, then there can be situation that the team can get rusty but on other hand, winning team of the second qualifier will go into championship match with great hot momentum. It will all be whether rest beats will be match ready when occasion has come.
