RCB directly qualified for the final because they won the first match and they need to focus on their goal and if they will be egoistic they can lose the final . Patidar has excellent record and he will handle the pressure situation because he is playing back to back final .  RCB cricket team is very strong but that doesn't matter which team is strong or not because luck matters a lot in the final and team will win which had good luck . If one team made a target on board then they could win the match by giving all effort in this game.

It was a disappointing performance by RR and their management. Ravindra Jadeja retired hurt and clearly struggled even after returning to the crease. While, the management kept delaying Donovan Ferreira, sending him at number 8 and he was instrumental in helping them reach a 200 plus total.

I am ok with what they did with Ferreira, Ferreira does do good finishing knocks but if he's sent early, he does shitall. He should always be coming after 15 overs.

Pathetic! GT already looks dusted (as expected rather), don't think they are going to put up any good total the way things are looking and RCB has got mammoth batting line up, should be a cake walk for 'em. They had literally whole season to do something about their middle order, but they kept relying on top 3, and here is the result.

Kohli is too big on the star value so no matter who is deciding the strategies, they are just gonna assume that Kohli is involved in it but we knew the big change happened when Dinesh Karthik took chance with Bhuvi and then bagged Josh Hazlewood by trusting with their pace bowling irrespective of the venue and they delivered it.

Yes, there is no way RCB can lose from here. They just need more 65 runs in 66 balls with six wickets in hand. This is pretty much easy with Virat Kohli playing at 44. But if Gujarat Titans can take his wicket now, it will add a twist in the game and suddenly GT might feel that they have a chance. But then Tim David and the players to come don't have to play shots, they just need to bat the 20 overs, and they will surely win, as the target is only runs per ball.

The final of the IPL will be played tomorrow. Just think from a different point of view, RCB is just one step away from winning the IPL title once again. They are about to get the winning streak. In the first 18 years, when the team was known for just their bad luck and hard luck, they never won a tournament after having a good team and amazing players, they still struggle, so now this time is about to win back-to-back tournaments. Their wait is really worth it and let's see who will get the trophy. Another season of IPL is about to come to an end.

I didn't consider Patidar to be a good captain either when he was announced but lo and behold RCB now has 2 trophies under his captainship. I don't understand what kind of gymnastics he does but results are there for everybody to see.

They paid the cost of just relying on three batters for the entire tournament, somehow they manage to do that with strategy but still their middle order is very bleak and couldn't win any match of their top order fails. They might have to do the same for one more year because next year we will have the mini auction only where players are scarce though.

I stopped watching the game after the first innings because RCB is too big of a team to mess that total with their current form and as expected it went as a complete onesided game, not the final we all waited but RCB fans will take it anyway.

If we go back and look at the previous history in 2016, when RCB were in the prime mode, they had all the best players, and even those players were also in their best form at that time. A captain alone cannot work any magic without having a balanced team, especially in T20 cricket, unless you are MSD. In the past RCB were looking to include name value players. They completely changed their strategy by revamping the coaching staff, improving team selection especially during auction, and inclusion of a solid bowling line up to compliment their batting changed their fortunes.

Cricket means excitement but the target that Gujarat gave RCB yesterday was by no means a target to win the trophy in the final. Gujarat's style of play in other matches was not observed in the final match. The failure of some of Gujarat's top batsmen meant that Gujarat would be defeated and that is what happened. The dismissal of these three players, Sai Sudarshan, Gill, jos Butler, from Gujarat meant breaking Gujarat's backbone and Royal Challengers Bangalore was able to do that. But Royal Challengers Bengaluru proved them wrong, the game is all about mindset and aggressiveness and the pitch doesn't matter. Even though the match was in Ahmedabad, which is famous for having the biggest Stadium in the world and it is one of the flattest pitch stadiums, RCB still bowled excellently.
