Zimbabwe and South Africa delivered the best performances throughout the series but South Africa emerged winning in the final by defeating Zimbabwe by 48 runs. We used to play random series with srilanka and now it's afghanistan. If not worng this is 2nd bilateral this year along with one off test match.

I get it, they're setting up an example as afghanistan don't get to tour sena at all but this short of random bilateral every other month won't help anyone. Few indian players need some breathing room as well especially the one just played the duleep trophy.

Would have been better if it was trilateral series.

IND squad made brilliant start to competition with amazing performance and this performance will also give them confidence for their next matches. Arshdeep Singh bowler played very important role in this victory by picking up 3 crucial wickets. A top tier team can easily chase a target of 200 it's not a big deal for them. The Indian team can chase up to a target of 210 easily in the T20 format, where the players perform aggressively. In this situation, the Afghan team can't go higher than that because the bowlers of the Indian team can't let them go that far. But let's say they do then the Indian team gets the benefits of the power play and can easily reach the target. The Afghan team does not have that much capacity firstly, to beat the Indian bowlers and cross the double century.

This is the first T20 match of the Afghanistan Tour of India and this first match is very important for both the teams because this match will have a lot of impact in the next matches because after winning the first match, the mind gets relaxed for the next match and in this match, the Afghanistan team set a target of 156 runs by batting first in which they had a very bad start but two players in the middle helped a lot in achieving the target in which Azmatullah Omarzai scored 63 runs and he also got 21 extra runs and one thing is that the target they brought 20 overs late was completed by the opposing team India in 13 overs and four balls and won this match. It is because they took Nithish Kumar Reddy as direct replacement for Kungfu Pandaya, but no we can't go with the same combination if we are not playing Hardik there needs to make a comprimise with a batting slot to fit in a proper full time seamer rather than who can just bowl at 130Ks at maximum. Until we find a proper all rounder then right combination should be 7 batters and 2 all rounders and 3 seamers.

Sanju Samson is very mature for T20s. We have seen him perform well in several T20 matches and honestly I think he has enough potential to perform well. Yes, he may not be able to give his best performance to the team in the last few matches but I don't think his performance has put the team in danger. On the other hand, Abhishek Sharma is batting brilliantly. He has been giving some great innings with 200+ runs in almost every match which is easily taking the match from the opposition's hands to India. And if we talk about changing the players in the team, I don't think he will be needed in the next match. This team is well balanced and is enough to perform well against Afghanistan.
