It failed because rickbig41 changed his name to Mr. Big, and because the Trust list shows usernames instead of userIDs, he ended up on my list twice. It should be fixed in the next update.

OMG, I gave this user a good deal of merit for their work in Scam accusations. I wonder what he did. I also gave tvplus006 quite a few merit, too. He's banned as well. Looks like I have gone up in the ranks of people who give merits to banned users. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats=topsendban Poor chimk is now on top of the list and suchmoon is a distant second.  

Edit: Now that I am caught up reading all of the threads in Meta, it appears that someone is on a sting operation to report plagiarized posts. I suppose that overall, this is a good thing. However, I suspect Theymos is going to be busy overturning some of these bans and issuing signature bans.

They were good posters, so the Merit is probably well spent. This makes it a bit of a loss for the forum to ban them.

Last week I was still in the Top 50 for meriting banned users, I'm off the hook now.

Especially when the plagiarism happened when the user was quite new.
On most other online forums plagiarism isn't much of a problem, so I get that many new users don't realize how bad it is.

I didn't update my Merit data last Friday, because it takes a long time, and I have to update it again after Saturday's Trust data dump (so that it links to the latest week). Instead, I did the Trust update before the Merit update.
This "shortcut" meant last week's Merit scores were used. I don't like it, because I want to keep this data as a long-term overview of changes.
But: I can't just re-run the data, as that would change the URL (which has time and date in it) and break other links, so I'll hard-code yesterday's date and time and run the data again. I don't really like doing this (it feels like editing data, even though it's just from yesterday), but the rest of the data shouldn't be affected so it should be okay.

I'll post here when it's done. Done!

Like me removing you ? lol. I went back to default trust, and I hate how it shows I “removed” people from my trust list, like I distrust them or something. I wish it’d say “user selected DT” or something like that. Regardless LoyceV does do a great job here and throughout the forum, period. Would love to see them become a Moderator.

I'm always glad when I'm not the only one who was removed, that makes it feel less personal
Highlighting weekly changes is mainly useful for small changes in a long list: you were between #56 and #57 on Hhampuz' list when you removed him wiped your list. On your own list it's pretty obvious you wiped it completely

Your Trust list can't be empty, so you can't just remove DefaultTrust, but you could exclude it. Or you can replace it with OldScammerTag, that account doesn't show up in the Trust data dumps.

The most interesting thing I've seen was someone make a quick 180 on me, one week I was there the next not so much. Doesn't really bother me. I do hope no one really takes it personal when I do start trimming the list, no one really minded the exclusions so far.
