They took many many much smaller bets.  When you add up the total of all of these bets, and then subtract the house edge, you will be left with the total amount paid to players - EOS is claiming that number is almost $500m for them.  This is really not complicated.

That's the problem with definition of words. If they mean that they literally allowed people to withdraw 500 million total so far than game-protect is right, and I am 100% sure they haven't allowed people to withdraw 500 million dollars, they just meant that all the winning bets so far totals at 500 million dollars which is doable considering people have been wagering with high amounts but big chance to win in order to basically lose less frequently and have a high bet token mining operation.

Now, is game-protect wrong to think that there is 34 billion calculation along the math? Yes, but is it his fault? No.
Because, eosbet is wrong to write "won" because that is not how winning works, so with a wrong word usage there was a miscalculation and not properly understanding what they meant.

3 months? I wish they would buy for a year , but i can't complain. Also i think it would make more sense to put it back in uncirculated "mineable" tokens.

Getting listed will open a ton of opportunities, we don't even know if the team will hold their coins, I am sure they would love to and having a higher institutional share holding would make them work harder so I would like to see them get more and more but at the same time this will be a challenge when it first starts.

I am pretty sure they could buy a lot with the money they made but at the same time it will be finally giving people who do not want to risk their money an option to invest into this. This way you will be just purely buying the coin without gambling and still will get dividends from all the people that have lost money.

As long as the price of bet token doesn't fall from earth you are making money without spending any since you can buy for 2 dollars, earn dividends and then sell for 2 dollars as long as price stays around the same.

I haven't seen anything like $1 buyback promised anywhere, only buyback. And do you mean up to $1? Since they would have to go trough the sell wall first and there would be no guarantees that they get up to $1, but even after that i haven't seen talks of any restrictions that they wouldn't buy higher if possible.
It would be lovely though.
