This seems to be the 3rd complaint (by my count) this past weeks for EarnBet. All seems to be related to their sports betting feature. If there is some issue with it, maybe the EarnBet team should stop using such provider or stop their sportsbetting feature for now until everything gets fixed. Their official representative should also come to this thread ( or even on this scam accusation thread) to clarify everything. Relying on just the support staff to give vague reasons for these various issues doesn't look good for them.
If the Earnbet team does not look for a way to resolve these complaints that have been coming from different corners due to their sportbook, they could get hooked and their reputation is going to drop as they have refused to come and explain what could be the issue. If their is something wrong with their sportbook provider, it is better to switch to a more better option than to refuse to settle the discomfort players are experiencing. I have seen different complaints and how a player was able to raise a small balance in Ethereum to 14 Ethereum, should be assume there is something wrong with their sportbook? Maybe or not though!
There have been so many such complaints recently with people popping up, usually on new accounts that haven't done anything else here, and claiming to be wronged in sports betting. However they are usually doing "matched betting" or some form of arbitrage. They always give a sob story but hide let details. I'd be curious to see the betting pattern behind this, because that is usually a give away. When the bookmaker finally has enough this is where things often get messy. The bookmaker should cut them off and pay out fully really, unless they've got some really good proof of wrongdoing that they're able to display publicly, then they shouldn't accept bets and then not pay out an account balance. Unfortunately there are some who go around abusing bookmakers and it's a very hard thing to prove.
I have no idea why someone would keep as they claim $35k of funds on a bookmaker, unless they are aiming to make very slim wins on slight differences in odds. This complaint is written by someone who seems very clued up on how these bookmakers operate from the little clues they give and writes quite well, reminds me of a similar case where someone tried to rip off Jackpotter recently but we're caught out in the end as arbitrage betting.
I have actually been reading this forum for around 2 years. I only created my account now because I wanted to post my first scam case, after using some of the most popular bookmakers discussed here.
You are right about one thing: in hindsight, it was extremely dumb of me to keep a balance of initially almost 22 ETH on this bookmaker. But honestly, who would expect that they were eventually going to take my money?
And regarding arbitrage betting, I did not use arbitrage or matched betting. If I have time tomorrow, I’ll post my complete betting history so people can look at the actual pattern themselves instead of making assumptions.
What I don't really understand is why you're so focused on finding a reason to doubt my story. I posted all the information I currently have in my hands. If you believe there is something suspicious in my betting history, then let's look at the evidence.
And honestly, do you feel comfortable defending the bookmaker here? They took my 7.7 ETH deposit and more profits and have not paid it back. At the very least, I think the focus should be on why they accepted my bets and deposits and then decided not to pay my remaining balance.
I'm happy to provide more information and my betting history when I can. Judge the case based on the evidence, not simply because I created my forum account specifically to report what happened to me.
