Decentralized exchanges do not have enough volume, but this is due to popularity. When decentralized exchanges become more popular, then the problem with small volumes will be solved by itself.

When everyone understands the advantages of decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges, and the exchanges themselves will have a more friendly and understandable interface, then the question of volume and liquidity will disappear by itself.

It seems to me that the volume of daily trades on the trading platform is also important, and also if we are talking about a certain project, then what are the daily turnover of sales and purchases of the corresponding coin at a certain exchange.

That not withstanding, it is because we d not yet understand the benefits behind it, that is why volume has been one of the issues on decentralized exchange.
Volume is a little issues, if we have traders.
The CEXes today that have a lot of volume, got that as a result of the promotion that the team of those exchanges were able to do. If this same act is replicated on DEXes, there will be improvement.

They need to earn the reputation to be popular.
Binance has a plan to launch their decentralized exchange this year and I guess this is a big news that would certainly affect the decentralized exchanges
in a positive way. when people are satisfied with this upcoming decentralized exchange, it would easily result to an increase of volume.

What ? If they are popular then why they dont have enough volume ?  That should be the opposite  . like for example binance got alot of volumes because binance is verry popular  .

What you really mean to say is that decentralized exchange are not popular enough comapred to centralized ones because decentralized exchange mainly foccuses on altcoin and erc20 type coins  .  these kind of exchanges are seemlesly buggy and slow  .

It's certain that DEX is the best backbone that supports cryptocurrencies, usually distributed ledger tech are being used to achieve this. Peer to peer trading community is what makes cryptocurrencies special. Personally I use Bitrus as my platform for crypto exchanges because it supports 50+ altcoins and repurchase strategy. I also love its user-friendly interface with a lot of tools designed for beginners.

Thanks to decentralized exchanges and peer to peer exchanges you can stay completely anonymous, that is good because privacy matters.

NICE LIST!!!! Thank you for putting this up. I will definitely bookmark this so I have referrence about these exchanges. I consider myself still a newbie, and true to its word - I am! I only know of forkdelta and Idex as they are the only dex I use. I use more Idex though its a challenge to meet the minimum trades as I have only a small amount of tokens.  I will definitely explore your list and see if my tokens are in there. Thank you.

Decentralized exchanges give anonymity, but unfortunately they have a small amount of coins and do not work so quickly. I use Coinchangex and EtherDelta from this list.

See volumes are decreased due to because of ETH price, once the price of ETH was around 1000$ and the volumes of the DEX platform are very high and now the value of ETH is around 140$ which makes low volumes. I hope the Decentralised platform will more in the coming days because every country coins are launching their own blockchain platform as a smart contract platform.

I'm so impressed with what you have contributed so far. I find it very informative, especially when it comes to the advantages and disadvantages of decentralized exchanges. It seems that trading volume decrease due to the domination of the bear market. However, the positive side is that Ethereum is starting to gain traction once again starting off with the Constantinople fork that happened earlier. Binance had recently launched their DEX because they saw how decentralised exchanges are going to change the pace in exchanging tokens rather than centralised exchanges.

P.S. I would suggest adding MetaMorph Pro DEX to your list. Cheesy

there is one more variant, instant non-custodial exchange services, like simpleswap or changenow. they are like dex exchanges, but more reliable and safe.

but unfortunately they have a small amount of coins

you mean coin listing ? that depends  on the exchange that you are using   , some exchange list only few or small time coins while others list big and many different kinds  .

i do heard both of them but i dont try to use coinchangex  ,   i only use etherdelta/forkdelta  .

@op  , thanks for listing all the dex exchange that you know  but sadly i dont recognized most of them  .  i find it risky to try new and unrated exchange  . i guess ill stick for the popular ones for now  .

Hopefully we get there soon. 90% of the value of a DEX is that they are non-custodial. The other 10% varies by DEX, but users should figure it out soon!

Very informative, and I am pretty sure this will definitely give a big tools for the beginners here in the forum.
actually, there are some decentralized platform which according to me is good just like IDEX, but I am very much favorable still on
centralized exchange, on which I think is much more confident for me to use it in my opinion.

IDEX has for quite some time now, been at the fore from of DEXes, which despite that, is yet to measure up with so many global big exchanges. If some of the shortcomings being experienced by decentralized exchanges can be overcome, it will enhance their adoption.

There must be an exchange that will lead them, they don't have a good reputation that is capable of attracting more traders.
Binance DEX is the answer, if this will be fully develop, we might see significant increase of traders and it will give good effect to other DEX like IDEX, etc.

Yes, Centralised exchange is very good but most of the banks are being controlled by them but the decentralised exchange is becoming more familiar because TPS speed kept increasing which makes most of the companies showing interest towards Decentralised because in decentralised they find it more comfortable compared to centralised.

The major driving force for centralized exchange is the volume. If that is removed, I believe interests will be shifted towards decentralized.
Well, it is still very early and what the future holds for decentralized exchanges, is in going to be surprising.
