Im not thinking too much about new coins emerging, im not that interssted.
Ive been there and got the new coins which promise so much but have not
developed. Its a tough road delivering a new coin with a working viable
technology ir solution.

Im not sure there is any positive impact on bitcoin other than it has to be
bought and sold using bitcoin, it might attract new people into crypto who

This couldn't be further from the truth. Almost every new coin or token that is being launched doesn't have a working product. Hell, most of them don't even have a working team, working code, a whitepaper, a github, or a wallet. 99.99% have absolutely no value whatsoever, let alone a unique value, and certainly no real world use.

Almost every coin created these days is designed for one thing and one thing only - to make its creators some easy money. They are relying on newbies and the gullible to throw money at their project so they can make a quick buck and disappear.

Many of the new coins and tokens try to get an advantage of the cryptocurrency hype that exists.
Of course, there are some that have a true application in the real world but people are afraid to invest in them due to the regulations that exist for these companies. I think that these new coins bring more capital to the Bitcoin market but when a bubble blows (because of many of them are scams) the price drops significantly.

"Blockchain is getting recognized" and "Cryptocurrencies are getting recognized" are absolutely two different things. There are countries where cryptos are not a legal tender but government has started using blockchain into certain areas of their operations, example is India. However, lets get back to the main question,

1. New coins and tokens are actually harmful and not doing any good to the community. The investments and money flow are getting divided which could have been flown to the bitcoin and other few main currencies like ETH or TRX. (I don't consider Ripple as a crypto).

2. None that I see! Apart from few people are getting richer by siphoning public money.

Most of the new coins we have in the market are just and ideas and 95% of them are not yet developed.  I think we are going to have more of them coming up in future that should not affect our own bitcoin as bitcoin has established great ground.

The past few years should have already taught us a lesson about these upcoming coins with the large number of people who lost money investing in them. The more coins and tokens there are, the more demand there is for Bitcoin. People buy Bitcoin and send it straight to whatever altcoin exchange. Coinbase and Binance are the perfect examples.

Coinbase functions as fiat entry point. Most of what is bought there in Bitcoin ends up being sent to Binance for trading purposes. Binance's cold wallets count over 200k of BTC, and these are only their known wallets.

At the end of the day, even speculative use is use and an important utility. Without altcoins and tokens there would be so much available coin supply, that we would be hovering around the $1000 mark by now.

I don't think much about the emergence of new coins, unless they really offer real-world utility. Most of the new coins are just around for the money-grab, not real-world utility or even smallest of innovation, so I don't really want to get myself involved on such coins.

I have to again completely disagree with everyone on this thread who is saying that new coins with no working product are still beneficial to bitcoin as they attract more people. I think the exact opposite is true.

First of all, most new coins are in fact tokens built on Eth or a similar dApp platform - these tokens are bought with the parent coin, not with bitcoin, and so no money has to "flow through" bitcoin for these coins to be traded. Secondly, if we have a space that contains 2000+ coins/tokens, and >99% of them are worthless, have no product, scams, pump-and-dumps, etc, it gives off a hugely shady and unprofessional view of cryptocurrencies, bitcoin included, to the outside world.

I for one hope that most alts will die, and we can all get back to focusing on the coin with both a working product and real world use - bitcoin.

I think all three are very different from each other. First of all on first question I think new coins are something we direly need, most of them are horrible and probably going to trash but even that 1% or even less rare coins that actually change something can lead to a whole new level on crypto space which is why we still support all of them with the hopes of finding that gem.

Second question is basically just stating what I answered on first one, there are some new ones who are so great that we try to put all our money into ICO with the hopes that the one we support will become that "new coin" that can change something.

However, the third one is totally different because ICO is an "investment" period and not a trader thing, traders only care about the ones that are listed on places like binance. Hence why it is really not tied together.

Their excuse is that they cannot liquidate funds received in the ICO into fiat currency to pay for the expenses but being the owner of a startup people expect them to have taken a better management and decision making to face the market movements.

1. I noticed that they're almost the same. Each one of them offers anonymity, fast transaction and lower fees, that's what I usually think of their common similarities which is somehow very upsetting because the uniqueness are gone. I hope there would be more coins emerging with great concept or at least have actual applications such as ETN (offers mobile mining), IPL (for insurance), EGC (related with environmental matters) and many more.

We haven't got any tokens listed to the stock exchange. All that getting listed to is the exchanges. Here when the crowd sale is open people buy tokens at a price with discount. When listed to the exchanges when there isn't circulation automatically the market will decline. This is the cause for price drop.

And you're doubtless correct about this.  I came to this thread looking for posts to give merits to, but all I see from the lower-ranked members are a bunch of shitposts which indicate that they have no idea what they're talking about.  I wouldn't pay attention to 80% of what's in this thread--and even the OP is a poorly-written mess of a post.

I agree with your other post, that most coins are just useless copies of others and offer no advantage over anything else that's on the market.  The only reason they keep getting churned out is to line the pockets of the developers at the expense of the suckers who buy the shitcoin.  After a year or so, any given shitcoin ends up in the Yobit 1-satoshi graveyard of coins that have no buy orders and never will.  In fact Yobit used to give free coins at one point, which you could claim every day or so--but they were the worst of the worst and it wasn't even worth the time to click the buttons in order to get them.

I'm aware that developed cryptocurrencies market with variety of coins is good but personally I don't appreciate new coins too much. There are too much of them emerging all the time and only few of them are prosperous and worth investing. They are actually just suffocating the market.

Same with you, mostly they are just a copy from existing successful project where they are only offering some improvements, it's needed to sort things out and being an investors / traders you have to assess each coins that coming up reviewing what can be the deciding factors in order to have some interested investors to support the project.

in my opinion the emergence of new coins is not a problem, but it is the problem of new coins that are detrimental to someone, and I don't think there is an excessive impact on the emergence of new coins for bitcoin.

The impact of new coins to be detrimental would only depend on how much people are drinking into the koolaid and bullshit propaganda of that team. Majority of them dont have any goal other than amassing money from investors and landing up in a stagnant state when market crashes. Thats what makes people more suspicious of what their hard earned money was actually being used for in the name of having invested that in some "bitcoin 2.0"

Honestly, I don't trust the existence of new coins these days. Based on my experience, they will just bloom for days but fades in just a short period of time. I want to get rid of shitcoins so I would only stick to well-established coins. I wish that the market would do coin cleansing to remove all the shitcoins listed.

You can get rid of shitcoins if you sell them - its as simple as pressing a sell button order. But I know that most people will falter here because they have that voice in the back of the mind rehashing that same BS pumping propaganda.

I remember when Ether launched and everyone thought it was a shitcoin and passed up the opportunity to buy it for a few cents. Not many new coins are feasible when on the market and most of them are below the ICO rate, even the IEO too. All of that for many reasons especially the development of ICO is not so good, maybe later ICO / IEO will return hype if the market also starts bullish. I feel the impact on bitcoin is small, especially when seen a new coin is only in small exchanges, and if their volume is small, traders cannot use it to gain big profits.

Putting a dollar on every coin would really cost you.I remember those days when ether still for us to obtain it thru faucets.We do really misses out good opportunities on making big
amounts of profits.Its really late to regret but those golden opportunities wont happen again even on newer coins as of this moment doesn't really bring up something new and most of them

I have no problem with new coins as long as the new coin has something to offer to the community, or if they have a new algo that they want to introduce, to the community, there are a lot of new coins that are duplicate of an existing one but they have a good team, a good roadmap, and platform, and investors and traders are ok with it.
