the project is still going well?

Looks like very well, you can check some news on discord on twitter.
Latest update is here: https://bitgrin.substack.com/p/weekly-update-13-december-5-2019

the chart is suggesting positive movement in the coming days =

but i have no idea if this is a trap for buyers or not? if you are a risk taker, i guess you can jump on it for potential profit. but not for long term one.

There's an epic cash promoter saying bitgrin is dead and a lazy fork with 10% dev fee.

As said by MajorMiner found here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5163970.160

"looked at Bitgrin and I didnt go with them because they are truly a lazy single algo fork of Grin with a 10 percent dev fee and HODL centric mentality. Their business angle is a dead end. Epic Cash is young, more agile, still small, multi algo, clearly evolved version of priors with vastly more potential. I dont give a shit about the dev wallet, I buy my own toys. Furthermore, once the coin gets some value I will share/invest some of my own coins into the project to drive and promote it"

ewryboy shold be very cautious about this "projects"

after 10 months there not able to secure network, so what you get is constant forking, attacks on chain,
its only traded on shady exchanges with washtrades, and they re proud of that,

if youd like to seell this coins, thers no way how to, deposits are constantly disabled like now, its disalbed for
one week, and no one give a fuck to tell you what is happening and when this all willl be sorted out,
even when they open deposit, you can bet it will stay like dat for 2,3 day, then again disabled,
then exchages doing price manipulations aswell
nonethless to say it will take yo like 36hours to get coin on exchange if its open, and even its open,
there isnt a any guarantee your deposit will come in, sa it happened so many times,
thell been claimed non,no,no we didnt recieved anything, but they did as wasc onfirmed,
so thay wnated to cheat on live. or maybde theyre just so retaded, dot think so.

and even that is depo is open, this is not any guerante again, as it in more than 50 fails,
so again, fail, fail after fail

and their sayng in ama, its easy to use, looll,,,...

lol, and they calle them selves a a community, ,they are just a shady scammer where anything is working,

and other funny thing is they still claiming is, we have bitcoin economic, does btc have dev fee?
dont think so, so its onlt your brgaaed economcis, so stop telling this shit anymore

next thing, in the roadmap, they told ther will be a mobile wallet in q3,
you know what they have, a nothing, big nothing, even rodamap was removed,
if they claim something, that will make, you can bet they will not deliver on atime at all,
you can wait next time, and youll get bugged crap, thats the how doing work..

and still ssaying, soon, soon, soon, like retaded parrots,
they have no ide how to do thing, first planned amater, with copied code, abd added theri dev fees to scam adn dump on people

not ieven going to said, aftere all forks ther is no one able to repair block explore for days,
they have no idea to resyn their own wallet, lol, or maybe they just dont even care, because its scam...

and they still be telling everything is allright, even if everything totally fuc ked up...
this is just a group of scamming clowns...

im watching this from begging, so better move yourself elswere, this just a waste of time and money

so be very cautious, dont jump on this scam, this coin is absolutely worthlsess...

How is the payout working?I'm using Windows wallet v.1.1.5.
At BitGrinPool webpage it says:"BitGrin Pool has upgraded to wallet version 2. You MUST upgrade your wallet to receive payouts." What is v2?
I requested payout but coins never came to my Kingfish wallet???

https://twitter.com/BitGrin/status/1091369743825678336

“@ivan_nakamoto We have no premine, it’s a dev fee that takes 4 years to be delivered. Grimble is either too incompetent to understand the difference, or being deliberately misleading about what it means to pre-mine a coin. Hint: they control 99.99% of their coins supply today.”

That strategically unmentioned dev fee tho

you are a crook, i want my coins back that you stole !  Roll Eyes ===> * watch your inbox for my boot up your ass.*

4 years vesting period, this tells u a lot about teams diligence and commitment to whatever they work on. They wont get rewards for 4 years. If someone told me that Im going to work for free for 4 years I would target that persons mug with a jet of urine. Oh what are we up to today? Team is on the binge or high on weed, and nobody cares even though it offends other peoples pent-up feelings. What do we do?

You use the right wallet.
Did you open port 8515?

You can also use Ngrok, which overcomes the need to port forward.
- Download ngrok and unzip it https://ngrok.com/download
- Open ngrok
- type: ngrok http 8515

Now you will see a screen with an address, something like https://xxxxxx.ngrok.io this is your temporary address were you can withdrawal you coins to for 8 hours.
Don't close this screen and the wallet when you try to recieve coins.

Next question is: How to withdraw from Vinex?

- In Kingfish go to settings(gear icon) and enable "accept payments from the outside world"
- Go to "receive" and than "receive via http"
- use that adres to withdrawal from Vinex, keep your wallet open!
(withdrawal 999 xbg or less from Vinex will go automatic. If you do more, Vinex will manually reviewing you transaction)

Note, if you use Ngrok, than use that adres.

Hey everyone! It's been a year since we've kicked this project off, and I think it's time to recount what we've accomplished so far.

1 - Released the first wallet with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS support for MW with a friendly GUI and easy payment solutions, Kingfish
2 - Updated and corrected security flaws found in the Grin core code (this was pulled back in to the Grin project, which we initially forked from)
3 - Got listed on BitMesh  Grin
4 - Got delisted on BitMesh  Shocked
5 - Got listed on Vinex  Grin
6 - Got listed on STEX  Grin
7 - Got listed on Vitex  Grin
8 - Got listed on CITEX  Grin
9 - Mobile wallet support provided by ViteX wallet
10 - Crossed over 1k Twitter followers
11 - Grew our Chinese community to over 1k on the WeChat group
12 - Successfully hard forked (TWICE!) without chain split issues

Congrats to everyone participating, in celebration we're going to also do a little Twitter giveaway (you can find it on @BitGrin Twitter account)

Let's keep this rolling in to 2020  Cool

Grin source code? Is this a Grin coin fork? I was one of the major contributors to grin in times past, having done most of its improvements with no pay. I came here to introduce myself for I believe code thieves must know who I was back then. Ive never groused about not getting paid for my work coz I always knew sometime I will come up to whoever stole my work and clobber the thief.

Yes this is a Grin fork. I'm not sure what you mean about "stealing". It's an open source project.
