Great article. Like the trader in the article, I'm sure the current bear market trend would soon come to an end. In 2018, we saw more adoption for Cryptocurrencies along with an increase in trading volume even though the prices isn't affected yet. There's been signs pointing towards a change in trend soon. Although no one knows when,  I'm sure we'll see the good 'ol green days pretty soon.

We all want to feel the end of the bear market, the bear market is so scary. Many people experience losses because of the impact of uncertain market situations. Q1 this year we are still faced with bear market conditions, hopefully in Q2 this year the situation has become much more and we can get a much better situation so that we can improve the economic conditions that we have.

I suspect we'll be in this bear market for a few more months at the least, but it could also end next week- there's really no telling when this bear market's going to end, but at the least our fundamentals are much better than they were in the last bear market Bitcoin was in before the run up to the ATH at $20k, and there's more services involving BTC and crypto as well. I definitely think there's going to be another bull market for BTC, though, but the mindset most people are in is definitely different than the last bear market we were in, with more people holding for the mid to long-term expecting another ATH. It'll definitely be interesting to see how the next run up goes.

In my personal prediction bear market of crypto already ended and currently the market sideaway and in the middle of this year will back to bullish, i believe with circle of crypto market that bullish and bearish always changed. With more adoption of crypto and blockchain  technology this market for sure will turn in to bullish, we have to wait patient for that.

So what's your own opinion and say about how soon will the bear market be over?

Many people/ web comes up with their prediction but I can't see reality until now, sad of course not because only prediction. I just have patience but mostly I leave crypto and built my skill with forex market. Stuck in big number make me stress on crypto but that's my choice. I hope bear market will end at lest until March or I'll cut loss all my transactions, too long to wait.

If the experts in predictions last year are all became foolish because of this bearish market then how much more for us which are only simple crypto users. It is hard to determined if when this bearish market will end but maybe if ETF products will be given a chance then i guess it might trigger the bullish run as i believe that it will attract billions of investors making the crypto currency to become great once again.

No one can really said when this bear market will be over.  It might be the longest but that do not mean that the end is closed.  We still have not touched the bottom base on technical indicators.  I think strong news has to hit the market in under to change the direction of the market.

The article is just a guess and doesn't really mean its accurate. If you want to know how long it will last you need to look at the daily and weekly charts of BTCUSD.

Many people assumed $6000 (or $5800 ) was the low and it would rise from there, however most traders knew it would break because every single time it went to $6000 and bounced it made a failed lower high, and this was happening for months and it never painted a new higher high.

Hence for this bear market to end, we need to see a new higher high at least at $4200 or $4400 and it needs to act as support before we can call the end of the bear market.

I also see the last year support ($5800-$6000) being major resistance and IF and only IF it manages to close above $7000-$8000 or so, I would say that the bear market was definately over and $3100 was indeed the low.

Until then all we can do is wait.

To end the bear market, we need to lose all the hope for crypto's recovery. People still have hopes. They should lose it first.

Though this is the longest yet this is not the first time bear market happens and stay long so why bother that much?what is important that we can still see some potential in future since the market stay strong even that this bearish getting long and longer

Dont you think the halving will move the price up no matter what? why does the cycle have to bottom perfectly with everyone losing hope - to me it would take a good 2 years from now with no price movement up for most to lose hope.  A quick crash down at anytime could scare people so maybe that will happen.

It will but it needs to be combined with the time factor. The Last halving happened in 2016 didn't moon the prices instantly. Its effect was delayed like a year because the time wasn't right in 2016. Market cycles are equally important. Halving just amplifies the effect.

It is very likely that we will see the recovery in q4. The blockchain is already a big thing, and the bear market gives us a chance to see the major technical improvements, as in such times quality, not quantity prevails.

According to what I analyze, I think our crypto market will recover soon after 2 years. You know, the recession will soon end and it will make the economy return to a flourishing period.
The cycle of the recession year economy usually lasts 2-4 years. I realize that our market is starting to recover. Trading wars are also cooling and that is a very good sign.

They are waiting for a much clearer signals before they will purchased back, the bear really scared those peps who haven't done their homework before
investing, but for people who knows how to wait and patiently observing they are just looking for a good indicators before coming back and start to invest,
leading them to a much better views of the market conditions.

For how many times I’ve seen lots of thread talking about the bear and it seens like the market will last for atleast another year from now and as what they’ve said its on 2020 maybe yes
