everyone does not believe this happened but I experienced it myself, I have used metamask for one year and I have saved the original web as well as possible, I used to do transactions but there was no problem because the web that I used was genuine metamask, I was also surprised and did not believe why this happened, my private key held without anyone else knew all this time

I am sure that it is very likely that you have installed the wrong Metamask add-ons, given that there were many incidents about this, they chose the wrong application so that the malware add-ons caused your wallet to be hacked.

You can talk with Vitalik Buterin in the twitter and he will make a new hard fork in eth blockchain, like he did this before for his friends from dao) This is crypto and we like on Wild Wild West. We must be very careful, hope you will earn more money and forget about this negative. I was faked some time ago on the fake exchange site. I understand you very well.

Perhaps you need to contact the developers and ask them a question they will answer and the situation will be more clear because here you will find only speculation and opinions of people, you are unlikely to help. Try to contact support@metamask.ioIt is unlikely that it will help, without access to private keys, the attackers would not be able to steal funds from the wallet. Is there a risk that hacker could do this by getting remote access to your computer on which you were logged into a metamask?

Not sure if that is your wallet being hacked is probably your system or computer that's hacked. Wallet are hardly hacked these days only if you are careless enough to let your private key or phrase to be input somewhere spamming online, if not I'm sure is from your computer because you might add it to your browser.

just try contact support, if it can't be returned then you have to give it up. because the wallet doesn't have the power to return it all.

The error can not be it, you mean somewhere lit up your private key, I think maybe entered another exchange with metamast, I would have transferred from your wallet tokens and would not use it anymore

Some people reported to have issues with Metamask, and hacking is one of the main issues. But trust me other software that similar to Metamask, has more issues, and I think Metamask is still the best option. I really don't want to make it worse by blaming yourself. But most of the crypto wallet hacking happen because the owner are reckless, the first thing is do you keep your private key secure? Put it in a secure computer with good antivirus and security, and never share it to anyone. Or maybe you just installed an untrusted software and you don't have a good antivirus.

if your metamask account is hacked, the only way you have to do it now is to move all of your assets to a new wallet, because if your asset has moved wallet there is no way to return it

I think it's not the system error maybe your computer has a virus, try to clean your computer use an antivirus software or maybe you've entered a fake MEW site, don't use that address make a new one.

I think this is a mistake. But for security, I advise you to protect your computer, install an antivirus, do not store in the public domain private keys and encrypt files that store your passwords. Remember that only you can provide the necessary security for your coins.

It seems to me that these coins will not be returned anymore, so it is best to make another wallet and probably be more careful with private keys!

you should transfer all your asset to new wallet. a have experience from a friend of mine. the hacker of your wallet will transfer again when your wallet has a fund again. and he will do all over again.

It looks very strange, but I'm sure if you're worried about your safety, it shouldn't have happened. You should make sure that no one has access to your computer or connected remotely. And also make sure your secret phrase wasn't stolen. Don't store your passwords and keys in cloud storage and text files on your desktop.

It's really not a new thing, last year countless people's wallets were hacked. This is the singular reason why I don't like that wallet. Even with you having your private key intact you are still at risk

why do you keep the assets you have in a metamask wallet that has proven its security is still not trustworthy, my advice is that you better use myetherwallet which is currently the safest ethereum wallet and erc20 wallet.

I'm sorry but I have never heard of metamask hack before because of the complicated way the wallet was conceptualized. Are you sure your system has not been breached by hackers' viruses?

Metamask or cold wallet is not safe if you do not know the information security. I believe your computer has been hacked and leaked information to hackers. I only use MyEtherWallet with json file and password, but my wallet is always safe and has never been stolen by anyone
