Gambling losing streak, I’m into gambling for about months now, and in my first game I was able to generate profit enough to be happy, I continued for the rest of my 4 weeks of playing, sometimes its breakeven but I know its ok. My friend invited me to play with him in casino this time, I have enough money to play for so I decided to say yes. Bad luck comes to me this time, at first my loss was about $500, so I know it is still fine and decided to continue, but the moment we stopped I think its too late now since I’ve already loss $3000, a very bad day for me. I’ve lost the money I’ve worked hard for. This is an eye opener situation for me, and I’ve realized that gambling was slowly eating my brain and my money. Now I’m broke but still kickin, this can be the proof that chasing your losses is not good at all and it should be avoided. Have the same experience with me? Don’t hesitate to share and give some thoughts for those who are suffering from sitution like this.

Losing streak is a common things, I think all gamblers ever experienced about that, previously I was addicted to gambling, I can spend almost everyday gambling, playing poker, blackjack, baccarat and every game, its consuming all my time and all of my money, its an eye opener when I need to buy something but got nothing in my bank account, at that point I realise I need to change or I will be sleeping on the street, and no matter how experienced you are or how good you set your strategy, you wont win in long term, gambling is supposed for entertainment not the place you can make profit

The worst is when you want to recover your losses. When you are in a bad luck and are not having fun anymore, just give it a break. Withdrawal your money, accept your loss and come back some other day to have more fun.
Don't try to get back the money you lost, or you will end up losing more (probably)

Gambling well and staying profitable is more about when do you get out of the bad situation of chasing your losses. If you keep that in control, you could stay profitable or at least not go down so heavily. As soon as I saw the title of the post, I knew it that you'd have probably lost a lot of money gambling and hence posting this. Also, remember the golden rule "Only gamble with what you can afford to lose". If you stick to that along with some self control while on a losing streak. You should be good. Like youve mentioned in the post, that you had made an amount that you were happy with. I think you should have only gambled with those profits or a part of it and if you had a bad day, it wouldnt have been so bad. We all have bad days its just about how we deal with it and call it a day early or keep pushing hoping your luck will turn eventually. Anyways, whats sone is gone, Hope youve learnt a lesson from it and keep to it. GL.

You broke means you gamble over your own limit, all gambler will say similar thing once they lost over their own limit. This is why it is very important for us to gamble what we can afford to lose only. Nothing you can do now except admit your own mistake and move on. Dont even think to recover again because you may get on deeper loses.

A very costly eye opener for you but it isn't surprising with these kind of situations which is common among gamblers. They do only learn if they do suffer losses. Chasing loses is always been a problem because your mind and emotion mixed up that you might able to break even on next bet which you would surely tend to bet even more to cover up the funds that have been lost.If you aren't lucky enough then you do know the consequences goes deeper.

They don't analyze about the good and the negative effects. From the post it is clear that he have accompanied his friend, which is good. At the same time he should be clear about the games as well the winning probabilities and losing chances. Just because you won the first game can't expect the same to happen longer.

Bottom line is take a break if you find yourself in a dry spell. There is nothing that is making us gamble and you are lucky it was only 3000$ that you lost. The first time my best friend gambled he lost more then he could afford and had to explain it to his wife. When I loose its only a small amount of money so I am not in the same position as you.

I've into gambling before and at first it's really fun because you can deposit and withdraw in an instant and also there are different types of games from card games, roulettes, live betting, sports betting, jackpot machine and virtual casino/racing games. In other words you will not get bored and wanting to use all the different casino games and look at what fits you and when you are earning you're going to be greedy and greedy until you hit the losing streaks and wanted to recover and recover until you lost all your money/investment. And just like what happened to you... I get addicted and when I don't have anything I will realize the value of all the money/crypto that i've wasted. Every gambler should know his/her limitation in order to avoid future damage/risk.

When reality strike, you will finally realized that losing your hard earned money into something that just make you addicted is more regretful than losing it in some other form, chasing aggressively will make you lose more than what you allocated to, learned from that and start changing your ideas about gambling.
It's enjoyable if treated right but more on regretful when aggressions begin to conquered your mindset.

Well, in most cases the people behave opposite to this. When they lose a game in gambling, they eagerly wanted to cover the loss. So they bring more money in gambling with the hope that this time they will win and their loses will be recovered, but then again it does not happen and they again lose. If this happens repeatedly, one can lose a big amount of money in gambling.

Winning or losing gambling will certainly make people addicted to that game until they get what they want or feel bored. Everyone must know the loss that he will get when losing a streak, so as not to continue thinking to the brain. If it keeps thinking in your brain it will certainly make you motivated to play again, you also have to think about your limits when playing.

Everyone who goes to a casino or log in to an online casino want's to win, that includes me, however what makes others different from the rest of the gamblers out there is there are players who just want to play, entertain themselves or kill time. They don't have a goal on how much they wan't to win, they just wan't to have fun and the money that they will spend is just enough, enough that if ever they lost it all, they still go home with a smile.

Well said, gambling without any prior understanding will surely lead to addiction. In the opening post it is said that he has won in the first event, following the same he began to loss. First event win happens with majority of the users, this isn't planned but a coincidence. When he began to loose he hasn't taken a break which is the mistake. If he had taken a break, he would've decided to quit.

Everytime you play, theres are something in you that keeps on growing until you become addict and cannot be stopped. It slowly eating your brain that you will never notice un untill you are on the highest stage of addiction. Canser is expensive, so is being an addict gambler.

That was tough mate, it's a big loss for sure because that's out of your budget and you work hard for that money. You are brave and honest enough to share your experience, I guess everyone can also learn from you and they should not risk a big amount in gambling, regret always do come in the end but you are right, life must continue, we can correct our mistakes while we are still alive, we loss some but definitely we can make some in crypto if we change our method of risking money, probably it should not be gambling.
