i agree on you statement bro that mostly investors now is starting to look for finished project because indeed they don't want actually to waste their time on some fresh ICO wherein even though it's very promising. Because mostly emerging project nowadays always  make excuses and asking for extension when it comes distribution but the truth behind it will disappear suddenly and end up to scam! That's why more investors preferred to join in some finished projects wherein they can get 100% profits.

The idea in ICO's is good it is like a fund raising for a project but you can earn back some profits by selling their token. But it was abused by some people creating scam ICO's and steal peoples money and this really impacts the crypto community it ruin the image of ICO's. They are changing the name now to STO (Security Token  Offering) but it is just the same I heard some STO was turned scam.

If you don't like the idea of ICO then why you should have to invest on it? This is not the only investment way for you,there are already lots of altcoins you can get at the market place after analyzing deep about the coin which is strongly recommended that ICO investment.

It takes a lot of experience, luck, and the right timing if you want to get a big profit from the ICO. In 2018, there were many Ico who failed and scam, causing many investors to lose. Maybe you are one of the victims of the terrible ugliness of the ICO-related project, you should know, since October 2017 Vitalik Buterin has reminded us all that 90 percent of ICO projects or ERC20 tokens launched above the Ethereum Protocol are likely to fail in the long run and eventually they drastically lead to fraud or scam. It should be, from that moment we examine first, for example:

• Are they serious about running the project?
• Make sure, that the team that develops the project is not anonymous, meaning that they've got a clear and real identity according to what's has published on their site.
• We have to know the education history of their team members?
• Don't be easily tempted by their promises, because anything that's too many promises usually more likely to lead to fraud.
• Etc...

I guess it is high time we stop the ICO or better still stop the idea of public sales,if the dev cannot be responsible for the financial support for the project then maybe the dev can look out for those that can invest privately while they sign some agreement that will bind the dev and team in order not to run away and forget the project.

ICO did make a lot of surprises in the past year, the ICO project failure rate is indeed very high. You have to be patient in facing this situation because actually there are still ICO projects that are successful even with a low percentage success rate. You must be able to choose smartly, the right choice will make yourself gain profit.

ICO's that started from a country that no strict regulation was always "Shady in Nature" most of the time these greedy people are just using the anonimity of the crypto-currency and Blockchain this is the bad side of decentralization without proper regulation in my country ICO's are strictly followed the rules and regulation therein thats why the Investors funds are safe. nowadays more and more useless pointless double faced so called ICO still flooded specially in these forum so everyone must applied due diligence before making and attemp to Invest on ICO's .

Serve that got listed last week is currently trading almost twice its ICO price, no doubt the investors of such a project will be happy now. Well, in this market in General it is difficult to earn something on the ico , I think if only very well to choose a project that has collected software cap only then you can earn something and in most cases you just go to the minus

This is the problem why most of the ICO's right now are failing because they don't reach the soft cap of their project. There are many scam ICO's already that made the investors think twice before investing on it.

I think the best thing to do now is invest on the most trusted altcoins like Ethereum and Litecoin. There are other altcoins out there that you can invest with.
