ICO was very disappointing, I did not expect that I lost a lot of ETH because ICO investors who failed to reach the softcap or have not entered the exchange until now, I hope that the market will soon be good so that it has a positive impact on the ICO.

Do not take everything close to your heart. Here you need to keep a meaning that does not get sick. Or worse. Be careful. And then the world of cryptocurrency will give you a lot of smiles.
in investment we do have to get used to failure because there is no investment that guarantees you will get a profit so you should not put it on your heart if it fails.

just make that failure an experience that can make you more careful in investing because not all ICOs are bad.

ICO investment has been truly abused and the focus of many developers is to raised funds even without developing the project. I think the process needs to be overhaul and there should be a system that will force project developers to be accountable to those that supported the project with their hard earned money.

I have also been disappointed by Iico and I have to take valuable lessons from there that I have to be more careful in choosing projects to avoid scam projects especially nowadays the more rampant it makes a lot of people become frustrated with the situation now.

No funds no project idea makes me sick and tired of ICO ,I never like the idea right from the beginning ,why? Well to me if you are the owner of your business or company and you have struggled a lot to build it you won't dare want to let go or see it crumbled and fail, this is not present in ICO cases ,ICO is just like "oh if not much funds then I will back off and reopen another project maybe we can reach the hard cap" ,well if every developers are the ones funding there projects they will be more serious to make it a successful one,the easy safe path of backing out if hardcap is never achieved makes it feel easy for every one especially the scammers, I'm not been heartless ,if you don't have money to fund your project just don't bother ,many coins out there have no ICO ,no premine ,no bullshit with fine price per coin ,they never want any funds ,coins like masari ,Loki, haven project, dero rely on nobody fund yet they perform better than hundreds of ICO.
i know what you say, that's why i didn't invest inico except in binary launchpad.
now I think it will be better to trade than investing in an ICO because there are too many ordinary and mainstream ideas.

The problem is not in ICO as itself but in the people who launch it. I know a lot cool dev teams who are trying their best to bring real value to the crypto community and don't care about the amount of funds raised. And others only want to drain investors wallets and then to buy themselves lambos and so on. So I mean that this fully depends on the people who are implementing an ICO.

Investing in ICOs today is not as easy as ever because most of them are already kyc and the other one is spending money out of investing in ico that is unlikely to click on it or no. and the other is if it's legit so it's a good idea to look at the project and its product to make sure it's also a bad idea to review its team and the essentials.

I think that fraud cases about ICO make investors afraid to invest, this makes a lot of interesting projects become a lack of funds that makes the project run slowly. Until now, ICO has a greater risk than before. you may be sick with ICO, but the most profitable investment is through ICO, because at that time the price of coins was very cheap.

actually ICO was created that has a positive side, namely giving an opportunity to those who have external ideas can and want to create a project that is useful for others, but this is precisely a lot of people use the negative side of ICO to do a scam

many cheats on behalf of ico this makes some people feel afraid of ico,if you are already sick with ico you can invest in a trusted altcoin. but there are some investors who are successful at ICO maybe they have good research before investing and the luck factor also contributes to the part within us.

Currently investors have lost interest in ICOs and this is the reason why even ICO projects that looks credible and solid are suffering from the wickedness of those before them. Though am still investing ICOs but super selective now, I have only invested in two ICOs this year.

Have you already managed to invest this year? I have not yet seen the good projects this year. I take part in the bounty campaigns because I think that the project may be good in the future, but I don’t risk with my money

Well like you said, no company owner would want his company built by him to just crash, but seeing ICO as such  isn't completely  right, you think because it is ICO the developers don't care? This is not true, I have seen several icos that made it to lime light, and still waxing strong even though there are also some that just neglect the project.  also. What we need is doing research before joining any ICO and trust me we would succeed.

This is a new method of fund collecting in financial world and brings tons of opportunities to your business. The problem is the lack of trust from investors side, because the market is still overwhelmed with scam projects.

People were tired of waiting for projects listed on large exchanges and this is the main reason why investors no longer feel interested in new projects. Everything was great in 2017 because most ICO projects had great success and that was considered a trend at that time but in 2019 everything was completely changed when all the projects ICO is just a scam to make money from investors making many people lose all their assets

Most of the projects are currently failing. And the main reason for the failure is the market's state of affairs. Many people who are generally invested, do not want to invest in fear. One fear is working in their mind that if suddenly the price decreases further. So ICO project going failed.

ICO is a very serious process, which I would probably call very, very serious, but recently this process for some reason has become a vocation for scam projects. This is a very big bug of our financing system.

For an ICO to succeed, it needs some professional touch, as well as some level of trust.
An ICO handled by experts moats times tends to succeed, because the project will be given proper marketing and will be well published in a way that would make investors to have more interests in it.

Make it simple bro if ICO make you sick, you dont trust anymore, so go invest with strong coin like bitcoin, ethereum, xlm, litecoin and etc. Easy right. Because for me ICO still great, yes many scam projects out there, that's why we must be careful choose it, and of course if we already trust it, only invest using side funds, not main funds
