ICOs don't make money anymore in the downtrends and this is the reason why everyone feels bad for new token sales. There are good reasons to believe in the future of blockchain technology and bitcoin itself. ICOs can't change this.

in the past, ICO has been difficult to make an investment in this case there may be many things that affect it. but perhaps expert investors can benefit even with poor market conditions like some time ago, and some other investors may secure their funds

it is very difficult to choose quality ICOs and can provide profits to investors because there are very many SCAM cases in the ICO project. now the IEO has become the choice of many investors even if only for the short term but the IEO system is more reliable.

You can achieve what you want with good research. True that most of the ICOs are scam, but this is nothing new for any of us.
IEOs are not the exact solution for current case. For now IEOs can be countered to scam, afterwards different results will not surprise us.

Yes, i am agree with you, ICO's makes me sick! I used to make profits with ICO's, That was great times, i made great ammount of money in second quarter of 2016 and all 2017. Than  i raised my investments, and as we all know in 2018 everything turned in bad ways.. I lost nearly my everything. (Also i got scammed and lost $4000 in EzToken ICO) So i wouldn't ever invest to an ICO project, this is too dangerous nowadays.

No funds no project idea makes me sick and tired of ICO ,I never like the idea right from the beginning ,why? Well to me if you are the owner of your business or company and you have struggled a lot to build it you won't dare want to let go or see it crumbled and fail,this is not present in ICO cases ,ICO is just like "oh if not much funds then I will back off and reopen another project maybe we can reach the hard cap" ,well if every developers are the ones funding there projects they will be more serious to make it a successful one,the easy safe path of backing out if hardcap is never achieved makes it feel easy for every one especially the scammers, I'm not been heartless ,if you don't have money to fund your project just don't bother ,many coins out there have no ICO ,no premine ,no bullshit with fine price per coin ,they never want any funds ,coins like masari ,Loki,haven project, dero rely on nobody fund yet they perform better than hundreds of ICO.

rewardmob is a project that makes me really sick, because after 1 year running, the team announced that one of them ran away and did not get a reward at all. and until now there is no clarity at all from them.

Thats sad story and true,  ICO in the past is so different at the present, reminds me how legitimate the past projects, 90% was really a real project not just to run ICO. Those project had really a strong positive intention to make wider their existing project through the help of investors, it really give profit but what is happening now is massive fake and weak projects. It make me sick too

In this time, follow ICO is not give you more profitable. Many their token price in exchange always under price in token sale.
If their token price is more than ICO price, most of users always fast to sell their token and give that token price is more fast to dump.

This is exactly why STO's could (and probably should) replace ICO's.

You need some degree of trust, professionalism, and I dare say institutional investment for a project to not just run off with investor funds or deliver a poor quality. Regulated STO's could definitely help (much more than IEO's, don't even get me started on those they are just a stop-gap for exchanges to try and make some extra cash).

2/3 of small businesses fail in the first ten years. ICO's are no different (and perhaps even worse since there is limited accountability and this is a nascent industry). If you pick the next big thing then great you could be in for some big wins - but you should assume that the majority of ICOs won't make it.

In the first place, lets find find out what ICO means. It is Known as Initial coin offer, it means the project is aiming to collect fund from the investors who will get interest to their project and to make that happen the usages of the utility token they have must attract their investors, but sad to say since 2018 most of the ico gave me a headache. Even up to now it is really difficult to find the good ico project. Although, there are still legit project we have here only things We need to do is to have a proper research first before anything else.

I bought a lot of ARAW token at that time and now its price has been divided 35 times compared to the ICO price. But after being listed on the trading floor, it actually died.

I think a good project will wait for the market conditions to improve before running its crowdfunding. There's a small chance, even for good projects to reach their targets in a bear like this, and the good dev teams know this.

So, the ones which choose to run an ICO in this market are the bad ones! Scams, failures, and the ones which are not serious...

ICO makes you really sick because it is complicated most especially as of this moment. Many people used ICO to deceive other people or known as fraudulent scam. From this it gives you more worries aside from rate of returns in investment, funds, and other factors. I think you should also take some rest in order to moderate your stress in life.

but now there are some ICOs that already have products that cannot run well. all depend on the concept, even though there are products that have not become a guarantee for ICO success. but indeed the existence of a product slightly reduces the risk or is it more convincing for the ICO to be further investigated.

let alone ICO, the projects in the IEO are not necessarily good, maybe it is good because they have been listed in the exchange.
but for usecase and development? this is still questionable.
and it is true, even projects that do not rely on ICO or no premine are usually serious projects and have a good future.

I'm done with ICO long time ago because i don't want to get involved to these scam projects. I invested into at least 10 ICO projects for hoping that they will give a good return or profit but after a few months of the ICO project, it just goes decline and the price sinks like a ship. I am done with the ICO and if you want to make a decent money then just try trading.

Strict regulations, overly wordy rules of the game, make many companies then see ICO as the ultimate path.
