Don't be just so excited yet, it could drop back any time soon probably by Thursday since it's just a minor price rise. There  seems to be a major resistance at 4K. You should start getting excited when it goes 5K and above.

There's always the chance to rise as the bitcoin adoption is growing stronger everyday. You can read articles that companies are starting to accept not only btc but eth as well for their payment method. Such adoption is a good signal that bitcoin will increase its value.

Agreed, by the same time there is more interesting predictions as well. One of which that gives hope is Tim's interview stating that everyone by 2023 can buy a cup of coffee with bitcoin. Such a level of adoption is predicted to happen, if that's achieved surely we'll have a big growth in the value of bitcoin.

  patience is a virtue mate just keep believing and don't ever rely on others ,which is pursue yourself to keep holding because indeed there's no other way to exit on this kind of business especially if you have massive losses. .Don't become hopeless because everything is temporary.  And this happening now in the market is big chance for us at least to regain our losses or to fully recovered.  Just put more patience

You are not alone in this unexpected mishap. Many came into the market just when it was so much alive and invested excitedly and pompously. Now, many ended up crying and quitting with heavy losses. But looking at all the progress and developments of crypto, as well as how many nations embrace it nowadays, I think, that's enough reason to hold on to it. As early adopters, this gives us the advantage to succeed. Bitcoin indeed overcome some negativity problems this year which the reason why JP Morgan issued their own coin, Indian having a blockchain summit and IMF Boss advising Central Banks to issue their own crypto currency. Having more patience in this field is our key to succeed in the future, im about to give up too lately, because i only see is drops/downtrend, so i also decide to leave my assets mostly bitcoin in my portfolio, and never look it back until 6 months, and now im still hoping that bitcoin will rise again and get my lost back.
