Martingale "does works". If doesn't then the term shouldn't be not existed here in gambling world.

It's just that it "doesn't always works" since aside from the betting style, people have to consider the house edge and other factors.

There is also a type of gambling where martingale is effective*. Just don't used that style on long term betting or it might wrecked your precious wallet.

The only way Martingale works is when you have unlimited amount of money.

You can't. Gambling sites does have bet limits.

This is the result of this strategy and we should not continue using this one. Almost all the comments here are negative so technically, Martingale is not working well. In gambling your luck is important, no matter what your strategies are you will still ended up losing the money if you’re not lucky.

I use martingale all the time whenever i play dice games  but i dont have a huge capital  . what i do is i first bet 0.00000001 sats , i roll the dice and wait for it to loose three times in a row after that i then max my bets  . if i loose i quit and if i won ill try again .

Also, you should know when to stop playing, you should not be greedy.

Thats the key to win using any strategy not just only for martingale .

Anyway, few are the casinos that will let you use the martingale strategy.

All casino allows any strategy  but all have different probability of winning  .

taking into account that we still have to set up unlimited resources - there is no point doubling the bet - we have to at least triple it - then the win will be half of the last bet, that is, it starts to make sense ...

Martingale really works but only in short term. If you used it in the long run, you'll eventually lose even if you have a big bankroll. If martingale works perfectly, online gambling won't boom as of now and many casinos will get bankrupt easily. I've tried it when I was new in dice. The experience was good until I got 20red streak which I thought before is impossible to happen. Since I stopped using it, I didn't used it again up to now and don't want to use it again ever.

You don't have to make things complicated, martingale is just a betting strategy what's important is you know how to win and when there is a house edge, there's no way your winning moment will last. Even how many times you will try, I believe you will still end up a loser in the end.
The fact that you don't put any target amount of your max winning, that will make you a loser.

Every betting strategy, if we use it repeatedly, will definitely give us bad results. In gambling, there are times when we are lucky and vice versa. The important stuff is how we manage our money, in the hope of earning profit or at least not losing too much money through gambling. Martingale will work at some points but there is no guarantee that we will get the expected result all the time.

I've done similiar coding before and tried to find some "holy grail" strategy using Microsoft Excel and had little luck.

Basically with a house edge even at 0.1% , you will always go bust when time -> infinity.

I tried to do strategies like "Only bet big after 15 losses in a row", or "Only bet big after 20 losses in a row" and the results were all the same. No actual edge was given.

It worked well. 43% probability of doubling - 27% in original strategy. Well if by increasing multiplier we increase probability than it would be wise to check what's with x5.

It looks like x2 is extremely unprofitable. Increasing multiplier instantly boost performance until we reach 3. Further increasing is not changing probability significantly. From my observations of different strategies results that every strategy that makes us spend more time in casino in fact lowers our probability to double. It seems that putting all portfolio on red gives 48% probability of doubling and that's optimal strategy.
Changing multiplier worked because we actually spend much much less time in Casio (quicker bankruptcy or double).

Nah, i don't believe this because if there is a house you were the one that is going to lose after all. Not if you are so lucky to win, thus betting is by chance of luck though there are some games that don't require luck but only with skills. I guess skills may be a good match of martingale to ensure your winnings.

Martingale technique has been proved that it cannot make the gambler win in long term, its because the capital we got is limited, the house edge and the losing chance is bigger if we play for the long time, but if you play safe and know when to stop then you can make profit with martingale, but it won't work every time, set your stop limit will make you got better strategy to make profit

This simulation shows that Martingale simply don't work and is worse than betting everything on red and going home. Gambling should be considered as fun with luck. I agree! Gambling is a game of chance not a game of strategy. Even if you say you play a poker game which is also a game where you need to have skills in bluffing and reading your opponents body language, still if your opponent gets a better card than yours then no strategy or skill can beat that.
