There's no moon, half moon, stars, etc, there isn't even an uptrend, just random pumps every now and then, and they certainly don't signal a bull run.

What these pumps can do is change a bit the market sentiment. It's pretty clear we're getting rid of the uncertainty and negativity that's been surrounding the market for months, but that doesn't mean a bull run will start soon, we still need to see a reversal first, we're slowly getting there but there's still a long way to go.

No one can expect a bull run, apart from what happened in 2017 and 2018, as the crypto is not controlled by anyone in particular. Thus, however says “this and that date” is a mere speculator. Bull runs happen for a reason and those are known behind the curtains, most of the time. However, SEC decision will have a significant effect on cryptos but probably not in a way that many traders would expect. I suspect that coins will not gain crazy growths in value but would steadily increase their prices as the ETF application increases. Industry is too complex for sudden changes just because we’ve got another factor. The effect will be different, as in more businesses will be interested in cryptocurrencies, or better said, in blockchain technological solutions. Just my two cents on this matter and will continue to monitor its movement. Got to return now with my gaming session. Cheers!

nope not yet we are still far away to leave from this bear market, this is probably a hype from ETH hardfork.
but we can expect the price to increase more in the following week

Don't expect too early,if it happens then accept it gladly but expecting without much sign will disappoint us it it turns into a bull trap again.

I know that there has been a recent gain in the price of BTC and people are assuming that the bull run has started but this might not be true.
I myself thought that the bull run has finally started but little did I know that BTC won't be able to hold it for long at $4000.
We can say that BTC has failed until now to break the $4000 resistance and once it's done then we shall see how high the price goes.
Only then we can say if it actually was a moon or not.

Anything will be possible along with this bull run but we need to be more realistic because after a heavy downfall in 2018, I'm just hesitating to call for similar events of 2017 as it might be to early to expect that to happen again in this crypto space. Since I'm repeating anything will be possible here in this crypto space. Hence, we must need to be preferred to have any long and strong bull run too.

At the minimum level, we can expect bitcoin prices to test at least $10k levels within this year and if that will be happening, I believe we can mark this year also a good year for all the cryptos.

"Should we be expecting a bull run?" Yes, we should be expecting a bull run but the real question should be when? I don't think it will happen this year or next year. maybe on 2021 or 2022.

I don't think the  recent increase in the cryptocurrency market is a sign of bull market coming,  I think this trend have been common for a while in this bear market. Where the market will stabilize for a while, then increase a little (giving people hope of the bull run) and then the market will dump have hard to another low level.

I think the bull market will take quite some time before it occurs but once it occurs the market will increase more than the previous all time high and set records.

I think in 2019 we will all look forward to the bull run.

So far nothing is clear. While the price of Bitcoin is below $ 4,200, it’s groundless to talk about a global trend change. It is very likely that we will reach this level, push off from it and fly down reaching a new bottom. Essentially this will be a double top pattern.

Of course yes, we should expect the bull run,  the market has taken so much downwards, as this bull run starts,  there must or will be a reversal movement once more and then once there is retracement,  the upwards trend will continue until the market finally consolidates and move from there.

What I hope is that the market will recover and produce quality ICO, this year is very different from the previous year, now prices have dropped dramatically and are very difficult to rise. The previous year the price was relatively high and stable, my plan was not to trade because it was very risky and waited for the market to recover.
