How do you comfort yourself after receiving token from the bounty program?

In this difficult market, the value of tokens is reduced very low.
So, how do you console yourself?

I first:
I calculated the number of tokens I received, then multiplied by the ICO price, followed by multiplying it by the current ETH price.
As a result, I received the corresponding ETH.
I took the ETH multiplied peak rates ($1500- 2017) And I told myself if ETH peaks (2017), I will get a lot of $. Haha!

For example:
I received 1000 ABC token.
ABC token ico price: 0.2$
Total received: 1000 * 0.2$ = 200$
Current ETH price: 150$
So I will receive: 200/150 = 1.33E
If ETH = $1500 is like 2017, I will have 2000$. )

then multiply that $ to 10%...

Times are tough now considering the market condition. What you expect to earn will not reflect the actual earning because of several factors:
1. the market is bearish, which decrease the value of eth based tokens.
2. you got your coins late so the price dumped before you can exchange it to btc.
3. the project didn't reach hardcap (worst case)

Comfort yourself ? In other words you are refering to as treating your self ?  Well i dont usually sell my token after i recieved due to the fact that they dont have a market value yet .  i cant treat my self if that happens ,  but on some rare cases , the coins that i recieved are already listed and have a nice value  . what i do is that i sell them for quick bucks  and then ill buy some comfort foods . thats my own way of comforting myself from a tedious work on bounties .

You would only hurt yourself by computing the price of your reward by their ICO price.
Just accept the current price and move on if you believe in the project that you promote then hold it wait till it proves it's worth it would surely be pump if it is a good project.
There are plenty of crypto right now and there are still plenty of ICO so we should see how would they last ?
I am sure most of them would only be a shit coin in the future look for a project that have an active product .

Bounty rewards these days is just so discouraging and heart breaking. You see bounty allocation, make calculations on how long you are going to participate and the bounties you are going to participate on, then the reward looks so huge. After the whole bounty campaign and the reward comes, one is left regretting. Hahahaha.. The best thing is just to zero your mind on any outcome when you go into any Bounty, simple.

If it was 2017, there was no need to buy anything else. Ethereum itself was  enough for making money. Today there are alternatives to making money, but not the same as 2017. It was not as difficult as today to make profit.

I also calculate my rewards from bounty campaigns in Ethereum and as a 1 ETH price I set 1000USD  . Because it seems much better than only 130USD.

I will sell it right away when the coin is listing the market. that's how I am entertaining myself, after getting a bounty reward. calculating prices based on ICO only makes you disappointed because when on the market prices will never be the same. it's better to switch to better coins, like ethereum or bitcoin. this will be very good when the market rises later.

never think that when coin listings on large markets there will be a pump. because this won't come true. the reason you might already know why.

It all bothers on experience and what you want. Some people have grown past jumping into every bounty programme without due diligence. I have a friend that is mostly interested in Korean bounties because he believes the Korean Market have more learned individuals with cryptocurrency knowledge and thus don't dump coins indiscriminately and so far, he is right.

I am also the same as you, after getting the token from the bounty, I counted as a comparison and wanted to know how many ETH or BTC got.
Maybe everyone wants to feel the price of ETH and BTC like what they felt in 2017, where in that year ETH and BTC were very profitable.

Even though it's slow, there will be an increase in prices again.

Tokens, if their  price is good, part of them I'm selling. Although for me the main cumulative cryptocurrency are  ether, btc and eos.
