In the very near future we are planning to send the ADT logo and a aluminium wallet to space ( 30km+ up )

For this to happen we need to raise 5BTC ( Total cost 7btc but i will be putting 2BTC towards it )

To raise the 5BTC there will be 500 chances to get the aluminium wallet each chance will cost 0.01BTC

( in the event the project doesn't happen all funds will be refunded - the tx fee to send the coins back )

All you need to do is send a multiple of 0.01BTC and post the tx id on this thread or via pm  

I will be assigning numbers to each chance and the number will be picked by random.org by a 3rd party !

This is a quick description or what will happen during the launch >

This project consists on launching a Payload that has a GPS tracker and a Radio module inside, coupled with a pair of cameras and bunch of batteries. Tied to a big helium filled balloon that goes 30km or more up in the Sky taking photographs.

This type of artifacts is what is called HAB, or High Altitude Ballooning, a hobby extended mostly in the UK.

The Idea is simple, a big balloon filled with helium tied to a payload with a parachute, once the balloon burst the payload descends safely. Inside payload a tracker and radio module send position data. Cameras take photographs/video of all the journey.

There will be an online tracker, so everyone wherever they are will be able to track the payload and see the data it is transmitting (Altitude, position...)

The aluminium wallet will be provided by www.crypto-cards.com and in return they will be mentioned whenever the image of the card is used

do you guys think it would be better to do 500 chances at 0.01btc instead of 50 at 0.1 BTC ?

Possibly but we should get a move on.... the first crypto in space is quite historic i guess.

would be even more cool if it has some micro video camera to record it all.... i guess that is not technically quite so easy to do?

live broadcasting to some pod station so we could watch it?

You know what.... if you made it a lottery with 100, 000 000, adt first prize also that could be more fun and work out well... just a thought. I mean buying a lottery ticket to fund the project and possible win 100M adt sounds quite interesting to most.

Lottery tickets could be quite cheap too, even have the persons name stamped in the aluminium case

I think for this one having a chance to win the card that is used in this mission is a far better prize than 100 mill ADT as the card will be 1 of a kind

Yeah that is actually a lot....  yeah the aluminium card would be awesome .... i meant in addition to the aluminium wallet... hehe greedy i know.
Perhaps 10M adt?  of course funded by the lottery anyway.

I'm sure though yeah, having their name stamped on the aluminum casing of the first crypto in space is actually history right there. Certainly worth a lottery.

Depending on the odds could be a small entrance fee like 1 or 2 ltc.

Agree. Also insert exact instructions with BTC address and how to send it (description in tx etc...). Also probably open a fresh thread pointing to this one just to be sure people notice it.
