Time in crypto happen very fast, trends changed at lightning speed and, maybe, we will see a BNB on the second place soon instead of ETH.

Not sure about the second place but it mau surpass ripple in the future, i will very proud to see that consider if ripple is a crap coin dude.  Ethereum will still remain in the second place.

We don't need to argue much about this we already know that ETH is the king of altcoin onset, though litecoin is doing great this days but that one don't mean that litecoin has gain the position.

Ethereum not only is highest for marketcap among alts, it also is a pioneer of another generation of coins and a successful side chain platform and smart contracts. They are also one of the most decentralised coin and has one of the largest involvement.

Although I try to be very cautious with giving these titles, I suppose that Ethereum can be called the King of altcoins. This is the cryptocurrency that is the most popular one after Bitcoin, and millions choose it.

I will say ethereum, even though I don't hold any ethereum, I still think that's the strongest and most important altcoin on the market. But I see better trades in other coins than ethereum, that's why I don't hold any at the moment.

Enough with using the market cap as a point to prove why Crypto A is better than Crypto B. All I can tell you is, Bitconneeeeeeeeeect! Remember when they were top 5 in CMC by market cap?

Now, I do agree ETH is still #1, that's been a position it has had for a very long time now. It was the first among alts to make smart contracts famous and build DAPPS so everyone still remembers that.

Agree, ethereum is king of altcoins, I'm sure someday ethereum can beat bitcoin, from ethereum's daily transaction volume which continues to increase certainly a positive signal.

The king of cryptocurrency is Bitcoin. But who is the king of Altcoin?

The King of Altcoin who is ETH or Litecoin? I think ETH is the reason most are used in ETH at airdrop. And the price of the ETH is much higher than all other Altcoin. The number of users of ETH coins is also much higher. Litecoin also has a number of users then I think ETH coins are King of Altcoin. It is my personal opinion. You can give your opinion. I know there is many more good Altcoin but ETH is the best. I hope everyone will give feedback.

I think it's fair if ethereum is the new king of altcoins, most ITOs are based on ERC-20 so they only receive ethereum to buy tokens, besides that, there are more and more ERC-20 based exchanges with increasing transaction volumes.

the king of altcoin belongs to ethereum as of now.  ethereum enjoys the support of most projects and crypto enthusiasts.  however, ripple enjoys the support of several banks.  and once more and more banks begin using ripple blockchain, it may pose serious challenge to ethereum as king of altcoin.  there are also some altcoins that are promising and with more support coming in, they may also become dark horse in the altcoin kingdom.
