You provide a very detailed explanation and how DASH develops thoroughly, I really need information like this, and I'm getting interested. I haven't seen or I'm left behind by news about online goods sales with Dash? please give me information about that.

With cryptocurrency it is difficult to get specific sales numbers with regards to online goods or services because transactions dont classify themself like that on the blockchain.
What i can show you are two seperate sets of statistics, one about merchant adoption and one about number of transactions & payments :

Dash Merchant Adoption Info : https://discoverdash.com/stats/

Dash Transaction and Payment Info by diverse sources :

https://messari.io/onchainfx

With regards to Num Payments :

https://dashradar.com/charts/transactions-per-day (one day behind)

https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/dash-transactions.html (one day behind)

Unfortunetely we can not directly connect these two sets of statistics because either the information linking both statistics sets (Merchant Adoption Info & Transaction and Payment Info) does not exist yet or i have not come across it yet.
This goes for all cryptocurrencies, not just Dash. Just try googling "online goods sales with Bitcoin" and you get hit with the same problem.

DASH provides the users with high security as it has over 4500 servers which are hosted all over the world, that enables you to conduct the transaction instantly, from anywhere around the world. This feature gave DASH an edge over other cryptocurrencies. The launch of DASH evolution has made a huge difference, which is a mobile app designed to be user-friendly and has a scalable digital currency platform perfectly suitable for mass adoption. This will allow any user to set up an account on the blockchain, then eventually add contacts and pay them by name, even make one-click purchases through websites or mobile apps.

Dash Evolution has not been launched yet, its scheduled for later this year.
Two Dash versions will provide a base for Dash Evolution : Dash Core v0.13 (already on mainnet, a few sporks are waiting to get activated in early april) & Dash Core v0.14 (currently on testnet)
Once these two Dash versions are completely operational on mainnet, Dash Core v1.0 (Dash Evolution) can be launched, which will have :

Username based payments
Decentralized API (DAPI)
Decentralized Storage (Drive)
Development libraries and SDKs

Also a new wallet should be released simultaneously or shortly after Dash Core v1.0 release, called the DashPay Wallet MVP, which will provide Dash Evolution support on both Android phones and the Iphone.
The already existing wallets should also get an update by then.

I've been hearing about another platform similar to Dash called Elixxir but with its own unique consensus mechanism. Anyone else think they might be a strong competitor?

I've been hearing about another platform similar to Dash called Elixxir but with its own unique consensus mechanism. Anyone else think they might be a strong competitor?

https://elixxir.io/

I'm not sure i totally understand Elixxir yet, i have read up on it here : https://cryptocalibur.com/elixxir-ico-review/  but the whole "single honest node protects team consensus" seems a bit strange. I guess we just need to wait and see if this will work as promised.
There are however huge differences with Dash :

* Elixxir seem to be lacking a clear governance system (with Dash the masternodes vote over budget proposals and can poll the network on direction, not so with Elixxir and its nodes) and a clear budget system (with Dash 10% of each blockreward goes to a decentralized budget,
while Elixxir just seems to be getting launched as an ICO)
* Elixxir just needs 1 honest node to protect its network, Dash philosophy is that a majority of honest miners / masternodes will protect the network
* Elixxir so far i can tell has no compatability with Bitcoin, they will need to build and integrate from scratch and are at the moment in Alpha state, Dash has Bitcoin compatability to a degree which makes integration far more easy and Dash has a working product for 5 years already giving it a major headstart
* Elixxir seems focussed only on the payment industry, while Dash focusses also on additional services on its tiered network like decentralized datatype apps (Dapps), a decentralized API (DAPI) and making sure its software will be user friendly by using blockchain useraccounts and friend lists
* Elixxir seems super secretive at this moment and its unclear how much of its technology will be open-sourced, Dash has its current crypto project already opensourced and plans the same for future updates

If Elixxir turns out to be needing a launch as an ICO, i think they will have a hard time raising funds now that all the ICO hype has faded and investors in current market conditions will be extremely carefull what to invest in.

Dash Core Release v0.14.0 to testnet:
This release includes: Long Living Masternode Quorums (“LLMQs”), ChainLocks, and LLMQ-Based InstantSend.

https://blog.dash.org/product-brief-dash-core-release-v0-14-0-now-on-testnet-8f5f4ad45c96

Quote
Dash Core v0.14, recently introduced to testnet, is the next major delivery milestone for the Dash Core protocol. This release includes the following major features:

Long Living Masternode Quorums (“LLMQs”), which will increase scalability through improved consensus and expand the universe of potential use cases of the network;
LLMQ-based ChainLocks, which leverage LLMQs to improve network security by mitigating 51% mining attacks; and
LLMQ-based InstantSend, using LLMQs to reduce the messages propagated on the network for InstantSend transactions, which increases the scalability of InstantSend on the network.
(Note: LLMQ-based InstantSend may be released to mainnet in a minor release, after the first two features have been introduced.)
This release also includes some Bitcoin backports, legacy cleanup, and general optimizations. Full release notes will be available closer to the mainnet release.

This week at DCG
- v0.14 released to testnet (LLMQs, DKGs, ChainLocks, LLMQ based InstantSend)
- Completed initial security audit on the platform in preparation for open sourcing
- Successfully connected to DAPI and sent a payment from DashPay Wallet
- Code refactoring and Sweep Paper Wallet bug fix on DashWallet (Android)
- Began roll-out for DashWallet iOS v2.3.2 (empty wallet bug)

Today Bitcointalk.org forum introduced KYC requirements, in order to continue using this forum you have to submit certain information :

As you can see from my post today, the KYC information can be processed pretty quickly and should not really form a problem. The questions are pretty much standard and easy to answer.
If people do have problems with getting their KYC registered or are unsure how to proceed, you can contact the Dash Helpdesk here : https://support.dash.org/en/support/home

Best is to just address your questions to Ryan Tailor (CEO of Dash and Vice-President of Dash Nation) directly, he oversees the Dash Helpdesk and has a direct connection with the administrators
of Bitcointalk.org.

Dash is indeed developing well and this makes it more valuable, its steps in various exchanges add a lot of cooperation so that the positive impact will continue to flow.
The team is also very solid to continue guiding the community so that they remain on the coin and move forward with it, even though today there is KYC in bitcointalk, the team can still provide good and profitable offers.

Dash the anonymous coin introducing the centralized masternotes scam, feeding the parasites.
1st April, message pops up asking to sent all info, alright will do it, no props.
Smart is not requirement to be Dasher.
Lol and you need dash coin to be dasher. That's april mop and so many threads have already discussed that. theymos will always try to give us a new surprise in 1st april. I just feel doubt about is this a true story?
But so many people are interested only in the MN of dash. it's not scam as long as it still gives money.   Roll Eyes
