I read news some months ago, maybe in the early weeks of 2019, that DASH and Litecoin have partnered (I could be wrong), and been on the race to increase better private transactions.

I have heard nothing about a possible partnership and frankly it would surprise me as Dash and Litecoin are (to a degree) competing crypto projects with regards to payments.
What i could see happening is that Litecoin at some point introduce a form of privacy on their blockchain, but that could take awhile as from a development
point of view Litecoin became rather stagnant (not much happening code-wise and no major changes after Lightning Network got implemented on their blockchain awhile back).

The Voyager integration will enable trading of Dash against the USD, as well as commission free. In the announcement, Voyager discusses the many physical and online locations that accept Dash
as payments due to its lightning fast speeds and super low transaction costs.

Voyager currently offers retail and institutional trading, but is planning to enhance its institutional trading features with a partnership with Sterling Trading Tech. Voyager also recently announced a partnership
with Ledger, the hardware wallet company, to launch a custodial service.

Good to have them aboard, specially with their institutional trading connections

A community member (thank you, demo, for calling this to our attention) recently identified an issue with the current Dash Core v0.14 version that could have impacted
governance votes after the activation of DKG (Distributed Key Generation) and PoSe (Proof of Service). Basically, an attack vector was found wherein votes could be removed by
 performing a DoS attack on nodes. Please note that the current voting cycle is not susceptible to this issue since the DKG spork has not yet been activated.

The team has released a new version to address this issue. We ask all network operators to please update to Dash Core v0.14.0.1 as soon as possible. While this upgrade is not
mandatory for non-masternode owners, it is still recommended as nodes might otherwise observe local discrepancies in governance vote outcomes.

I dont do this often to people wearing the name "demo" (a certain multi-useraccount by the name of demo1 to demo17 has a bit of a history on dash.org/forum), but in this case he deserves it :

The one-week chart of DASH in BTC pair discloses that the coin has strong support in that pair at current price.  DASH/BTC chart is here. It is cleary to see that the coin has been in bottom, and might bounce back when it officially wake up from its double bottoms. When it happens, the coming point of DASH should be 0.032 BTC. In another pair, DASH/USD, the coin has moved up well, and next price range if DASH remains moving up in coming months might be around $250. It means if bitcoin remains its price stable and DASH rises in btc pair to nearly 0.032 BTC, the price of DASH might hit the range from $250 to $260. Why not?

A quick headsup with regards to update progress v0.14

Masternodes



Goal is for v0.14.0.1 to reach at least 50% and for v0.14.0.+v0.14.0.1 to reach at least 80%, after which the DKG spork can be activated.

DKG Spork Activation Criteria
Once at least 50% of masternode owners have updated to Dash Core v0.14.0.1 and 80% of masternode owners have updated to at least the Dash Core v0.14.0.0 version,
we plan to activate the DKG spork. At that time, LLMQs will begin forming and PoSe scoring will occur.

Miners



Goal is to get miners to signal support for v0.14 blocks and get that support to 80%, after which DIP8 gets locked-in. That support in the form of a stable 80% did not materialize in the first window of 4032 blocks,
so we now entered the second window of 4032 blocks / 7 days. Lets see if miners can get support to a stable 80% in this second window of 4032 blocks (which will end with block 1,084,608).

From the chart above, it is clearly the percentage of DASH miners supported have been very stable around 65% over weeks. 80% is not too far from the last hour rocket at 75% with v0.14.0 blocks. In addition, the current period of DASH reminds me about what occured with bitcoin back in 2017. What happened with Bitcoin after that is fabulous strike and we all remembered that. I meant, when things done, DASH supporters will have very sweet gifts from their works and their supports. Current period will be one of the most important one in history of DASH and I am very happy to be one of witnesses.

It is fastly out of my expectations, honestly. However, it is good to see 100%, beyond the minimum threshold that we need at 80%. The point is we need to see the percentage maintains stable in the 7-day window. The interesting point is when pools upgraded, it is hard to see them to move backwards. So, recent hours signals are good for coming important upgrade of DASH. Let's go.

How Dash Works

Peer-to-peer digital currency differs from traditional money in that there is no central authority responsible for monitoring supply and authenticity.

There is no DASH coin, DASH means Digital Cash. I suggest you to call the coin with its exact name. DASH is DASH, and please don't make people confuse by calling the coin as DASH coin. You can agree or disagree with me, but you should spend a second to see titles of the topic and the ANN topic of the coin: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency. Both of them don't use the term DASH coin. Furthermore, coinmarketcap.com, or official website are other sources that only use the term DASH. Please correct your mistakes.

With PoSe penalty in effect, there are currently 151 masternodes that have received a PoSe penalty.
Most of these PoSe penalties seem directly related to masternodes running an older version (v13 instead of v14).

To all masternode owners : check your masternode on dashninja.pl to see if it received such a penalty. If your masternode
is receiving a PoSe penalty, then fix this as soon as possible before you get PoSe banned !!
