Mexican Exchange Cubobit Adds Dash Enabling Key Remittance Corridor



Mexican exchange Cubobit has added Dash/peso trading pairs, facilitating using Dash for remittances in one of the world’s largest corridors.

According to Dash Core CEO Ryan Taylor, the addition to a fiat/Dash trading pair in Mexico is an essential part of Dash’s growth as a remittance option in the region:

“Having a Mexican to Dash fiat pair is fundamental to our growth strategy in Latin America, as this will enable a cash-out option for remittances sent from the US, and a cash-in option
for remittances sent to other destinations such as Venezuela, so we are really happy to enable that option through our Cubobit partnership.”

Cryptocurrency Exchange Bitoffer Adds Dash With InstantSend Support



Hong Kong-based exchange BitOffer will be integrating Dash with a BTC, ETH, and USDT pairs in addition to Dash deposits and withdrawals.

BitOffer is available in over 100 countries and has over 100,000 users in total. BitOffer currently offers “the unique functions of price alert” and “ROI ranking for investments”
and plan to soon offer “the development of Crypto ETF, STO service, on-chain token issue and settlements” in addition to digital asset custody.

Dash’s Ryan Taylor: Blockstream Transitioning Bitcoin From P2P Cash to Digital Gold



According to Dash Core’s CEO Ryan Taylor, Blockstream has succeeded in changing Bitcoin from its original goal of peer-to-peer digital cash.

During a recent Twitter exchange, Adam Back, Bitcoin Core developer and CEO of off-chain Bitcoin solution company Blockstream, presented a precious metals analogy for Bitcoin,
insinuating that scheduled reductions in the supply increase, or halvings, have an effect on price increases.

I'm checking if any Dash stress test is going on, that causes this spike ... stay tuned.

Note : bitinfocharts only shows transaction data till yesterday, so i'm not sure this spike is still here today.

Its still a bit of a mystery to me.

Edit : According to a post on Reddit this seems the work of an unknown identity performing a serious stress test. Pretty much nobody knows who is stress testing
the living daylights out of our Dash network, but the Dash network itself is holding up pretty well.
