It is a pity that it happens this way. Just learn from this mistake and be careful so that next time you will not make such mistake again. The truth is that you have lost the money. It is already in the blockchain and it is very difficult to know who has the wallet the money was sent to.

just hope that you could be able to contact the receiver and also hope that he is kind enough to give your money back.
There is very little chance of being able to contact the receiver. Cryptocurrency wallets are designed for user privacy and anonymity. And there is no Central authority to contact as would have been the case should this have been a fiat transaction. Learning from the mistake moving forward and finding out the root cause, if it was a bug or malware to ensure it doesn't happen again.

I noticed several people are advising OP to contact with the receiver. Truth is how would he contact him or her. It is 100% possible that the receiver may not know how this balance came to his address. If the person realize that it's a mistake by someone and if he is honest enough then may be he can return the balance but that will be once in a billion times chance. The money is gone. And I see OP accepted it. I don't believe I'm infected with a virus because the address didn't change and my malware software isn't finding anything. In my opinion I was using ChipMixer before I sent the bitcoin and I probably miscopied an address or misclicked or something idk. I guess its gone but its a valuable lesson, thanks for the help.
It is always advisable that double check the sending address, always do this double checking before sending your coins.

As far as I know, if you sent bitcoin to someone (wrong address) you could not get your bitcoin back unless you know the owner of that address and ask him to send it back.
CMIIW
Yes, transactions are irreversible and there's no way to take it back unless you know the receiver and he's too generous enough to send it back which I highly doubt he will do. Sorry for your loss OP but it's either you have been a victim of; I don't believe I'm infected with a virus because the address didn't change and my malware software isn't finding anything. In my opinion I was using ChipMixer before I sent the bitcoin and I probably miscopied an address or misclicked or something idk. I guess its gone but its a valuable lesson, thanks for the help.
So it's more of a human error. You can also try to scan your PC for your sake. Next time before sending to an address, verify and check it many times before pressing the send button.

All 4 of those addresses belong to me, I was using electrum, and I was trying to send the balance to an online market.
If the balance of your account on that online market doesn't reflect to the balance you sent, then that's confirmed that your funds are lost and was sent to stranger's address. The only thing you can do now is, to start over and make this incident as a lesson. Try to make a hobby of checking the receiving address carefully, from pasting it first to a notepad or somewhere else before pasting it on the receiving address field of the wallet. Check the first and last 5 characters of the address or much better if check all the characters of the address before sending.

I was trying to transfer my Bitcoin and for some reason my Bitcoin was sent to the wrong address, I just started to use bitcoin recently and now i'm suck on how to get my money back. The transaction ID is (0d2ab7e318058c36f10ad06c26b79ebde8ea532551f78d9150759e591a3a674e) and it was sent to this address (bc1qy4jleyqse9jka39296vzn6ykx7hk3mh63zpwvl) which I did not create nor facilitate which confuses me the most. Please help me if possible thanks. Bitcoin transactions are final and irreversible, therefore always triple check before making a payment. If you are a victim of malware, you should be aware that using insecure OSes like Windows will lead you to money loss. If you were waiting for an excuse, now is the time you take Linux seriously. Separate your tasks physically, the serious things like banking and money handling, should always be done in a safe environment, this can be achieved by booting a live Linux iso (such as Tails) or having an older dedicated computer for such tasks. Securing windows is much harder than using Linux for mundane tasks such as web browsing banks and bitcoin handling. You could keep your windows cleaner by purchasing anti malware software which would in turn make it slower than it already is, but there is still a chance a new undiscovered malware infects you and steals your money anyway. Lower your chances of getting infected and switch to Linux today.

Crypto has big risks. The inability to return the transaction, if you sent the funds to the wrong wallet, it is certainly very bad. But in General, this is the reverse side of decentralization. Therefore, if you cant contact the owner of the purse, you can forget about your money. Next time, check all addresses very carefully.

There's just no way that you could get that funds again mate. The blockchain is built this way. You should be careful next time in sending funds. Or probably some virus somehow got into your computer. If I were you, I would scan my whole computer and change passwords.

I don't know how to reverse the bitcoin transaction. the way transactions in bitcoin rely on users without any help from third party systems. when you make a mistake there is no way to turning back. the easiest way is to contact the owner of the address to return your money.if you don't know who the recipient is you have to give it up.

I agree with the others, and also agree that this should be a lesson, albeit expensive. Always double check the addresses you are sending to, and if possible use QR codes and perhaps even a hardware wallet for extra security. This is one of the downsides of blockchain technology - transactions are irreversible.

If you have no idea whose address that is, then your device might be infected with malware or virus. There are some of this which changes what you copied into their own wallet address so they get to steal your funds while others records what you type and copy. By the way I checked the address bc1qy4jleyqse9jka39296vzn6ykx7hk3mh63zpwvl and that it is receiving funds from 4 addresses. Are those all your addresses? Or which one is yours? And what wallet or exchange where you using and where were you trying to send them? All 4 of those addresses belong to me, I was using electrum, and I was trying to send the balance to an online market. Did Electrum ask you for any updates when you tried to send your funds? If it did, then you have been a victim of the latest exploit in Electrum. https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@kingscrown/important-do-not-use-electrum-for-now-huge-exploit-foundThere are some "infected" servers that force you to install a fake update of Electrum and when you try to send bitcoins, it captures your password and then they send bitcoins to their own Bitcoin address. Warnings have been posted everywhere, cannot believe you missed it.

You could be the victim of the copy-and-paste malware that has been spreading since 2017 or much earlier. I'm sorry since bitcoin transaction is irreversible, so there's no way for you to get it back. At least you learn another important lessons here to always, check many times specially the receiver address. You may also want to scan your devices for that malware and removed it, otherwise it will happen again.

Are you sure that you are not infected? Usually, these things are hidden within your file systems and your operating system. Do a deep scan and try again. It is possible that your clipboard is messed up by the malware that you "thought" you send to the right address when in reality, you didn't, and the next thing is we're having a discussion about it. Or just like what Kakmakr said, you may have installed a fake update on Electrum, but the exploit has since been patched so that may be ruled out. Funds are lost forever. That sucks, but yeah, a lesson with some price on it.

The question is where did the other address came from?, if it is not set by you, it must be set by another person, I mean hacked your device. do a system check and clean the malwares. I suppose your funds are gone by now.

As far as I know many users have made such mistake, at least once. Usually they don't check the address which is a crucial mistake. Even if you copy it or scan through QR code you should check it. Since Bitcoin transactions are irreversible you can't get your money back unless someone from that wrong address returns Bitcoin to you. Which I doubt. So, learn from that mistake.

You have send the bitcoin to the wrong address, so it means that whose bitcoins are lost and there is no way to recover them. This is one drawback of bitcoins and if it sent to wrong address we cannot get it back and also cannot claim it. It is our responsibility to check the address twice before sending Bitcoins to it.

I agree with others that it's probably some malware. Try to scan your devices, access your wallet from a different device to improve security of the wallet perhaps (if you are using blockchain.info, for instance, you can change the password). The money is still in that wallet, and since you don't know the owner, there is nothing you can do to get it back. Well, you could try writing posts on forums, asking the owner to send the money back, of course, but I don't think it is going to work. You lost 80 dollars at most, it could have been way more than that, so it's a valuable lesson.
good thing that the money is not that much but still something to regret a lil bit. at least he noticed it early so he can rectify it immediately and check for possible malware on his devices. but i doubt getting his money back even he post it on forums. if that person has ill intentions in the first place, then it is expected that there's no returning of that money. also, it is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Uh-oh. Be careful next time mate. The lost fund isnt comming back anymore and regarding to those comments above, it seems that you either have virus or you clicked some phishing link. Better clean up your drive now to avoid further missing bitcoins. Maybe he is still up to your funds.
