Same as you I truly believe in abilities of bitcoin, it has been rising and falling since long, but it never remains down or remain high forever, if the price falls it means we should buy some coin at low price if the price rises then we can sell the same at higher price, so I trust the abilities of bitcoin it is the most promising investment at the moment.

However, I will like to know the promising aspect of Bitcoin presently, is it in terms of buying now to hold for a long-term or trading.

I bought when it was quite high, although I still believe in Bitcoin rising but I’m interested in knowing what I can be doing with the coin now that the market is down  pending the time it increases. Is there possibility of making money from Bitcoin this time that it is down or the only hope is to wait for the future? Just curious.

The value of BTC fluctuates not only based on the demand of the currency it also depends on the external issues as well, bad news or frauds around the world. If it only depended on the demand then it would probably reach the highest positions

Bitcoin is not about blind trust, it is not a Ponzi. It is about real-world utility as this is what counts at the end of the day. You may trust Bitcoin or you may distrust it (or whatever), but if it does its job damn well, you will be using it just because it fits your purpose. If it were only about true believers, Bitcoin would still be in single digits (likely after the decimal point). People can get richer only if they start using Bitcoin in real life. I believe in Bitcoin too and I'm one of the old members and I have also been around for long now without quitting for once. But one thing for sure is that everyone has interest of making money and if it's not paying, they are definitely going to call it a quit. Same thing as me, if I'm investing in this and it is not paying, I'm going to quit from it, because I didn't come here just to be losing my money alone.

The crypto community has grown huge, I believe, but like I said it still doesn't change anything. You still see people who are complaining and there are also people who keeps on quitting everyday. The community has grown to a bigger number cause the price rate last ten years is not the same right now. But if you check, it's mostly traders that are holding it up. No one is ready to make normal use of it.

I don't think that is the usual move of an investor.

I don't know if that is really true that there are investors like that. They are quick in investing in the quick-moving price of Bitcoin never thinking that it might dump in the next few hours or days. When they are seeing red all over the charts, they regret it and sell immediately. If they are, I think they should not invest. They should've analyzed and planned it before laying their money on investing in cryptos.

Hey as a true bitcoiner I don’t expect bitcoin alone to create magic in my life, because alone it can’t we need to be wise and buy at every dips and then sell at the right prices for profits. I keep on saying to all hodl your coins for the long term, there maybe few fluctuations in the short term but we all will be rewarded in the long term. Also one important thing I stress on is to do your own due diligence, and not fall for the mainstream media false catchy headlines and end up making rash decisions.

I think we now become a true believer of bitcoin because many of us still hope that bitcoin will get high soon, so we still hold the bitcoin until now. We believe that bitcoin will be at the highest price again and although we don't know when the time, we still believe that. I guess that people still also believe because they see what is happen in 2017-2018 and they are sure that bitcoin can reach those price again soon.

I can't agree more. Bitcoin is not created to solved most of people's financial problems. But it can help them, that is if they know how to make profits out of this bear market so that they can enjoy financial freedom in their life. Do your homework, make a good trading plan execute it and don't fall for FUD.

I think that the average bitcoin believer isn't very rich.
Having many btc believers won't automatically increase the btc price,because of what I call "the HODLer effect".Many people have bought btc in the past and they just HODL.They aren't participating actively in the market,thus the price isn't going up,because nobody is buying more btc.

I somehow agree, especially now that the value of cryptocurrencies are always in the verge of of losing up to such a point that most people think negatively about what will happen. However, as a true believer, something that I do not even try to convince others about is the belief that cryptocurrencies would always recover and always try to increase and fight it out. It has been that way since, so even if the value has always been dwindling and has kept of going a more stable route. I think that goes to show how the market with the help of the community always goes out its way to help the coin recuperate.

It funny how people make things look as if Bitcoin was stagnant in the past. They pretend as if they don't know why Bitcoin stopped growing so fast. Where do they want users/mass adoption to come from when One of the main thing that made us unique has been taken away. I am a true believer whether it is profitable or not. It is a great technology.
