How about a hardware wallet Trezor or Ledger closed in Bank safety deposit box . I think when it comes to money, it is hard to trust anyone and not even our most trusted relatives or friends can be trusted. The only person whom you can trust is yourself and you should be mature enough to save your holding yourself, rather than looking for people who can keep your money save.

That is what I doing as well but with TRX. It give me the possibility of freezing them which lasts 3 days so after 3 days I have forgotten my need to gamble.
Steem gives more time to have them locked, I believe that 12 weeks are too much but it is a good strategy to follow if you want not to be addicted to gambling games.

You’re lucky with your friends and I do hope to found a friend like that. I just can’t afford to trust anyone with my money, but in gambling its good to save some of your profit and sending it to someone you trusted that much. The excitement should still be there since you gamble to have fun, but you must also focus on your goal.
