Mib coin is the only real phone mining crypto. Very profitable and can only be mined by phone.
Also saw this topic! But not quite sure what mibcoin mining only phones and mines into whether it at all! This is real mining. Works only on phones. At least I didn't get to run mining on Android emulators. Tested on several emulators. But to make a big profit, you need to engage in mining on dozens of phones. So this coin is only for those who have the opportunity. If you really want to try then you can get some cheap androids (usually $20-$30) from walmart or on other markets during sells. However you need to make sure if this coin have any future worth investing into otherwise you will be just wasting your time. Well, I had this thought. However, I'm not sure it's worth investing in buying old phones for this. I think it's just an interesting way of mining. But if someone already has a lot of unnecessary phones, then this is a good way to use them. As long as there are almost non coins that can be mined exclusively on smart phones, I'd say it doesn't make sense to buy new phones just for the sake of mining with them. So far there is only this MIB. What would be if, for any reason, the development for that project gets discontinued? You wouldn't have any chance to get your investment back by mining something different on your phones.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Perhaps this is still a more stupid idea, it would be like creating mining on a smart watch or a refrigerator. In principle, this is feasible, but most importantly - why?
no one will use this method of mining. but who knows, maybe after a while, mobile devices will catch up with such powerful computers because the technology and progress do not stand still.

Nope. even on a low or medium spec computer. Small miners get thrown out easily at the blockchain mining competition. Those chinese were selling their old mining rigs for more high spec ones. Even if you do, it is not really profitable. Either mining is for big guys or guys with big cash and pockets. It is really SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST OUT THERE!

Yes, I agree that buying phones for this will be risky. But if you already have phones, it makes sense. Here is to example, I launched mining on Samsung with chip Exynos7870, he gives ~140-160 KH/s. In one hour it gives ~0.8 MIB. If the phone will work while you sleep, for example 8 hours, you will get 6.4 MIB, that is about $0.12. In this case, the cost of electricity can be considered equal to 0. And if someone has 10 such unnecessary phones, and he will be engaged in mining continuously, then in a week he will receive about ~$27.

It's easier to sell these phones on the secondary market and not kill them on obscure coins!

Are there refrigerators with cpu's now. LOL! What about my old ps3, would that be able to mine with some custom softmod or something? Not sure it would give much of a hashrate though

There's no way to mine bitcoins using an android phone if I am not mistaken Electroneum can be mine using their app which I think is not also profitable because you will just end up losing your phone because of using it.

There is an existing App which simulates the mining of Electronium (for example) or which is doing real mining for example for MIB coin. As the mobile should be charged all the time use only that mobile you will not miss if it goes wrong.

I admit that imitation mining is possible, but real mining on a mobile phone is nonsense. Who needs this power? Farm video cards can not resist Asic, and you are talking about smartphones ...

Yes, but you dont take into account the time spent on it. Time is a more valuable resource, as it is unrecoverable. Is it worth spending time on it? Mining on phones, televisions and hair dryers is something like a marketing trick whose goal is to draw attention (to products or mining and so on).

Simulation of mining Electroneum this is the kind of airdrop. This is done precisely to attract attention and increase the number of users.

I don't know if you can mine bitcoin or major altcoin on Android, but if I'm not wrong you can mining some altcoin One of them is Electroneum, you can mine it from your Android phone. I don't know about the profit and calculation, but if you want to try, you can go with that You can search on Google the tutorial to mine Etn.

There are very few apps that can mine with the android OS. But I must warn you, mining is not profitable via PCs let alone Android phones

electronium is the only choice to mine in your android and when someone was trying to mine bitcoin with phone and believe my that phone will have exploded instantly without any notice. That just another nonsense idea to mine bitcoin using a phone. That's a big joke.

Those apps that tells you can mine with bitcoin are fake, there's no way to mine bitcoin through a mobile app (iOS or android). Don't believe such apps that are existing on app/play stores. You can mine with altcoins but the reward won't be that much unlike mining through GPU. If you want to mine bitcoin, you need powerful machine, ASICs miners.

Majority of newbies learnt bitcoin, ltc, doge and Ethereum can be mined using an android phone but it's a farce. What is obtainable is through cloud mining system through a faucet that is mostly useless. The best bet is to get any good antminer version and begin, of you have cheap and stable electricity

I think the bitcoin mining application that you mean is already available in the PlayStore. but I advise you not to do that on your Smartphone, because this will torment it, or even damage your Smartphone. and your mining results will not be enough to get an equivalent Smartphone.
