With recent happenings in crypto currency regarding token sale,
i think icos are beginning to find their feet because binance conducting the crowdfunding event for BitTorrent and Fetch.AI has raised the hyped again.

And now, Bittrex has also announced a crowdfunding event too, an IEO, 


so can you give your opinion on whether IEO or ICO will survive on the long run

In my opinion the IEO will last in the long run. because the IEO or ICO is able to compete with other parties. indeed Bittrex and Binance have done crowdfunding, but the IEO is still able to survive by producing good concepts later.

ICO and IEO are almost the same. I think IEO is more interesting for developers, project owner and investors. However, it is important not to write off ICO.

IEO is more interesting not for all.

Not fo all devs and owners, because not every project has enough money to pay for listing on exchange.
Not for all investors, bacuse only the holder of a verified account on the exchange can participate in IEO, and not anyone who wishes.

They are verified and usually ICO has lots of problems getting to a reputable exchange, well of course it benefit project owners and exchanges to most (due to many internal negotiation going on) still there's lesser chance for you to get SCAMMED immediately, in my opinon IEO is better against normal ICOs as there's less work and tokens launched are guaranteed with some good volume early

We see the demand for Initial Exchange Offerings growing very fast. It’s a way better vehicle and efficient vehicle than ICOs, at least that’s the general sentiment at the time. It seems like a natural direction where the market is evolving

When people looks boring and lost confident invested at ICO because most of investors has been lost their money during investing at ICO and IEO was appears and i heard last time IEO coin such as BNB or binance coin had good demand so possibly other popular exchange will so motivated with the successfully of BNB and created their own coins such as bittrex will do or maybe on 2019 could be happend the year of IEO

I think same thing will happen with IEOs in long term. In the starting everything seems good but we can not say IEOs will be very successful in future too. We can not judge the success of IEOs on the basis of BitTorrent and Fetch successful event by Binance. I believe ICOs will also remain here they will again get momentum. Bittrex anounced too an IEO but I think that event has been already cancelled If I am correct. I believe ICOs will survive in the long run as compare to the IEOs.

It seems to me that both parties have the right to exist. You can not say exactly what is the best. We can only assume that IEO will last longer, as I personally have more confidence in this.

Eventually,  initial exchange offering (IEO) has proven to become the best and successful option for most start-ups. It has shown that people easily Trust an IEO because it is linked to a respected body. Not that they totally Trust the project but because they believe in the exchange which launched the start up. if projects that went through IEO becomes successful and have great liquidity,  then people will turn to it as the best option

Not much can be said about long term as the Cryptos ecosystem is evolving rapidly. Initial exchange offerings are showing signs of better results since it removes the fear of whether or not the tokens will eventually be listed and investors do not have to wait for longer period before they can liquidate their tokens.It also thrives on the reputation of the exchange which give another layer of security or integrity to the project.I think the model is nice at the moment

I hope that IEO will totally eliminate fake ICOs and fake teams which last year and 2017 are very rampant on scamming many new investors that resulting huge amount of money out into crypto space and many moving into new kind of investment opportunity other than ICO but the current success of this IEO depends on every exchanges with huge volumes and popularity like Binance and its proven very effective other IEO I can see took days/months to succeed if the exchange is not too big and has limited volume one advantage I can see in an IEO is that investors are not worried in exchange listings as it is usually listed in this exchanges after the IEO unlike in ICO many investors waiting for months just to list tokens on a very low volume exchange or in DEX for free listings.

IEO is more promising than ICOs. Many ICOs scam in 2018 and thats make investor confident drop. IEO offering big liquidity from exchanger member and provide certainty to investors about listings on exchangers. Big exchanger following binance step and i think IEO will more attractive in near future

That we will have to see, these projects are verified but after the crowdfunding, they have no control if the developers will develop their platform and follow their roadmap, investors are just excited to be in IEO because this is an alternative investment because they are too tired of seeing a lot of scammed ICO.

In my opinion the IEO will last in the long run. because the IEO or ICO is able to compete with other parties. indeed Bittrex and Binance have done crowdfunding, but the IEO is still able to survive by producing good concepts later.

IEO is a combination between an ico with exchange site, ico will always exist and that will exist in the future, basically IEO is the same as ico but exchange site makes it a little bit different that a usual independent ico
