I have received a negative trust from Vod who seems to have skipped over these facts

OK, if you would like to point out your facts here, number them in chronological order, I will take (another?) look at them.

Not sure why my post earlier which clearly points out my non-intention to sell the domain quite clearly was not enough. But sure, when I get a spare hour I will make a chronological & referenced post for you.
Thanks.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Here is my record of events.

On March 13th, I posted a loan request to make value out of my stagnant/unproductive assets, being a BuySellAds account and Domain. [/b][/size]
I heavily explained the value & liquidity of the collateral, in the unlikely event of default, for a lender to consider. I did this not only because I knew that usually this section uses altcoins rather than assets for collateral, but also to ensure the security of my loan. I had hoped by doing this I would increase the chances and save communication time of both parties by providing all possible information.

Description
I have been seeking to enter multiple private opportunities in the past which have paid off spectacularly but unfortunately had missed the boat due to lack of funding. I am not looking to make the same mistake in the coming months, therefor I am searching for a 3 month collateralized loan using some valuable assets I have stored over the years, allowing me to take advantage of both crypto and offline upcoming opportunities to their fullest potential.

Amount Requested: 2 BTC // $7.7k USD~

Duration: maximum 3 months, expected 45-60 days.

Interest Offered: 2.5% (0.05 BTC) per month

Collateral: 2.47 BTC~ / $9.5k USD~ minimum liquid value.

Collateral Breakdown:
The values estimated below are the bare minimum value for the accounts and in the unexpected case of liquidation, would be quite easy to liquidate.

1. BuySellAds.com Advertiser Account - minimum $6300 USD Value (1.64 BTC~)
BSA Advertiser accont loaded with $7k USD ads balance.
I loaded the account with BTC around some time ago, there is no credit card linked nor any identity. I was originally saving it for any high potential projects worth promoting but as the market took a turn for the worse, I have not yet had the opportunity to use the balance. The balance is not able to be directly withdrawn from the account, though should not be an issue to liquidate here in the form of directly selling the account, or proxy selling ads with/without a discount.
This account would sell a lot faster on any affiliate community forum such as warriorforum, stackthatmoney etc. with a 5-10% discount from the balance hence the estimation. 10% discount being the most one would have to offer to sell the account or proxy sell campaigns.

Taking over the account requires no verification or risk of closure. Proof that I am the original owner is of course available.

2. high level domain - minimum $2000 USD value (0.52 BTC~)
I have absolutely no doubt this domain could be liquidated for $2000 USD at the very minimum.
I have asked Subjot, a high level domain seller here on the forum, who has verified the domain is worth easily $X,XXX. He did not give me an exact figure, but confirmed the value was fair with his comments. If any lender would like to PM him to confirm this, be my guest!

Both of these estimations would unlikely take into account the extremely high value niche market for crypto dice.

3. My BCT account (if needed) - $500 USD additional security (0.13 BTC~)
This account is connected with some my personal & business associates so I would prefer not to add this as collateral, but if required to acquire the loan, it can be arranged as I have full confidence of being able to repay.

4. 5 Ethereum [ETH] (0.18 BTC~)
As insurance to cover any potential fluctuation in values listed above in the event the assets may have to be liquidated. Additionally may grow in value overtime.

Notes:
- Lending terms are slightly flexible.
- Unless you are a veritably trusted user on this forum, all collateral must be held with a trusted bitcointalk escrow to ensure their security during the loan.

Thank you

On March 14th, I had decided to take offers on the domain to:
1. More accurately valuate the domain
...
I am currently taking offers for the domain. I am not guaranteeing the sale of this domain[/b], but I am taking offers from serious buyers only.
...
2. See if I could get the price I believed the domain was worth
Would you consider selling your domain right now to me for $1,000? Just wondering.
Multiply your offer by about 20, maybe we can talk.
....

In the same post, I made it clear of my intentions:
To be perfectly clear, my goal here is not to liquidate these assets, it is to allow me access and potentially profit from the value of these currently stagnant assets, instead of having them sit there collecting dust (doing nothing).

On March 23rd StackGambler was no longer interested in buying the domain for a matter completely unrelated to its value.
Loan amount: 0.2 BTC
Time period: 2 weeks
Collateral: BitcoinTalk Account (signed message available on request) + Domain both items escrowed by Darkstar_, I will deduct the escrow fee from the loan amount (I will pay the escrow fee)
Reason for loan (optional): Short-term increase for trading capital, multiple profitable opportunities I am looking to take advantage of.
Repayment: 0.21 BTC (5%) ... Negotiable.

Denied. The collateral is invalid. I probably would take it, but I'm not sure if it's a wise move to, seeing that it would be very hard to liquidate that domain and account. I also think sellinga accounts is against the TOS. Good luck with your loan, though. I'm very sorry that I couldn't help.

Ok...Out of curiosity, what has changed since these posts?

Would you consider selling your domain right now to me for $1,000? Just wondering.
After some thinking, I've decided that I will offer you a loan of 0.1 BTC for 0.11 back in 2 months, with your bitcointalk account as collateral .....

Good question. Nothing personal at all, I'd still value the domain at about the same, it's just that I lost a ton of money recently. You can watch my video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WkPEuNEUIk
Sorry to hear. Good luck getting back on track.

A few days had past and I had just about given up on the collateral loan avenue and looked to sell instead:

On March 27, I  closed the lending thread since I no longer wanted a loan but rather wanted to sell for $1500 USD (as referenced above)
doesn't look like this is going through, left no choice but to sell: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5125019.msg50332390#msg50332390
price negotiable.
Thank you

On March 27, I created a sale thread for $1500 USD for the domain, after experiencing that no one was willing to fill the $1000 loan, while still believing in the domains value:
Domain
Price: $1500 USD
Registrar: Namecheap
Registered since: 14 August 2018

Perfect if you are looking to run your own  site in the near future, or looking to barter with a planned or upcoming casino.

Darkstar_ can escrow the sale. I'll pay the fees.

Price slightly negotiable.

I would like to hear your judgement so I can see what exactly I did here that deemed me from a normal trader to an untrustworthy trader. I do believe there has been a confusion with dates that has factored into your trust rating but of course I can not know for sure.

Thank you

I still have an interest in this one but what will the 0.125BTC go into funding? Perhaps we could create some sort of partnership instead if darkstar_ is certain he can keep hold of the domain.

Here is my record of events. I have linked most of my statements to un-edited posts for referenced.
~
On March 14th, I had decided to take offers on the diced.io domain to:

This is a problem.  Even if you're communication was clear, you didn't edit your OP.  You were looking for a loan with Diced.io as collateral, while simultaneously asking for offers to sell it outright.  I noticed this at the time, but I didn't think you were trying to pull a fast one.

Thank you

That's another issue.  You didn't lock the thread.  Again, I noticed this discrepancy, and thought that it could lead to trouble.  I almost warned you about, I don't remember what distracted me or why I chose not to.

On March 27, I created a sale thread for $1500 USD for the diced.io domain, after experiencing that no one was willing to fill the $1000 loan, while still believing in the domains value:
Domain: diced.io
Price: $1500 USD
Registrar: Namecheap
Registered since: 14 August 2018
Godaddy Estimation: $992 USD
Freevaluator.com Estimation: $6800 USD

Perfect if you are looking to run your own dice site in the near future, or looking to barter with a planned or upcoming casino.

Darkstar_ can escrow the sale. I'll pay the fees.

Price slightly negotiable.

The time stamp on your posts show that you posted the sale ad before you posted the notice in your loan thread.  And again, you didn't lock your loan thread after changing your strategy.

I would like to hear your judgement so I can see what exactly I did here that deemed me from a normal trader to an untrustworthy trader. I do believe there has been a confusion with dates that has factored into your trust rating but of course I can not know for sure.

Thank you

Once again, I didn't think you were up to anything nefarious.  But, you were bouncing different strategies around the forum, being indecisive.  I think the thing that got you tagged was the fact that you neglected to lock the thread with your loan request after posting that you were looking for offers to sell the domain.

I didn't tag you, but I can see why Vod did.  It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities to put up that domain as collateral and then skip out on the loan.  To be honest I have no idea what makes anyone think that domain is worth what you claim, but I'm no expert.  None the less, I view your request as quite risky, and would not lend you the amount you requested based on the collateral you offered.

For anything of value that can potentially be used as collateral: there will always be a price at which the owner is going to be willing to give it up for. There is not anything that someone wouldn’t be willing to part with no matter the price.

I don’t think it is unreasonable for the owner of something valuable to want to explore selling their property, even if they are using it as collateral for a loan. Nor should it be unreasonable for a borrower to use the proceeds from the sale of the collateral to repay the loan (although the lender or escrow will need to have control of the collateral until the loan is repaid).

It is up to the lender to do their own due diligence to ensure what they are accepting as collateral is sufficiently valuable to cover the loan in case the borrower doesn’t repay (no matter the reason).

I have my doubts as to the value of the domain being offered, but I am not an expert, and this is ultimately up to a potential lender to decide.

Thank you Vod for removing your negative trust, I appreciate it.

I am now in contact with @jackg regarding this loan.
