No doubt,Euro 2020 competition was more intensive and severe than the cops America because the way big teams were knocked out of the competition is something no one expected.Seeing Italy win the tournament is something that look like a shock to many people because we have teams like Germany,Belgium being knocked out of the tournament by the teams we never expected.Unarguably,all the teams that qualified for the tournament were ready and fully prepared to go far in the tournament,which added more intensity and cohesion as you said to the game.

A lot of upsets happened this time with the Euro championship. Before the tournament started, England, Germany and France were the favorites if we do by the betting odds (Italy was not among the top 3). And out of these three, only England managed to reach the quarter finals. Germany was unfortunate, since their PQF match was against England. Well.. it may be wrong to compare Euro with Copa America. The European and Latin American teams have different playing style and both have their own advantages and disadvantages.

This season I would like to say that the fate of France is the worst. The 11 players on their team all played great. They were a very stable team. Yet they fail to perform well only due to lack of coordination of players. On the other hand, Italy has formed a stable team. The bonding of the players with each other is very good.
Copa America teams like dribbling very much, they hold the ball more. On the other hand, Euro's teams play attacking football. We see a lot of attacks in their matches.

For FIFA, the most important factor in the whole story is money and we should all be aware of that.
If necessary, FIFA and UEFA will present or invent new football competitions in order to increase their income, and they are not interested in what the footballers who are tired of too many games in the season think about it.
At the moment they had to change and adjust their plans because of Covid, but as soon as things get back to normal I expect them to restart all the existing competitions because they don’t want to give up the big revenue from such competitions.
It is no coincidence that in the last few years, the former presidents of UEFA and FIFA have ended up in prison for corruption.

It should be noted that a very small number of officials from FIFA and UEFA went to prison, for example, the corruption champion Zep Blatter has never been in prison at all. I am sure that if these organizations worked in the jurisdiction of a more or less principled country, for example, the United States, they would have been imprisoned with their full complement a dozen years ago.

We had a wonderful one month full of action and thrill. I really miss those evenings when we sit in front of the tv and watch our favorite teams performance.  Those were the memorable days where we got a lot of entertainment after a long duration of pandemic.

I suppose this is why the thread is still not closed, this is something that we needed, people want to go back to how things were and this amazing tournament was a way for a lot of people to forget about the reality a little bit and just enjoy the sport they love, however it is not as if we are going to run out of things to talk about, the olympic games are coming and the qualifiers for the next world cup are already taking place so we have a lot of sports to talk about.
