Everyone thinks France is the favorites and they will probably kill the games early but I think Turkey could force a draw if they play their card right today....
Any other surprises is not for me a big possibility other than Turkey.
Turkey 2-0 France until now... I think I am missing something over here! Other than that, no surprises. Russia had a good training today about how to score 4 to 5 goals in less than 16 minutes in each half... |

Most of the favorites won today. Only France didn't make it and now turkey is on the top of the group and France is placed second. There is still way to go but this group became interesting now.

The German team has won 2-0 against Belarus today. In my opinion, a well-deserved victory and a good game of the German team.
True, not everything is in order, and some things are certainly still worthy of improvement, in terms of cooperation and understanding with each player !
I was more expecting from Belarus , dont know why they hasnt fight more against the germans or was they scared about them.
The Germans are now on the second place in the table because Northern Ireland has one more game , Belarus is now on the last place and i guess there is no chance for them to qualify anymore.
The next games for the Germans are on Tuesday against Estland and should be also no problem for the German Team to solve that .
Nevertheless, it will be exciting to see who will make the first place in this group and qualify.

What did I tell you? Turkey was the only upset in the game. I always see EURO and World cup group games as a funny story where the giants are making it through easily except for the very strong teams like France who get a surprise loss early. But as KO stages come, the giants show off.
Now we just have to keep our eyes wide open for the British teams!

Yesterday I though France will win easily against Turkey but surprise surprise, France lost against them LOL I do not follow much the international teams but I thought they were the world champion and won it in a fashion. What happened on a sudden?

I picked the wrong underdog it seems (Estonia) and totally overlooked how a big team like France could underwhelm. Saw the HT stats and they had only 1 shot. Average rating of 3.2 for the 11 (Lloris did well only apparently).
@LFC I didn't see it live but I do recall he's been trying more shots on goal in his last few games in a Red shirt, so glad to see it pull off last night. Hope he carries that into next season! There is NO better left back than Robbo. Even if we take stats aside (assist, tackles, recovers, 1-on-1 defending) his pace, vision, tenacity. Remember how he slapped Messi on his head at Anfield? My favourite memory of the season hahaha.

I think that French team was too relaxed and inaccurate yesterday. World champions didn't expect so much pressure from Turkish players and as a result they lost. |

I will correct you, winners of Nations League will not qualify to EURO 2020. There will be playoffs in March 2020 for leagues A, B, C and D and winners of these playoffs will go to EURO 2020. I will back Portugal in this final. They are playing at home and most important factor that they have - Ronaldo. We already saw what he can do in semifinal. |

The French played terribly. The crowd sure helped the Turkish team but it was not only that. The difference in motivation between both teams was huge. It's like they didn't set their alarm clock for the game. They were just asleep the whole game. Only Lloris had a decent game. The rest of the team was invisible, especially the offense. They didn't have a single shot on target ! Maybe the French players were already on holidays, I don't know. |

Saw the second half of the 3rd placing game. Can't say it was one of the more memorable matches. Trent gave a good account of himself. Pickford had a slamming goal (he took 4th penalty) before saving the 5th one from Switzerland to win it. My parlay's already killed but I'm taking a single bet on Netherlands @3.3 or thereabouts. Portugal will rely on Ronaldo for sure. And this will be a bridge too far. |

I'm also backing the Netherlands to win the match, but I haven't placed any bet yet. I'll only be doing so on the live bets. Portugal's reliance on Ronaldo will be evident as usual, It will be incredible to see how Van Dijk will fare against him for those area/physical duels, It's definitely going to be a huge night for him. |

Pathetic play from my team (Greece) against Italy yesterday - yes, we have never been a great team but yesterday was terrible, plain and simple. Our coach needs to be kicked rather sooner than later. I now hope we will be able to win against Armenia in two days... if not, bye bye Euro and the next big tournament we will be missing.

Congratulations to Portugal as they secured the win over the Netherlands. It was a deserved victory for them they were the better team over both halves, Netherlands were only able to record just a shot on target all through the entire game.
