Maybe they could isolate the games somehow? I don't know how it could be done perfectly but if you do not have visitors on the arena you can basically make a closed doors Olympics if you are careful enough. How?

You basically get all of the athletes and all of the people who will work in japan a few weeks before, preferably a month before the games start, that way you put them in places they can live and you separate them all, you give them tests right there and the ones that turn out negative can go outside and train and talk with each other, if anyone turns out positive you send them back. That way by the time games start you will know every single person who works there and if they have corona or not, nobody is allowed to go outside or go inside, and you have a very clean Olympics.

It's really boring if we have to wait in 2020 for soccer.

It's not just soccer/football but more or less in every sports, it's the same. Not much sports lately. However I see some club friendly in Russia and Switzerland LOL

Since the EURO has been set up to be held in 2021 then the promo may not be valid anymore because it is still a long time to EURO 2021. lol

What about the Mondial?

It will be hard for team play the EURO in 2021, national tournaments like Serie A, etc AND 12 games for qualifications at Mondial

They will probably do something with the qualifiers - either reduce the number of games or ditch all the friendlies. Bottom line is, all these problems will be solvable.

Having EURO 2020 this summer is simply impossible so the only choice was to cancel and deal with the problems that will be occurring later.

A good solution can be to have Euro 2020 in the winter, will we have anyway the next Qatar mondial on winter too so...

Start of normal season, 2 months break for Euro and than second half of the season.

You have a huge problem with clubs there, they are the ones paying the players' wages and they want them fit and uninjured.
Cutting the season in half is something they strongly opposed in the past, they would for sure oppose it again.

Do you know any League going on anywhere in the world ? I know that most or almost every league is cancelled, but I had too much addiction to watch these matches and enjoy the time and also bet on them.  Really this coronavirus has made the life boring when it comes to the football matches.

Since events are changing rapidly, no one can be sure whether a game will be postponed or played at its scheduled. Until now AFAIK, in Europe there is only the Belarus one, in other places of the world there is Nicaragua, Singapore, Hong Kong and many Africans leagues.
Better to make a quick search on the net to find out the exact timing of each game but i guarantee you that you will hate football after watching 1-2 games. You cannot compare it to major European leagues at all...

I just went to livescore.com website and all matches are canceled or postponed around the world.
I think life is boring, and if you are conversant with the twitter apps, you will see peeps doing an imaginary live commentary of supposed live games.

We just have to stay healthy, wash our hands and be safe.

Delaying them as well is starting to become a reality, the committee will be meeting in order to discuss the delay - they will plan to postpone it for a whole year.

This one will really be hard to organize but it is a good call, considering the alternative (no fans, not all athletes participating etc.)

I think you should not discuss Olympics in this EURO thread. There is a separate Olympics 2020 Discussion Thread which you can express your feeling  about the postponed Olympics

EURO2020 PlayOffs are back and some interesting matches for today:

Georgia - Belarus
Bosnia&Herzegovina - Northern Ireland
Bulgaria - Hungary
Iceland - Romania
North Macedonia - Kosovo
Norway - Serbia
Scotland - Israel
Slovakia - Ireland

My pick for today is Norway because they have solid team with home advantage and Serbia is missing some key players for this match.
There is possibility of a draw, so you can take safer bet with draw-no-bet or asian handicap.
Watch out for match Scotland v Israel as several players are out because they tested positive for corona.

Bosnia moneyline at 1.70 is hella good, Bosnia -0.75 handicap at 1.9x is pretty damn good considering that Northern Ireland lost 1-5 last month against Norway in the Nations League, a weaker team than Bosnia, IMO

I am playing one big multi with 5x games on it today, have to use that sportsbet boost and insurance:
Bulgaria - Hungary - under 2.5
Iceland - Romania - under 2.5
Norway - Serbia - 1x
Scotland - Israel - both to score
Slovakia - Ireland - under 2.5

I chose a couple of under games since this is one game elimination qualifiers and stakes are very high and I am expecting quite defensive games. I took both to score on Scotland game since i am sure my man Zahavi will come once more for me and Israel. Norway and Haland should have an edge at home.

I saw this thread and and the number of responses it have got and was like wow! Has it really been here, then it downed on me that, I'm still new to the gambling discussion board and haven't dwelt here quite much and the games is seasonal.
My pick for the games today is;
