Congratulations to Portugal as they secured the win over the Netherlands. It was a deserved victory for them they were the better team over both halves, Netherlands were only able to record just a shot on target all through the entire game.

Yes indeed, a deserved winner - honestly I didnt expect that even though CR7 had a great record against the Dutch.

Win yes but in the end they are not automatically secured place in the Euro 2020. They change rules and this is becoming more and more politic then sport, and on this I dont mean just football in other sport seen this or similar decisions. With possible announcement that only rich clubs can play CL this is next catastrophic decision.

An hour away from games and I don't have very good selections on TV. Actually really want to watch Denmark Georgia as I've been following the latter in the group stages of Nations League. I suppose the pick of the night is Spain-Sweden. Can't really see an upset there. I've gone for a rather dull parlay at just 5/1 ++ for Bulgaria and Austria to win their games.

@slocker well, the nations league format does give a chance to guys like Georgia to somehow find a way through to Euro so that's good I guess. And the Georgians are dreaming too!

Yesterday I got impression that Netherlands players didn't recovered after semifinal match. They played semifinal match one day later than Portugal and they also had to play extra time. Portugal players was more fresh.
My bets for tonight games:
Poland win vs Israel @1.5, Slovenia win vs Latvia @1.5, Czech Republic win vs Montenegro @1.4, Ukraine vs Luxembourg - Ukraine over 2.5 @1.8, Serbia vs Lithuania - Serbia over 2.5 @1.8

When ever Portugal is in the news, you know who else gets some credit....the great Cristiano Ronaldo and his stats easily go up over his nemesis Messi who struggles to impress for his country but this is not a contest between the two as both are very good players.

Getting back to this game am starting to think Netherlands will not be getting back to those days they were a force to reckon with the show the put on,more effort is needed to remain competitive.
Who is going to win this one I think Belgium is my team

I was realy scared about that France has lost there Match , i never was expecting that because in the past they have played very well.
Especially from France about Turkey , i havnt seen the game myself and only readed some Articles and short Summary of the game,
and have to say there was not the France team in know and have seen in the past. And Turkey deserved it that they won this Match for sure.
Lets hope that tomorrow and in the coming Games all big Teams will be win there matches .
But guess some of the underdogs will fighting til the end and maybe we will see some astonishment from them.
Guess we can calculate with the Turkey Team for sure and there are a few others too they can do that.
Israel we can count too i guess, but we will see.

France was always shit in the qualifying games anyway. They either get eliminated very early in the tournament or barely survive the qualifications and win the tournament. Turkey on the other hand made a big surprise. They need to keep it going to show that it wasn't just a one time thing. Their coach is new but their players are old af. They may not be able to survive with this performance to the end.

But i havnt expected that they win about France , because in the past they not realy won about France !
It will be getting close in this Group and in a few other Groups too , there are so many Teams with nearly the same points and all.
There will be some surprises that we will see . Because some of the Teams that was not so good playing in the past have learned a lot the last 2 years.
They have some good players in there teams and they have learned about things tactics and interaction.
Some of them caught up with the big teams and should not be underestimated.
I do not want to list all of them, but I think we'll see one or more surprises for the Teams that who qualify.
And as i said the Turkey Team played well and they have some young players on there team too.

Portugal played very impressive, Ronaldo did not score in that match but statistically he appeared very good. Van Dijk and De Ligt as a defender also played so brilliantly that it was very difficult for Ronaldo to pass them.

So far looks like another tournament for the favorites. First night casualty was France to Turkey, but last night was only 1 upset which was Kosovo, but that was just a minor upset since Bulgaria aren't rated so highly. Kosovo people must be so happy for the away win.

Spain won but 2 penalties? Didn't watch so can't comment.

I think Kosovo should be very happy for a win away from home against a stronger adversary.Portugal after winning the Nations League have to recover and have to win all the remaining games in order for them to qualify to the EURO2020.

Yeah, of all the parlays I had to pick the one where an upset happened! Just noticed now watching the games (I used a channel where they cut to the highlights every time a goal was scored in other games) that they seem to be quite a few veteran keepers. The Bulgarian one who flapped at the equaliser from Kosovo (and flapped a half second late too!)... the Georgian guy too.

Nothing to set me on fire so far so I'm not even betting on tonight's games. Asian qualifiers ongoing today too;)

Turkey shocked the world beating the latest world cup champions and they are literally using a whole new lineup with a new manager at the helm and they won all their games so far (including France which was unexpected) but will this just go beyond their heads and lose to Iceland to finish their streak or will they beat Iceland and continue to kick ass?

I think there is a good chance of it happening with all the political stuff happened yesterday firing them up and I will bet on that easily.

It's a surprise for me that Nations League trophy doesn't guarantee a qualification for EURO-2020. Well, in this case, Portugal has to win all remaining games to be qualified.

My prediction for today is that Greece is going to win Armenia with an over 2.5 goals scored.
After the last match that they suffered a defeat against Italy they need to show that they just had a bad game and not that they are bad as a team.
I will go for Greece and a over 2.5 goals for them.

The first 45 minutes are over and Germany leads with 5 to 0, through the goals of İlkay Gündoğan, Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry and 2 times Marco Reus.
Of the Estonians, there is absolutely nothing to see and the best man in my opinion is the goalkeeper of Estonia.
The German team plays very disciplined and useful their chances, yet it looks as if it is a training game for the German national team.
I do not think that will change in the next 45 minutes and the Germans will score the one or more goal in the 2 halftime.
The Estonia players have far too much respect for the German team, and are only in their own half in it.
France lead 3 goals against Andorra and Iceland have 2 goals against Turkey.
Lets see how this all will be ends after the whole playtime.

As I expected, Turkey lost against Iceland. It was probably not Turkey being good against France. It was France being very bad. They simply didn't take Turkey seriously enough so they got pwned.

When Turkey plays against a team which takes it seriously, like Iceland, we saw their true potential tonight. It is not that bright. There were some absolute shit players on the Turkish side. If they can replace them with better players, they may have a chance.

You were quite good with predictions today. Too bad about Wales not scoring. I also had them on my ticket as x2. I really have to stop betting o football during summer months, with possible exception when big tournaments are played. This way I am just loosing money.

Croatia also lost today against Tunis, but this was just friendly match so no big deal.
