I think shitcoin in my MEW wallet is a trash because it can't be sold and can't be deleted. This coin is just an altcoin made without purpose so this altcoin will die

maybe the shitcoin you have up to now has only been a collection in your wallet because it has no value at all. You only need to release it until the token can enter the market and of course requires support from the project developer to re-promote the related token

I have nothing to do with those shitcoins except holding! Because I don't want to use extra gas fee to burn them! They are valueless, nothing in worth, even in decentralized exchange no one wants to buy them! So, better you hodl them and forget the fate!

I also experienced the same thing, when at that time the value of the token in my wallet was going up but I still saved it and for now only a token that lost its value was only a decoration in the wallet.

There is nothing you can do with those shitcoins and it doesn't cost any money or space to keep them so what is the harm. I have plenty of shitcoins in my wallet and i just leave them there. Just part of a collection to remind me to invest in good coins only!

Using shit coins as a reminder is a great idea. I also have a lot of coins on which I no longer pin any hopes, but it will be nice if in the future they will still be worth at least something.

I don't really think people that support crypto should refer to altcoins as shitcoins.

Some altcoin that you think shitcoin will sometimes surprise you. Because it can grow absurdly, dozens of times its original value, that's what I think a lot of us invest and hold altcoin that you call shitcoin.

What other choice do you have rather than to hold that shitcoin. I have so many of them that are still in my wallet because there is no to sell them to, and I think that's the main for still holding them.

Honestly i’m trying not to hold useless tokens at all. Shitcoins are such pain in the ass. Bitcoin is the main reason that i’m still interested with this market. I think alts are risky in a weird way and i actually don’t trust many of them. I only hold some coins from trustworthy projects, that’s all.

some people who are still holding shitcoin because they already bought the coin at high prices, and finally fall and become shitcoin, but some others intentionally invest in shitcoin and buy it at very cheap prices, hoping that the coin can rise again

I have a big amount of tokens which worth less than 1 dollar for all. Keep them in my wallet cause i would spend more ethereum fee to send them to another wallet that they worth. It makes no sense. And if one of them could recover i would be really happy, but im not waiting for this

What do you mean? I have some shitcoins and I don't have other options that hold it, because loosing 95% of initial value is something what makes me holder

Because I didn´t have an opportunity to sell it for good price. If you are in 90% loss, then you do not care 100% loss,  so you just hodl and maybe it recovers in the future.  Cool

it is because you can never predict the altcoin market. it is unpredictable and i will tell you why. check out these altcoins and how far they fair in the market: Quant, thoreCoin, crypto.com chain. most of these tokens started from 0.001 to grow to over a thousand usd now(thorecoin) to be precisely.
I repeat. i am holding altcoins because they are unpredictable.

I have many tokens from many dead air drops. They might be an eyesore, but it's good to have something. And who knows, maybe something will happen to the ones that are not completely dead.

Everything about shit coins ended in 2018 which was regarded as a bad year for cryptocurrency because it saw the most scam coins propagated in the crypto market. This year promotes only cryptocurrency projects with real use cases and product to promote adoption

For me, If it still in the market and exchange even it has minimum value, I don't think it is applicable to label it as "shitcoin".  The token that is on its lowest point right now can possibly rise up its value anytime due to the volatility of cryptocurrency. The reasons why people hodl their tokens are:

1. It has minimum value
2. It has potential to have higher value
3. They just want it as their souvenir

I do not see all coins as shit coins. Even if it us, I have seen a good number of them behave contrary to what they are being called. Also, if we are to judge properly and distinguish what shitcoins are, then all other coins aside bitcoin are shit coins.

I am one of the people who believes in the potential of a coin. I believe someday I will benefit from the coins that I hold. I just hope that there will be a miracle from the coin that I hold that someday the coins that I hold that are now still shitcoin can give me the advantage of being a potential coin. I am sure that the crypto currency market is full of possibilities. I believe that the impossible can be possible. I prefer to hold the coin because if I sell it then I will suffer a loss.
Believing is not right if there is no any potential for the last years on that project. I have seen so many potentially good projects but the chances are low to see any big upgrade on the shitcoin. There is no way to throw it away these shitcoins for me, to be fair.
