I have read so many times where people keep saying that "all time is good for investment".
Personally, I disagree with that statement, and I believe when you look at it from my prism you will also agree with me.
Take a look at this scenario and judge for yourself.
Mr March is a newbie in cryptosphere and he has $2000 he would want to invest in Cryptocurrency.
He also plan using the $2000 to sort out some financial needs in a months time.
After going through his friends suggestion regarding the coin he should invest on.....he went for April coin.
On checking the market price of April coin, it was discovered that the price is at it's all time high.
The coin was $3 before but $10 now.
Considering he only want to do a month investment.
Will it then be wise to ask him to buy the coin at the present price or wait for the price to fall ?
Do you still believe that all time is good for investment?

Of course investing at the appropriate time is better than just jumping into the market because the money is available. As far as cryptocurrency is concern, if you enter at ATH, you might hit a retracement that you might be surprise will change the direction of the market against you. Take for example with bitcoin, people bought at ATH in December 2017/early January 2018 with the expectation for further high highs but market crashed. Hence, for those people who invested then, it was a wrong timing and so, they are either holding with losses or have sold with outright loss.

What coin is it? Depending on what coin is that. Sometimes there's a pump in price when there is a new investor coming in, then after a few weeks or months, it will be a dump.

What you really are asking here is how to make quick profit with something that is highly volatile, and my answer would be to not invest in this way, especially if you are a beginner and you do not understand how the market works. It is not true that any time is good for investment, why would you invest in something which is reached a very high price? In the world of cryptocurrency that would mean you will probably lost your money (refers to bitcoin and top altcoins).

It is true that unlike the market it is a good time to invest if the user interest is for long term profiting. Even if the plan is for short term profiting the user should be knowledgeable in cryptocurrency trading. Only with that it is possible to get back a profit unlike the market through the volatility of the cryptocurrencies.

Because the quote "The Best Time To Invest Was Yesterday, The Second Best Time Is Today" is more specifically for long term investments, not short term investments. Of course this doesn't apply to one month long investments. When talking about long term though, it makes complete sense if you're planning on holding for a long long time, and of course if you're long term bullish.

And also, it doesn't apply to everything. It also depends on what coin or what investment in general that you're planning on putting your money in.

The scenario you just laid out is for short term outlook only. Of course the first lesson is invest what you can afford to lose so that you won't be bothered by the price fluctuations and definitely go for the long haul. Nothing beats a good long term holder specially in you wanted to enter the market specially Bitcoin. If you wanted to do short then go for altcoins, as @Lucius has pointed out and you can make a good profit if you catch those altcoins who is about to get pump.

A wise investor will always look for the best time to lay down his money...and this is where successful investors have really talent with as they can feel when is the best time to say YES and of course to say NO. I don't believe anytime is the best time as the marketplace can sometimes be unforgiving with many unplanned actions. In my view, education is always the best key here. Newbie investors should seek the right knowledge before jumping into anything...of course there can sometimes be success out of just luck but those are not guarantee can also happen to anybody out there.

It is not good to invest your all money in crypto. It is not good also invest your all money any other thing. People has to share their risk to different investment tools. For example. %30 for gold, %30 for crypto and %40 for exchange and stock. (It is optional, you can create your basket in different stakes)

Of course there is also this issue. Crypto investment involves risks in many areas. For example, someone with 10 BTCs in January 2018 can currently have 2 BTCs. Only the FIAT is not in terms of currency, but the value of BTC may be depreciated.

Listen mate, there is no time perfect in order to invest.
The only thing that works with investment amd trading is to have presence of mind.
Before investing in a particular coin just look to it's growth for one or two week. Then decide to invest on the coin according to your budget.
Remember you can face loss also. So be prepared for that accordingly.
If you want to face minimal loss also want to get minimum profit then i would suggest you to invest in stable coins as they are best for the mentioned work.

Yes! Anytime is ok to invest because they said investment is good for long term trend so whether you buy at a higher price or a cheaper one you will still earn profit because investment usually good for 1-3yrs time frame. Its good to have some knowledge about the market so you can find cheap coins with big potentials to make a new peak, just be ready for the risk.

The phrase remains true. The problem with your example is that he didn't invest wisely.
Same with people who invest in bitcoin when it was at ATH. They are screaming "why didn't I invest in bitcoin when it was at a lower value?!" yet when the price is low now we don't see: "I bought bitcoins now!".

There is no specific time for you to invest, you can do this anytime as long as you’re ready. The market is just here waiting for you to come in, in cryptomarket you have 24/7 time to think whether to invest or not. The price may be expensive for now but if you do buy more for sure it will be big in the future.

There is a reason why the big investors say that all time if good for an investment. First of all, I have never seen anybody making this statement with respect to an altcoin.
Everybody makes this statement only if the coin of investment is bitcoin. The reason behind it is that we, the bitcoiners, believe in it's technology and invest in it.
We believe that the investment will return us good profits because the technology behind bitcoin will last for a long time and hence bitcoin will stay for a long run.
This is the psychology behind the statement.
