The market is doing good this past few weeks with little significant rises. Though this may not be enough to be called bullish trend. This is just a good sign for the market but not a sign for bull run. We already experience almost everything here in cryptocurrency. A lot had been lost already compared to year 2017. seriously, i lost 2M of my doge recently now that i wanted to buy it back, the price has almost doubled.although i wanted things to get better in crypto, some portion in the back of my mind wanted tings to slow down until i can cope up.

Sorry for your lost but now bitcoin are in bullish momentum and some altcoin that pump up last week are now suffering from falling down if this rally continue we will quickly see a $5000  level.

Bitcoin has resuming its bullish trend and you can now check here to see what is happening https://coinmarketcap.com as at the time of making this post it is above $4750. The next resistance level is around $5000 and it is a lighter one!  My mind is now around $5850 major resistance level and we are began to see what I said before around two days ago when this thread was opened.  All the technical indicators are showing bullish signal and if I have the time I could have analyzed them and post my view on each of them here.  Be patience and keep holding as I am doing also and I strongly believe that the future holds something for us like some of us that become rich through holding in 2017.

Ok it looks like the momentum has gotten some steam again. It went as high as $5000 then settled around $4600 (last time I checked) then now going to $4800. I don't want to get excited, but it looks like there are FOMO getting in, those fresh blood that we are talking about all year has started to come back. Plus those speculators who are just in the sideline waiting, so let's wait further. If this is a bullish trend then good, specially for those HODL'ers.

Most of those who hold for some time are being paid off, as the market grows really decent, investors and traders who able to catch up from the cheap value are now enjoying and choosing between selling or holding for quite some time before selling, holding and hoping that this current rally will continue to bring good profits for their investment.

Most of those who hold for some time are being paid off, as the market grows really decent, investors and traders who able to catch up from the cheap value are now enjoying and choosing between selling or holding for quite some time before selling, holding and hoping that this current rally will continue to bring good profits for their investment.

That is a reward for been patience with the market.  Those that buy when bitcoin went down towards $3000 will also be in profits if they sold today.  One thing that is very sure is that you will only lose if you sell and if we can keep holding there is no way  market and price will not come to our purchasing prices.  We need patience and persistence to be able to make good money from the cryptocurrencies market.
I believe that bitcoin is heading towards $5850 and from there it is going to resume it strong bull run that will create another high.

And what we see today may well count in hindsight as a dead cat's bounce. Everyone loves dead cat's bounces. It usually takes a couple of days before it becomes clear whether these prices will find a strong support. But taking into account how quickly the price crashed the last time (and from lower highs at that), it doesn't feel like these prices are going to stay. A major correction may be imminent (if the Bitcoin car runs out of fuel)

It was really a year to determine who really stays in the Cryptocurrency atmosphere and we hope this bull last and gain it's peak well.

Most of us are holding altcoins than BTC, what the market has given us now is just  BTC increase.
When are we going to see out altcoins pump, seems like we need to see BTC to pump more before we will see our altcoins pump.
I hope it's possible to bring the price to $10,000 before the end of the quarter, so in the 2nd half of the year, it's going to be alts time to shine.

The price of altcoins only increases if Bitcoin's price is stable. In this time, the price of Top's coins is following Bitcoin and others are going in the opposite direction.

remember that we are still not crossing the EMA 200 so I still can't confirm that the bearish trend will end.

I'm still bearish now, but what I notice is there are still more long positions are open since the Bitcoin is oversold for short term. This is a positive sign, if we can  manage to stay above $4,000 for a week then we can retest the $6,000 resistance level and we should still manage and get more volume to break this. This is very good start of the month of April.

I think the Bitcoin market will be able to stay above $4000 and might test $5k again before coming to stabilize on $4800, from this $4800 is where we will start witnessing the struggle to cross over to $6000, it will really be a tight struggle between buy and sell then.

Just like FOMO vs FUD might be the major contestant because FOMO will make many people want to rush and buy bitcoin so they don’t end up regretting not buying, while FUD will in the other way make some people to Panic sell, it just depends on the trading volume between both that will determine which price will remain in the market by the end of this year.

The price of altcoins only increases if Bitcoin's price is stable. In this time, the price of Top's coins is following Bitcoin and others are going in the opposite direction.

Right now, altcoin is behind bitcoin and still increases. From what I see at Binance, Poloniex, and Bittrex, the altcoin are taking a good position of the price, and some of the altcoins can rise without a problem. But still, it's a good chance for the altcoin to adjust their price to the new price before bitcoin increase higher. Bitcoin price now is moving to $5000 again with the green candle still appear, and it's not impossible to reach a higher price later.

OP, you are full of hope but short on reality.  I had to take a look at preev, since I don't frequently check the price of bitcoin.  As I'm writing this, bitcoin is at $4083.  That's a fantastic price, and I'm very happy it finally broke $4k.  However, if you look at where it's been for the past year I don't think you can call this a bull market or even a bullish trend with any momentum behind it.  It seems quite possible that we're experiencing normal (and random) market fluctuations, with the probability still very high of dropping back to $3500 or lower.

What I'm saying is that OP is crying wolf, driven by emotion.  Hopefully he's not an active trader, else he's going to get pounded by the market.

What will you call the current trend, now that the market value of Bitcoin has crossed $5000 from what is was as at the time you made this post. The bullish trend has started and there is no going back below $3500 at least before end of this year in my opinion.

It seems that you have not visit the market in recent time and that was why you are still talking about $4200 resistance level. The market value of Bitcoin is now above $5000 although it has drop to $4,988.76 as at the time of this post.

Bitcoin is exchanging over $5000 but right time to call BULL is back? In my view, It's a good sign that Bitcoin perform actually well, yet far to go. We have to watch more the situation. However, If this positive environment goes on, bitcoin will go wild so resembles it's carrying altcoins up with it.

If Bitcoin can stabilize the price of $ 5,000, everything can happen better. Currently the market is very volatile and people's psychology has become better because of this. I think there will be more altcoin with new prices and the need to invest in new projects will increase further this year so be calm and consider carefully before deciding to sell or buy.

You could think of it as a bullish trend but i'm not going to bite that. I've seen too many bull traps to determine a real bull run from one that can't get sustained. It made a lot of noise yesterday when btc suddenly pumped to above 5k and crypto trading groups suddenly came alive.

For the general market, especially that of altcoins, their price increase may actually not be termed as bull run  like you said but from what I saw bitcoin did yesterday with its speed, we cannot deny the fact that we experienced a short and quick bull run  and I think Bitcoin market is already on full bull LANE  ready to gain more momentum to reach its ATH, just can’t say about other altcoins, I still don’t know if the bull run  of this year for bitcoin will have any positive effect on the altcoins market because as it is now, people may eventually end up changing their coins to Bitcoin in the main time to maximize its profit potential.
