Be aware of the new exchange's IEO!

So, IEO is the recent trending topic in the crypto industry! People are very excited about IEOs, because, after a long time, IEO investors made a huge profit from it! But there is a problem too. By seeing the big hype and success of Binance IEO, many new exchanges are coming with their IEO sale! Therefore many low-grade exchanges are bringing IEO sale either! Do you think all those IEOs are worthy to invest? Hell no! Don't fall in the scam, don't be greedy! Most of the new exchange, low exchanges offerings IEO is nothing but a pure scam, they failed to raise money from the ICO sale, so they come in IEO to scam people again who don't like to read and research!

I do agreed that not all IEO are good, just like what I saw from la token, there are many project who undergo to this exchange through IEO, and yet after the project was done, the token to this platform now has zero volume in the market and one of this example are VTM, Got, and last was Ideal. Therefore, IEO would only be good if the exchange are like Idax, Binance and more.

new exchange ieo shouldnt even be trusted by anyone else! even if people get so hyped about it! you should stop joining in an ieo to untrustable exchange or you can get ur fund loss or the coins went dropped to priceledd.

I can only hope that many investors could take the warning from this thread. Down the line, we could all see exchanges' performance with respect to IEO and for sure new and low-grade exchanges are no go area for IEO. They need to gain the people trust by offering good services before coming up with IEO launches.

Lots of complains flying in already by people who have participated in IEOs on some of the new exchanges notably Vindax. Vindax is notoriously known for a lot of ill practices including not sending out withdrawals as well as raising withdrawal limits once you have deposited. These practices will continue unless somehow regulations are put in place checkmated.

It's obvious that IEOs only do well in the big exchanges with very good reputation like Binance, Kucoin, OKEX, HUOBI, gate.io. New exchanges doing IEO most likely end up not even meeting softcap or probably tell lies about selling out to lure in investors, let's be careful. The Worst is that, some are outright scam which disappears after getting funds from investors.

I think we should be aware of all new exchanges without regarding the IEO in that exchanges.
New exchange will have to build user's trust from zero. If it has become trusted exchange, then they will have satisfying result in IEO launching.

Some of the new exchanges have hardly any accountability. The real risk is not for the IEO promoters, but for the investors. If they vanish with all the funding, along with the IEO promoters, then the users will be left in the lurch. Also, most of these exchanges don't have any auditing mechanism, and therefore we don't know whether the real time IEO subscription statistics which are displayed are accurate or not (just like what happened with CYBR IEO in Coineal).

Another risk factor comes from the site security. The smaller exchanges may not be having sufficient mechanism in place to prevent the wallet hacks. So if a hack occurs while an IEO is in progress, then both the investors and the IEO team will suffer losses. But that said, I can't blame people who continue to depend upon the smaller exchanges. It is not always possible for everyone to pay millions of USD as listing fees, which exchanges such as Huobi and Binance charge.

You have said it, I wonder who will just invest in any IEO having passed through the unfriendly activities in ICOs. The truth is, most exchanges will spring up now with the aim of offering IEOs, but it is neccessary we are careful so as to be on the safer side while securing our funds.

Joining the IEO of the first grade or tier one exchanges is quite safer than the IEOs hosted on the recently launched exchange platforms. With the tier one exchanges like Kucoin and Binance, the IEO or project must provide open source code, proof of documents and other checks which will grant the authenticity of the project. With this, investors are more unlikely to invest in fake IEO.

It is better to avoid IEO held by small exchangers because the available liquidity is also small. IEO or ICO is basically speculation and it's better to speculate in a large exchanger because with a large transaction volume, it gives an opportunity for price increases

Investors are already afraid losing money so instead of taking the risk participating with IEO which being held in a small exchange, they will choose to take it the hard way trying being lucky joining big exchange like binance, even the participation is not that easy it's far better to try your luck and get satisfied with the outcome than trying to be lucky with small exchange that  chance of being scam is very high.


Good to know that the percentage of those investors which is not careful and being victimized are smaller than to those who are aware with possible scam.

Most new exchange are scam exchange already and a new project that going to New exchange I just feel they are not serous. Personally I think is a no no. So is better to always same guard ones income or investment.

There should be some website that create list of new exchange offering IEO which is fishy enough and list of sites that are already experienced on starting an IEO and are trusthworty.
These new exchanges keep appearing like a mold on the surface of my bathroom they are just offering many and many baseless IEO with stupid idea for the sake of money. People should be more aware too.

That's how important research is when participating in a project, the emergence of new exchanges after the rise of previous cases does not rule out the possibility of new projects not being infected with scam cases. Talk about profits after a new exchange trend so that you follow all the projects. It is better to invest wisely.

Of course, investors are always advised to perform extensive researches on projects before joining because not all IEOs on the market are legit especially the ones hosted on the newly launched exchanges. I trust IEOs on big exchanges like Kucoin, Binance, however, I do perform the research.

I don't agree with you, the main difference between ICOs and IEOs listing bitcoin in exchange, if i find the new project run IEO this mean it is not a scam, but i understand this not guarantee  the project will success.
