If you are in South East Asian country, most likely cock fighting is legal specially in the Philippines but it is held in cock fighting arena. This is allowed by the government here though there are occasions where people in the villages held cockfighting without permits, that is the illegal one. I have personally witnessed and attended a legal tournament held in one of our main concert arena in the Philippines about cock fighting. The funny thing is, there is also a televised live channel in our local cable provider for cock fighting.
