Everything need kmowledge before thinking of being successful, because honestly trading is very hard but regardless of how it is knowledge is the key to be successful.
You maybe new here but I wouldn't know how long you are in Bitcoin investment, but I can tell you for free that your eyes on trading matters in this very early stage of your journey could be misleading and can make you miss focus on the actual thing. No doubt, trading is cool if only you know what you're doing, but even as that, you are still not guaranteed in anyway and trust me, you tend to lose more money than gain. So my friend, I will suggest you concentrate more on a long-term investment plan because that's where the real future benefits lyes.

Trading looks cool in videos, but nobody talks about how exhausting it is when the market moves against you. I think finding a middle groundholding the bulk of it long term and only playing around with a tiny amount is probably the sweetest spot for learning.

We are here to learn about long term investing not about trading, you are misleading the newbies if you present it like this then of course the newbies will face danger and panic and sell their holdings. So the newbies should never be misled. We are discussing in this topic about how to make long term investments.
So we are related to long term Bitcoin investment according to DCA method.

Before buying Bitcoin, everyone should at least understand the basics. In particular, how to deal with market volatility, the importance of self-custody to keep your coins safe, and why you should not invest money that you risk losing. Without this minimum foundation, people panic and make bad decisions when the market drops slightly.

So, the best strategy is to start investing small amounts of your disposable income according to your ability and continue the learning process at the same time. You don't need to know any rocket science to get started, but it is important to have 'enough' knowledge to make the right decisions during market ups and downs and to be confident in your investments.
You don't need to know much or have enough knowledge as you are proclaiming before starting your Bitcoin accumulation bro, because that may delay your Bitcoin accumulation, since everyone have a different speed in learning things. So as long as you can figure out your discretionary income and with your common sense, you can start right away, It's along the line of your accumulation that you start learning on it, and start making provisions for emergency and reserve funds so that you they can protect your bitcoin investment from any real life emergencies that may have warranted you to sell your investment prematurely.

Trading looks cool in videos, but nobody talks about how exhausting it is when the market moves against you. I think finding a middle groundholding the bulk of it long term and only playing around with a tiny amount is probably the sweetest spot for learning.
It's better to hold Bitcoin by converting your capital into Bitcoin. If you want to learn trading, it's better not to use the capital you're using for investing, but to use other capital specifically allocated for that purpose. That way, even if you don't find a profit from trading, you can still hope for a longer-term investment with a larger amount of capital or a gradual increase in capital that you use to buy Bitcoin weekly or monthly. But despite all that, I don't think trading is cool because when we see videos about trading, they're edited by editors who deliberately upload them to the public for public viewing, in order to attract more people to their previous activities.
Here isn’t a place to be talking about trading, you should be more careful how you’re dishing out words about how to trade and money meant for trading, however you should understand that this is a place to discuss about bitcoin investments and how to invest in bitcoin for a very long term, you earlier mentioned, investing in bitcoin, that is something you should focus more on, instead of advising investors and individuals here what money that is meant to be used to get involved with bitcoin trading or whatever that is, I would advice you to stay away from advising people about whatever is involved in trading, and if you don’t have interest in that, you should allow them to do their things, and focus on buying bitcoin for a long term.

No matter how you learn it, trading is a dump shit full of losses and there is nothing enticing in it. Just a little or partial hype in gains, and within few seconds or minutes, everything can just disappear and you return to zero. Trading shouldn't be encouraged, instead people should engage in Bitcoin investment where Bitcoin have proven a store of value.

Even though you do trading with little money which is not your main Capital as you mentioned, it is still your money and the loss is yours to bear. That why, we discuss Bitcoin investment here, how to buy and HODL for a long term investment plan, so that, even though Bitcoin is always fluctuating, if you are able to HODL for long period, let's say 4-10 years or above, then you might have been able to accumulate some chunk of Bitcoin that may yield something tangible as the value appreciates over the years

You are right there’s no best time ti buy you can literally start buying anytime all you need to start is some discretionary income and some basics knowledge (for those that are still new to bitcoin ). Is not a fixed thing you can Start right a way , but the best time is now you don’t have to over think it before starting , because many over think it and endup procrastinating because they will keep given themselves excuses why not to start yet and stuff .
Is it really necessary to wait till there is available discretionary funds before buying bitcoin? I think starting with discretionary funds is better and safer for those new to bitcoin investment but that is not the only criteria to start investing. Anyone who takes bitcoin as a priority would take into account means to invest periodically with long term in mind.

The basic criteria should be a having a sustainable job that could pay the bills and every other necessities. Bitcoin could be taken as secondary or primary depending on the individual in question but it should come as an important investment exercise when there is trust and understanding of the system it drives.
It is very necessary to wait till a person has their discretionary income figured out before they can start investing, you can have a job and still not be able to generate discretionary income from it so if you decide to tell yourself that as long as you have a job you can start buying bitcoin then you are basically saying to leave important bills and buy bitcoin because you have the money, this isn't bitcoin investment and you definitely won't be able to sustain it.
To be able to buy bitcoin continuously and hold for long without selling you need your discretionary income, to invest and to also set up your backup funds, the moment you decide you don't need your discretionary income to buy bitcoin then you are already deciding to not be a bitcoin investor.

If someone has a job or a source of income and yet they are unable to generate a discrestionary income this means that they are either lavishing the money on something else or they have expenses that is depriving them of coming up with a discrestionary income at the end of every week or month and this is quite understandable when you have an expenses that is... But when you are lavishing your money on something that is less important then you are already failing to build a better future. However, if expenses is much I would not advise someone to invest in Bitcoin because they will be inviting problem themselves.
Anyone spending lavishly has discretionary income, it's just that some people want lifestyles that they cannot sustain and that why they end up spending all of their discretionary income on things that that are falsely convinced are essential to them even when these things are not so by the time they've written all these into the list of their essentials needs they end up not having anything left to do anything else with so no bitcoin investment and also no backup funds, when the harshness of reality hits them then they will understand what's important and what isn't.

I don't think so, because the more aggressively an investor buys Bitcoin, the more they dedicate Bitcoin investment as their sole investment for their future or retirement.

If you look on social media, you'll see people selling their houses and land to buy Bitcoin. They're fully focused on holding Bitcoin, so they won't make a mistake, as holding for the long term is the best option in Bitcoin investment.

People fail because they worry, so don't worry about the fake news circulating on social media.

You’re spreading misinformation here based on assumption, not facts! You say investors that are fully focus on holding Bitcoin "won't make mistake". If that's true, then why experienced investors still tell folks to have emergency fund aside and avoid investing money they may need soon? Be real pls.
Using social media example still does not justify selling your house and land to buy BTC is wise or should be copied. Social media often highlight extreme cases, not sound investing
Also saying "people fail because they worry" is not realistic. Investors don't fail because they worry…. they often fail because they take unnecessary risks, overcommit financially or lack proper investment plan
Disciplined long term strategy can only work well when it is backed up by good risk management.

I frequently suggest that guys be as aggressive as they are able to be without overdoing it, so very many times, if guys are already being as aggressive as they can, then they don't have any extra room in order to be more aggressive.

Sure there might be some guys who are only modestly aggressive or even lightly aggressive, and so maybe they might be inspired to increase their level of aggressiveness since they still have some room within their budget (their discretionary funds) to be able to increase their aggressiveness.   So, surely, guys have to exercise their judgement in regards to how much room that they might have, yet at the same time, if they might increase their aggressiveness and then the BTC price continues to fall, then they might feel regret for having had increased their aggressiveness, when they were already largely in a sufficiently aggressive enough bitcoin accumulation posture.

I agree with this completely. This is just a simple terms that some folks need to understand digestivelly, investors can be aggressive as musch as they can, but they have to be careful,  the truths is if you are Investing already and you have get or reach you maximum level of comfortability, I don't think there's need to push more again, because overdoing it may leads one to a higher risks. However, there's no cause for alarm in pushing harder, but you must be pushing it to where you can handle exactly, people that overdoing mostly get burned.
Indeed aggressive has to be as much as possible. Just like doing all necessary calculations to realize discretionary funds an investor should also be able to calculate their aggressiveness in the first place and carry on more calculation on existing calculated aggressiveness to know the percentage increase in aggressiveness that will not affect their holding. It has to be a well calculated move from the beginning to avoid any form of regret. Aggressiveness should not be emotional to avoid any regrets.

@whiteblue, would you sell your house to buy Bitcoin? It's only possible if you have another house for accommodation but whereby you hsve just one house, can you? There are things you should say in a space like this cause it's misleading, that's why it's never good for newbies to get information about Bitcoin investment from social media platforms asides spaces like this.

Imagine a newbie coming across your statement then go ahead to sell their house to be aggressive cause they think doing that is right, Bitcoin investment should be done according to what you're financially capable of having as discretionary income and if your discretionary income isn't enough to be aggressive, you stick with what you have instead of selling valuables for Bitcoin.

The importance of aggressiveness in Bitcoin investment should not be overlooked, of course that is the fact but we should not make a big deal out of it, I support aggressiveness from time to time but no investor should ever make it look like a competition especially if one does not have what it takes to be aggressive.

Selling of properties to buy Bitcoin is a personal decision but those doing that should also understand that Bitcoin hodling is for a long term and whatever plans they have should be aligned with that concept, Bitcoin is a store of wealth and value, however, no one should do more than he can to invest in Bitcoin reason being that such decision might lead to the investors pulling out quick, as Bitcoin investors we should not risk more than our discreationary income.

The market may not give us a particular signal to serve as an entry point unless we make findings to discover such from the chart and invest, is best advice is to take the opportunity in bitcoin investment when the market falls and try to maintain holding until we make more profit before releasing to sell.

There are many opportunities in cryptocurrency and we also see how bitcoin has differentiated from some of these digital assets in many ways, this is why bitcoin must be your priority asset of investment when you want to make profit, you may just need to develop a particular strategy for it.

If you have been following this thread, you have discovered several ways you could invest at a desired market price and hold to make a profit, hence the essence of this thread title, which best defines the accurate solution for every interested investor to buy and hold, and we have to be up to the task in doing this if you want to maximize your opportunity in Bitcoin investment.

Taking a dip in the market is definitely a good decision and a wise investment decision, if one buys within their financial limits. You may have expressed the idea of short-term investment, but the first decision that every person who decides to buy Bitcoin should make is to have a long-term mindset. We can compare short-term investment to a type of gambling, because the chances of losing your money in the short term are much higher. Always develop a long-term investment mindset and hold your holdings for the long term.

We can all take advantage of a major market downturn to our advantage. However, before taking this opportunity, we need to make it clear that we are not just thinking about investing just because the price is falling, but at the same time we need to make sure that we are buying extra with money other than our emergency fund or any other fund. It is not logical to just wait for the price to fall or to over-monitor the market to take advantage of the price fall.

Long-term investment is a more rational strategy than focusing too much on short-term buying and selling expectations. If a long-term investor over-monitors the market, then at some point he may develop a trading mentality, especially in the case of new investors. So I do not think it is more important to buy during the downturn at the beginning. I think it is more realistic for new investors to have a long-term view and invest safely within their financial limits.

One of the investment rules to success is only invest with your discretionary income and you must first take care of your basic needs. Why will anyone sell his house that is part of his basic needs to invest into bitcoin. If it's your only house, you are not investing the right way because it's clear that you don't have a discretionary income.

If you sell your house, you will extend your financial stress because you have to rent a house that must be part of your basic needs. Properties that increases in value overtime shouldn't be sold to invest into bitcoin because it doesn't make any sense to me instead, properties that depreciates in value overtime and is a big liability can be sold to invest into bitcoin.

@whiteblue, would you sell your house to buy Bitcoin? It's only possible if you have another house for accommodation but whereby you hsave just one house, can you? There are things you should say in a space like this cause it's misleading, that's why it's never good for newbies to get information about Bitcoin investment from social media platforms asides spaces like this.

Selling a house because of bitcoin is a bad idea, in fact the person need to be check if he is still in his right mind because no one will do that, no one will try to sell their valuable items that they need or still important to them to buy bitcoin, if the house was sold where is the person is going to live? Even if he try to rent a house the person is going to spend a lot because to rent a house is too expensive unless the person don’t want a good house.

It is not a bad thing but to the extent of selling your house to buy bitcoin is very bad, before thinking of buying bitcoin you should be able to provide your need because if you can not provide your need and buy bitcoin you can not hold for long term. For me, anyone who can sell his valuable properties to buy bitcoin can never hold for a long term because he can also sell his coin at any time he wants to solve his problems.

To be more aggressive is what is making some of the investor giving up in the investment, just because they took a very wrong decision which they shouldn't have that thought at all. The past mistakes can still be corrected because there are some of people who have that opportunity at the past and honestly they are not with that kind of Bitcoin again so starting to clean up all the mistakes in the past will allow you to have bigger opportunity ahead. Bitcoin investment is actually  between 4 to 10 years when it comes to every investor, because anything below four years I consider them as trader, times why I don't bother to even discuss a long time investment with some of these people that are eager to accumulate Bitcoin with the advantage of dip are all traders.

If you sell your house or land with the belief that Bitcoin will go up a lot in the future, then I don't think it is a good plan. Rather, it can often be a cause of your mental stress. Bitcoin has given us freedom, so we can invest in it with our discretionary income. Why do you need to sell land or house? You should not forget that holding is one thing and holding it by weakening your life security is another. Bitcoin may be considered a strong asset in the long run, but in the short run you will have to face lower prices. So when you decide to invest in Bitcoin by selling land, land or family security assets, you will be stressed if the price goes down a little. Then even though you talk about holding for the long term, you may be forced to sell.

Selling of house or land to invest in Bitcoin will be a right idea if the house you are selling is not the one you are living in because some people may decide to have assets by buying the house or land. If yours is in that category of just having it as an investment you can sell it because this particular properties can also be kept for more than 10 years without touching and it will continue to add value especially the land. Selling this properties to make an investment in Bitcoin is actually okay, I don't see anything wrong with this because after all both are assets and you can decide to sell your physical asset to buy a digital asset.

I get your point clearly but that particular person have to make sure that he will be able to make this investment for more than 4 years, because that is when I will call it and Investment. He will not be stressful only if he decided to hold it for a very long term and this particular money did not come from anywhere but the physical assets which is sold, so to me the investment is okay.

Most trading videos are intentionally created to entice us to trade. Indeed, those who make trading videos never make videos when they experience losses; most of them make videos when they achieve significant profits, as their goal is to attract us they're essentially just looking for views.

Trading can be profitable depending on your knowledge and experience. If you don't have either, it's best to focus solely on investing in Bitcoin without allocating funds for trading. While allocating funds for both investing and trading is beneficial as profits from trading can later be reallocated to buy Bitcoin, if you don't fully understand trading, don't force it. Many people, with good intentions at the start of trading invest their trading profits in Bitcoin, but ultimately become so consumed by trading that they chase losses that they forget their primary goal of investing or even lose the capital to buy Bitcoin. Therefore, be wise in choosing your trading and investment budget.
Social media usually highlights wins not the losses behind them, if someone isn't ready for trading , sticking to longterm Bitcoin investing is often the more discipline method yes, a lot of folks see the highlights reels and think trading is very easy, but they rarely see the wrong days knowing one limits and having a clear plan makes a big difference. Trading without proper knowledge can quickly turn into emotional decisions making . But building a Bitcoin position consistently is a strategy many individuals underestimate because it isn't as exciting , but it can be far more sustainable.
Trading is presented in such a way on social media that it seems that anyone who comes here can always make a profit, but they never present the amount of risk involved in trading, so it only traps newbies in the trap of greed and destroys them. However, a person should understand the intricacies of trading and investing at their own risk, trading or investing can never be done based on emotions, and they cannot be confused with one another. Both involve risk, more or less, now it is up to you to understand which one you can handle yourself better with, instead of chasing quick profits, you have to think realistically, and where the possibility of success is high, you have to be careful about your financial capacity.

Of course, Bitcoin has become a better investment than buying land and gold etc. When buying Bitcoin by selling land, one thing we should always keep in mind is the place we are willing to sell the land of. For example, if our land is in the middle of a city or a big hospital etc. will be built around our land in the near future, selling all this land and buying Bitcoin will not be the right decision at all. If a person has land that is not currently being used for this purpose and will not increase in value even if held in the long term, selling such land and buying Bitcoin will be the right decision. But they have to find out and only then will it be the right decision to invest. However, devaluing Bitcoin will not be the right decision at all because Bitcoin has now entered the mainstream of the economy.

The idea of selling one's own living space to buy bitcoin makes no sense however way I look at it, starting to pay rent because you wanted to buy bitcoin isn't being smart, it's instead being desperate and desperation will never help a bitcoin investor, it simply just not how bitcoin works.

On the other hand if a person already settled in their own home was somehow left a house be a relative who probably just recently passed they can decide to either sell or rent it out, anything they get from there qualifies as discretionary income and can be used to buy bitcoin, using everything to buy bitcoin might not be smart also since not everyone can handle being that aggressive, some people only find out after they've made the mistake already.

Finding the right time to buy will only delay it, because I think when someone is familiar with Bitcoin, they already have at least a little understanding of it, so they can start right away, starting with an amount that fits their discretionary income, and even if it's small, it doesn't matter. After all, starting as soon as possible with a small amount is better than waiting for the right time, which is unknown when it will be. The phrase "the sooner the better" is true, although it depends on the concept. If the concept in Bitcoin and the situation we are ready to do it, then there is no reason to delay.

Person don't even need familiarity before they can start their ongoing investment. What person need is simply discretion income and the common sense to figure out the amount that they can use.I just consider it pointless and needless for person to want to understand bitcoin before they can buy, because when investing is a way that person can even know bitcoin very well because they are experiencing exactly what they are doing.

No need to delay and there isn't anything like there being a right time to buy, So guys should get the fuck started yeah as soon as they have discretionary income.

Yes, by having income that can be spent, someone can invest, besides that there is no need to understand about bitcoin completely because this will take a long time and make investments delayed by the fact that we can do it right then, after all, with our investment, we certainly understand a little bit about bitcoin and for further learning can be obtained as the investment is carried out.

I agree with you, starting immediately when you have disposable income is the right step instead of looking for the right time to buy. We can start with a small amount according to our financial capabilities or our own cash flow.

In my opinion, it is just as foolish to invest blindly without any idea, as it is wrong to postpone starting investing in the hope of knowing everything in one day. The most realistic approach is to maintain a balance.

You complicate things here firstly you said one don't need to know it all before getting started in buying bitcoin which i agreed with you and lastly you said one needs enough knowledge to get started, you actually don't need enough knowledge before you can get started and as long time bitcoin investor you don't also need to fear bitcoin volatility it's traders that actually panic and sell when the market is not going as they want. To get started with your bitcoin investment you only need common sense and discretionary income to get started with you can know other things as you are buying bitcoin.

What you’re proclaiming here is actually wrong and it’s not a practice that should be encouraged, it’s a very bad example of aggressiveness but you’re painting it as a good practice.

People selling their properties in order to buy bitcoin is being overly aggressive and this is not good at all, being focused on bitcoin as sole investment doesn’t mean you should abandon sound financial planning or neglect every other aspect of life and your investments, selling essential assets.

We often emphasise that people should invest with and within their discretionary income and even going aggressive shouldn’t be beyond discretionary.
