BTC is currently bullish. But no one should buy BTC simply because they believe, “The price is rising steadily and may rise further.” Don’t rush to buy. Remember, healthy price growth often comes with corrections along the way. Be patient, consider buying during dips, and HODL.

A long term bitcoin investor don’t need to wait until its dip before they can buy bitcoin as they can buy bitcoin at any market price and hold with just a discretionary income using the DCA strategy which will enable them to buy either weekly or monthly basis and most times depending on their income flows. No one knows when the dip will happen and even if it does happen what’s the possibility that it will dip to your desired level before you buy. So it’s better to use the DCA strategy to buy regularly at any market price and if the dip presents itself along the line while you’re ongoingly buying bitcoin you can seize the opportunity to buy even more at such a reduce price and improve your portfolio. Waiting for the dip before buying bitcoin could end in a regret because you might stand a chance of not buying a single bitcoin at the end of the day because bitcoin is really unpredictable due to its high volatility.

Well, considering the higher time frame bitcoin is still bearish because the all time high was $126k plus and bitcoin is barely $90k so nothing shows that bitcoin is bullish perhaps you are considering the lower time frame and what that means is that bitcoin is about to turn bullish not bullish yet and i will advise you not to anticipate on  the price too much before you will become discourage and you are already talking like a trader, why will someone who have not gotten enough bitcoin consider the dip? that is a wrong advise and if you think bitcoin will go below $70k anytime soon guess what, you might be wasting your time.

In my perspective The DCA includes disposable income and emergency savings. For me, the most important benefit of buying Bitcoins using a DCA approach is that you may gradually acquire Bitcoin with disposable income based on your funds, without having to worry about the current price exchange rate of Bitcoins.
Still, I would not classify emergency cash and investments in Bitcoin as the exact same thing. After covering critical expenses, a portion of the disposable income can be given to Bitcoin, and the remainder can be utilised to construct a backup plan. One of the most significant functions of a contingency or back fund was to ensure that if our revenue falls in the near future, we are not obliged to sell cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

A further requirement is that everybody have a fully prepared fund for emergencies before beginning Bitcoins; however, I do not believe this to be a rigorous regulation. A new trader can begin acquiring Bitcoin with a little amount of disposable income and gradually increase their reserve plan. Beginning small is not an issue, but collecting tiny sums of Bitcoin alongside disposable income based on cash flow and economic buffer is vital. The goal ought to be to accumulate Bitcoins over a lengthy period of time, such as four to ten years, and then progressively expand their Bitcoin (BTC) pile.

Yes, it is true that investing in the DCA method does not have to focus on the price of Bitcoin. However, it is important to note that what kind of fund is the fund you are allocating to run the DCA because when people invest in Bitcoin, they are talking about investing for the long term, especially the prerequisite for investing in the DCA method is long-term investment, so you need to use funds for investment that will not be a problem even if they have been inactive for a long time. And this type of fund is what we call a discretionary income fund.
When a person invests in Bitcoin from discretionary income and also creates an emergency fund to deal with emergencies, he can maintain his Bitcoin portfolio for a long time. At least until they are profitable. It may be two cycles, three cycles or even more cycles.

You are very correct, especially the part about knowing the source of the income before beginning DCA. One thing I think sometimes people over look is that consistency become much easier when the money being invested already has a clear aim if anyone is using
money meant for school fees, rent or an unexpected expenses even a little Bitcoin price drop can create pressure to sell.

Having an emergency fund changes the way people react to volatility.

Believing there will be dip any time soon is one mistake many investors makes especially now that Bitcoin has regained its sanity from other factors like political interference and ordinary assumptions have stopped influencing its bearish and bullish momentum the way it did when Donald Trump made mention of US strategic reserve plans. Instead of losing it momentum,  all we should be expecting now is an unimaginable transformation that may even catapult it to 150k to 200k dollars which we have not experience before.

You obviously sound like a trader, because I don’t see any reason why you should be telling people who are accumulating bitcoin to wait before buying bitcoin, waiting for what exactly, considering that you’re buying bitcoin for the long term you wouldn’t be interested in waiting for the dip and telling people to also wait for the dip before buying bitcoin, people who waits for the dip are mainly people who are buying for the short term profits which means you’re interested in quick profits, for your information bitcoin isn’t a get rich quick scheme investment, if Bitcoin is bullish doesn’t stop you from buying bitcoin, when you can be buying bitcoin through DCA on a regular basis, please don’t mislead other’s here, I will advice you to adopt buying bitcoin consistently while using the DCA, because you will just be missing out on good tremendous opportunities while waiting for your so called dip.

What a fuck! We shouldn't buy but rather wait and consider the Dip? Till when huuhh?? This is purely a traders mindset and a poor investment approach or advice. Investors don't wait for the Dip to come before they buy, nope. Infact, it is totally wrong to do so because waiting and not buying slows the movement and keeps your portfolio at a standstill.

Do you think time waits for anybody? What if the price keeps moving upwards, would you still want and never buy? How long will you wait? Anyways, anyone can do the fuck they want, but it's best you keep buying and stacking. Don't wait for any shit Dip. Buy and HODL!

Even though i am choosing to maintain a bullish position this period, i still think there needs to be a tad bit more of caution to it.
Bitcoin certainly could potentially reach $150k -$200k but that will be if big institutions and governments start to buy bitcoin heavily but still, nobody should assume or treat $150k -$200k as the most likely or default outcome just yet.

We need to see more evidence first that institutional/government demand is actually happening and that supportive policies will follow through.

Wrong advice I must say. Note that you don't buy because of the current price, you buy because of the FUTURE price and because you know that Bitcoin is a store of value.

If in the future Bitcoin hits $120k or $150k or $200k and even above, would you say that those investors who bought now at this current price of $86k+ are in loss or gains? Would you also say that they bought at the wrong time or that they were in such a rush to buy?
It seems to me that you are a trader who is just after short time gains that is why you prefer to only buy the Dip. Approaching Bitcoin with an investment mentality has always been the best. You don't need to panic. If you can figure out your discretionary income, and then you can buy in little fractions using the DCA strategy, and then HODL. It will surely be more beneficial than just trading and looking for shit gains.

Its indeed ridiculous seeing investors with such mindset,  i won't blame him because from his words its obvious he is a trading trying to convince potential investors to follow his footsteps when we alll know its the pathway to failure.  An investor with dreams never invests with hope of selling any time soon or even wait for dip before buying because every time is a perfect time of investing and waiting for the dip may risk our chances of success. This was the same advice that kept me at this stage till today,  assuming I listened to my friends advice to apply DCA method the way he did i won't have been miles away from financial stability as i am now.

The Bitcoin market is volatile in the short term. But no one can say exactly when the price will change. So there is no need to wait for the price to drop. If you have discretionary income available, then you should start DCA in Bitcoin.

If someone has a fund as a backup at this time, then there is no need to form a backup fund. But if there is no backup, then in addition to forming a backup fund, you can invest in Bitcoin regularly. A new investor or low coiner should continue to invest in Bitcoin regularly depending on his cashflow. An investor should not stop buying Bitcoin even in a bull market, and not to  suddenly become overaggressive in  bear market.

And if you buy Bitcoin regularly, if the price of Bitcoin is low, there is an opportunity to buy more Bitcoin at a lower price. So waiting for a dip completely illogical to me, which turns investing in Bitcoin into short term trading, increasing dependence on price. Price changes force the investor to change decisions repeatedly, which can cause losses instead of profits in the long run.

That is why it is necessary to continue buying Bitcoin consistently, those who buy Bitcoin following the DCA method will be identified as the only successful buyers and successful holders. Buying Bitcoin and adding it to the main holding in the future is the only good plan, so as the Bitcoin price increases, you must definitely hold Bitcoin for a long time with more confidence. Because holding Bitcoin will definitely make you financially successful in the future, it is better to invest in Bitcoin for a long time, not for all time.

A good  investor don’t even feel concern about how the market is going, their only concern is about how to accumulate as much as they can because they are using DCA strategy. When you begin to look at how the market moves before investing, then you are likewise going into trading or planning to invest for a short period of time.

So when investing we should prioritize using the DCA and also holding for a long period of time, because for every person who hold bitcoin for long period of time there is a tendency of getting a better return. Profit is not guaranteed in bitcoin, but hold for a long period of time.

Even though the price of Bitcoin is on the rise, for those who invest for the long term and use the DCA method for investing, the upward trend of the Bitcoin market does not prevent them from investing at all because they can invest from any market condition. If we call this current growth of Bitcoin an upward trend, then we will be wrong because if we imagine the highest price of Bitcoin from 126,000 dollars, the market is still in a good position for investment, so I think this upward trend is still suitable for investment.

A long-term investor moves forward according to his or her set plan without changing his or her decision based on every short-term price fluctuation. Regularly investing according to one's income and ability creates a chain of accumulating wealth over time. However, DCA does not eliminate the risk or volatility of Bitcoin. Bitcoin prices can often face major corrections. Even with DCA, you will not be immune to the effects of the decline. Rather than overthinking every market movement, it is more important to set your goals, time frame, and financial capacity. The important thing for a long-term investor is not to seek guaranteed profits but to create a realistic plan that he or she can follow for a long time even during market ups and downs.

For those who wish to hold for a long time, one of the things they should concentrate on is being consistent. This is exactly how it is supposed to be, and we must acknowledge that it is difficult, but if you are determined, that shouldn't be an issue because, in my opinion, after investing, we should do more than just buy and unwind; we should be motivated to buy more, and that is how serious people act. In addition to purchasing, patience is a factor because the goal is typically held for a long period, which is how it is supposed to be. so i feel like there is need to be committed if we really want to make profit.

Like I usually say “ the amount of bitcoin you are holding is what will determine your return “ . Firstly there’s no guarantee in bitcoin investment, and secondly DCA alone can not guarantee one any success . You can be using dca method and the same time be a low coiner . So actually boils down to how serous you are when come to your bitcoin accumulation, the amount of consistency and resources you put in as you accumulate. Just keep to the right principle and accumulate only with your discretionary income to avoid any form of being overly aggressive.

If an investor can only stick to DCA method to invest in bitcoin, there's nothing bad about it because it's the accumulation strategy that you are convenient in using that will determine your success in you bitcoin journey. Of course, consistent and persistent ongoingly buying bitcoin that is the motto of DCA regardless the amount you are using to but be it as low as $10 weekly. Anyone who isn't consistent and buy whenever, he likes when his discretionary income is available isn't active with his DCA.

Using only DCA can take a long time for one to reach his bitcoin target but it doesn't mean as long as you still reach your bitcoin target or close to it. Brand new investors shouldn't think of using buying the dip method at the beginning or lump sum because they haven't understand the market neither have they also understand their cash inflow properly. Even if you cannot be consistent with your DCA, just try buying when you can or in a whimpy way because a low coiner is still better than a no coiner in the future. However, it's better to buy regularly every weekly to boost up your bitcoin stash and enable reach your bitcoin portfolio faster.

In addition to what you have said,  our return doesn't just depend on the amount we are able to accumulate but also it depend on where the price or value of the asset we are accumulating will be in the future. Like you said there is nothing guarantee in our investment which means that Bitcoin can still be at discount price in the future or maybe not but if peradventure it is at discount price in the future the amount we accumulate won't mean much that is why I said it depends on where the value or price of the asset will be.

BTC is currently bullish. But no one should buy BTC simply because they believe, “The price is rising steadily and may rise further.” Don’t rush to buy. Remember, healthy price growth often comes with corrections along the way. Be patient, consider buying during dips, and HODL.

That is why it is necessary to continue buying Bitcoin consistently, those who buy Bitcoin following the DCA method will be identified as the only successful buyers and successful holders. Because holding Bitcoin will definitely make you financially successful in the future, it is better to invest in Bitcoin for a long time, not for all time.

Your emphasis are much on becoming successful through DCA method in bitcoin investment and that could be a convincing reason for new investors to invest in bitcoin and with the mindset of total assurance on success at the long run and that isn’t what we are building on this thread.
Bitcoin doesn’t guarantee success and profits isn’t guaranteed also so we shouldn’t give new members a convincing reason so they could end up coming into bitcoin with that reason and see otherwise instead of success. No guarantee which is why we invest with what we can afford to loss and our discretionary to shows that success is guaranteed.
Holding for a long term doesn’t mean we would make it out successfully but the possibilities of that happening is higher than short term holding but it isn’t guaranteed.
