Hotbit exchange is legit.

For now it looks like Hotbit exchange is legit and their volume is growing every day because they are new and they are offering new coins and also have bonuses when you buy them. Let's see if they will continue like this because we've seen this kind of websites before that have started well but unfortunately end up either being scam or declaring bankruptcy

My experience on hotbit isn't that good.
Cause hotbit website isn't easy friendly for me and the fee surprisingly higher than another exchanges.
Same case with yobit with their fee policy.
I won't use hotbit for usual trade except if token only list there (still better than ether or fork delta definitely)

That last statement can be the sort of reason why unknowledgeable traders will use this exchange, after receiving bounty rewards, hunters will find exchange that will allow them to trade and here it is, Hotbit caters lots of new coins and if you are one of those lucky hunters you'll be able to find the
tokens being traded inside, instead of waiting for much longer time inside fork or etherdelta, you can liquidate the coins without waiting the only thing is you need to pay much higher fee when withdrawing.

These are just fondamental instructions that every trader should know even before investing.. We keep hearing about desasters in exchangers and people's selling their fortune for some pennies.
Always be awake.. Never do these issues. Hotbit is trusted enough everybody knows that.

It is legit.

I never deleted it in my browser. I keep on looking at that exchange for I FXP which is listed with them
I see price fluctuates with just normal fluctuations unlike others which is being played by traders with a lot of low orders to keep the price go up.

I do think they are monitoring everything to prevent those kind of manipulation.

I had the experience of trading on Hotbit! The exchange is quite suitable. I have never had any problems with it! Withdrawing and depositing funds in the normal mode. Supports many currency pairs and constantly adds new ones. It also holds many contests where you can win different tokens.

I often use this hotbit exchange to trade and so far it has been satisfying there has never been a problem, hotbit is a large exchange of yobit or binance class, every day hotbit has a very high volume of 100 million dollars.

There are no real traders in Hotbit I think. Only bot trading and some bounty hunter there to sell the bounty tokens. Hotbit exchange is another fake volume exchange and it has many bad reviews already! I remember, a couple of months ago, the Bitdepository team made a clear statement against Hotbit and they asked Coinmarketcap to delist this shady exchange! I respect your words that it is legit, but sorry to say, I have lots of good options than Hotbit exchange! 

Almost all exchanges are being swarm by bot.  Though I have my personal experience in Hotbit and have no issue with them yet.  If you will ask me I'll give them a 5 star for the service so far but yet that is just me.  Different users have different use experience so I tried to look at the net of the possible complaints about the hotbit and i found these:

There are several negative threads and article about hotbit, all with regards to fake volume and I have not seen any single case about users account being freezed or locked to steal their money.

I sold a coin on the exchange some months back and I see that hotbit is still a good exchange when compared to exchanges that are known for their 90% fake trading volume. Hotbit team just need to work very hard so that they can compete with the top notch crypto exchanges like binance, huobi and okex.

Nothing from those presented above helped me to conclude why this exchange is legit, could you help me with some additional info? Perhaps something regarding national financial regulations?

I have sell some coins there before and it was really good.  I think it is one of the best exchange platforms if you really want to trade altcoins.  However,  I think there still need to do alot in terms of customers services and page loading.  If we really want to makes some good trade in altcoins i think there have good price.

Hotbit Exchange also makes their own coins, this usually happens when Exchange gets popular, because they want to have their own Bitcoin. In general, from the interface to the transaction volume it is quite good, but I don't often use HTB currency pairs because I don't really know that coin.

For trading the small marketcap altcoins HotBit is great  exchange, otherwise, I favour other exchanges for trading the crypto to fiat and vice versa.

Yeah Hotbit exchange is legit just that they have lots of shitcoins in their exchange,  I pretty like the volume of the exchange though they also have some undervvalue gem listed on their exchange

Hotbit overtime has been successful in it's dealings with customers. If has exchange has not had any incidence of scam, then i think there is almost nothing wrong with it.
I am a user of Hotbit. Apart from the bots that trade on the exchange, i enjoy my trading activities on it.
