Gambling with your Parents

It is truly impossible to gamble with my parents sitting next to me. Earlier I've been into gambling and at times I used to behave harsh with my parents without doing any work to them after losing on sports betting. Later they came to warn on this and further to that I stopped spending on gambling knowing it to them.

Personally, i wouldn't want to gamble with my parents becasue we aren't good when it come to play time. Since i was introduced into the world of gambling, my parents aren't aware of my involvement, so, gambling with them will cause me more injuries than i thought. Even, my parent never encourage gambling, as it's against our religion and custom.

in my hometown there is a unique habit where families play gambling every New Year's Eve gathering. playing with family or our parents consider it normal. even though actually gambling in my country is illegal. but because it has become a culture for every family it seems like the state is giving dispensation that night. gambling against family or parents in that night is just to have a fun, win or lose is not a problem. because we play for happiness.

I think it's worse to keep your children away from gambling, because sooner or later they will discover it by themselves and if they weren't taught how to deal with this activity, it can be much more dangerous.
Look how many young people discovered gambling recently and are having issues with addiction as they weren't guided properly by a tutor before.
As you had issues with your father addiction and know gambling risks, you won't be a bad example for your children, so you can teach them how to play in a smart way, for entertainment purposes and only during special events.

I didn't think that far to bet with my parents, because my parents didn't know that I like to play gambling because I respect them because they know gambling isn't good and if it's addicted it will be dangerous.
so as much as possible I keep it a secret so my parents don't know that I like to play gambling.

Do you know the meaning of respect?what stupidity that you are saying here?if you truly respect your parents you must not secretly gamble since you already that they don’t like that and they are prohibiting you from doing such,
So better think of respecting them by following their warnings or just keep your bad doing and turn them back

Haha ... that would be far better than playing gambling openly with parents, how sick the parents are when parents forbid it but still do it.
I am not an active gambling player and I only describe and appreciate what parents do not know will be much better than open and painful.

Different people will have different attitude so we can't simply say they will not support us for gambling activities but most of them won't.But millionaire parents might have complete different behaviour they will support their kids on whatever things they were doing.So its is in our hand to deice gambling with them or just take any other occasions to spend time with them.

Gambling with parents will not really bring any good because aside from the pressures you will gain from gambling,there are also high chances that you will get all lose in gambling at the end of the day.It' enough already to see one member of the family as a gambler but having involved the rest of the family team is never a good idea.

We know some of our parents aren't in gambling before or maybe hated gambling, so if we know already how they treated any gambling activities, it is good to be not with them when we gamble. This is the reason why I never play with them, better preferred to play against my friends or office mates.

 It also depends with other parenting styles, not all parents hated gambling because there's another type that they treated gambling as family bonding. One example to that is the card games, which they only used small amount of money used to bet. Nothing serious that matters, but only for fun games with small money involved. Sometimes it became that hated with other parents when their son or daughter became addicted to money betting which could demand money from them to maximum need.

Gambling with parents will not really bring any good because aside from the pressures you will gain from gambling,there are also high chances that you will get all lose in gambling at the end of the day.It' enough already to see one member of the family as a gambler but having involved the rest of the family team is never a good idea.

On the other hand, you get to gamble with more responsible people and having your parents with in this kind of hobby may avoid getting you too hooked. It's not as if all of you will have the same outlook towards gambling. One or both may stand up to say that's enough and that's a good way to control your gambling ways. Your parents will always look to what's better for you because that's what most parents do so for me, i think it's not a bad idea after all.

I misread the title, I though it was gambling "against" your parents. That would have been very funny.

I see other kids also being exposed in gambling. Many parents are allowing their kids watch them gamble and eventually learn the games. I don't know if that turned out good, maybe it's a case to case basis.

Gambling with your parents might be the unusual bonding of the family but I was able to experience this one before.

In my place, you can gamble on the wake which is normal and a form of sympathy. I was young that time and my dad was playing on the other table called "Mahjong", my Mom was playing "Bingo", and I'm playing card game (Tong-its) that time and it looks like my whole family are playing and aiming to win some money

When I grew up, gambling becomes our source of happiness but suddenly becomes our worst enemy because honestly my parents got separated because of gambling and until now they blame the addiction of my dad. I'm old enough now to realize that was a biggest mistake of my family, to let that addiction ruin our family. I promise to myself not to be like my dad, I will not expose my kids into gambling.

Will you do the same mistakes of my family or you will keep your kids or even yourself away from gambling?

Gambling for fun isn't a bad thing, but show to the kids how to gamble to make money, then there is a problem, at least gambling with money should be for people bigger than 18 or 21, and that's why casinos doest't allow kids.

If you are going to look at, it's more of a tradition. We also have similar family bonding or traditions similar to that during Christmas or New Year's eve. Just a simply bingo game wherein everyone is involved and it's all of fun during that holiday season.

But to totally play in like online or traditional casino, I don't know, I still have my feelings that it shouldn't be done with your parents.

Online or playing at the real life casino the feeling will be same while we play with our parents,they are going to irritate you for spending their money or your money.But on special moments like on Christmas eve or any wedding bonds then it will be totally different because our parents are not alone they might have their close friends which will change their attitude compared to you and them alone.

Everyone has their own views about this topic, but if we think deeply then may be it is not right to play gambling with parents. Actually the end of gambling is not good, but it is our sense, if we deal with gambling like a fun and play it with our family for only fun wise, then it is good.
But on the other hand, if our parents courage us to play gambling, then the way is not far when we become addicted and our hands will be empty.

yeah i also gamble with my mother and with my relatives too but just at home. I never experienced gambling with them in a casino and i don’t think it’s appropriate to gamble with my parents in such place. Although i did gamble in a casino with my cousins and siblings already.

Gambling on your house and on anywhere else is the same but gambling is not bad  . Gambling becomes bad if it will lead to other bad activities like stealing or robbery just because you want more cash ( easy cash ) to stay on the game   . I think almost all of us do already gamble with thier friends and family because its fun and we can learn from them or we can teach them .

In my own personal experience, playing gambling with my parents or other family members is really makes me comfortable because i don't get nervous when i am playing with them and to lose all of my money, even i get greedy in betting it won't bother me because all of my losses will still be benefited to me and family. I also have experienced playing gambling with my parents in bitcoin casino in games like baccarat, poker, and blackjack because those gambling games are the favorites of my family, that is why i enjoy more playing gambling when i play with my parents or other family members. Lastly, it strengthen the bonds of my family when we always play with each other because it gives us good entertainment and a good bonding.

I also have experience playing gambling games with my parents, actually there are the one's who taught me to play gambling games, since i started to become 18 years old because i am now legal to those things, that is why we play gambling together. The gambling games that i learned and played with my parents are poker, pusoy, blackjack and tongits. I think it is normal for us to play gambling games with each other because it is really entertaining. Honestly, i also have played in a gambling sites or bitcoin casino with my parents because it is also a good way to entertained ourselves that we are experiencing good winnings and a lot of excitement. It is really great to see that we are all having fun with our parents because it shows that we are really united and agree to each other like a true family.
