Lottery is also different from a football ora tennis because they are sports type and sports type gambling are more easier to predict than the random ones like lottery  .   Spider fights on the other hand is simmilar to sports type gambling because you can predict if what spider will win based on his appearance and movements  .

In the country which is not used spider fight as the gambling game, it is not funny because they are familiar with the games and they are interested in playing. But in the other countries, maybe that sounds funny and cannot accept because they think that gambling is used for sports, card, or lottery and that is not usual in that country. I think in the other country, there will be other gambling games which are too popular in our country.

Its possible that a spider fight is not acceptable to anyone because maybe they love insects and they protect the lives of animal but I can say that this is very common and usually almost all the children here knows how to play this game and they really let the money involve on the fight. I tried to play this before, its just a normal fight a very fast fight especially if the spider is hungry they will surely go for the fight.

Yes, maybe that is their reason not to accept animals to gamble, but in the Asian country, I think they use the animal to bets. Maybe it's like a horse racing or dog racing in the other country, but that is not familiar too in my country. But I don't try that game because in here, I don't know about that game and I guess that there is no game like that.

One time just out of curiosity I find it fun and very exciting the two spiders I've watched are very much equal in strength, you never know who's going to win because they look the same but this is not a good game because we need the spiders in the fields not to make it as our tool for betting, this is illegal.

Asian people always finds a way to earn money. Spider-fighting was just for young-ages before but when adults got involved they make it for enjoyable for themselves by betting their money in it. I don't know if the adults were also catching those spiders or the young ones are doing it for them.

This is quite accurate. We used to catch spiders at dusk with friends then let them fight the next day to see who has the best catch for bragging rights. I was actually surprised the first time I saw some adults playing and betting.

That’s true bro, the first time I ever heard of spider betting was in this forum and it was quiet surprising and at the same time funny to me, I had to take my time to read a lot about it and along the line I realized it’s a very entertaining and profitable game to some people in certain countries.

One thing I have learnt from this is we just learn to  appreciate other peoples games, tradition and culture, while reading and learning about spider game I got to realize that its one of the most interesting games ever and I am truly optimistic about playing this game someday.

Here in my place, the most common type of animal fight to bet is cock fight. Other types of animal fights occur on a rare number of occasions and are usually not for betting. I myself never see spider fight as a professional gambling tool.

I must say that your story is the most interesting one I’ve read on BF today and I am truly impressed. It has changed my perception of spider bets and giving me a better understanding of the game.

From what I have learnt, this is more of a fun game than money and I can only imagine the good times players had at that time. You see, in my younger years, children at my age go to mountainsides, mountain ridges and even the riversides just to caught themselves good spider they can use to fight. We don't bet money on it, the adult ones do. It sometimes took minutes since there are times that the spider ran from the end of the stick to the other end. Cockfight might be more popular for the adult that is but when you are a child that grew in our country, that is the first gambling fight you could know.
