Well, I did. And I'm certainly not new to cryptocurrencies.

Good news:
https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-106

The fact that the wallet does not sync without going to the forums and finding nodes to add is bad for new users. Just saying.

I agree, hope Stuhlman will be looking into this, set up a few hardcoded nodes in the next wallet update Smiley.

I agree too. We need to make this as attractive as possible for everyone, new users who haven't a clue what they're doing to experts.

As for the Titans, what is the PSP going to consist of? Still 3 Titans? All batch 1(300mh/s), any of batch 2(400+ mh/s) ?

Joseph, let's have some updates please.

Aren't you tired of asking same question over and over again? You know perfectly it's one Titan from first batch and other miners would be ordered after psp is running.

Sorry, no, I totally forgot. But thanks for the update Smiley

this scam is still going on???

Para when you started our first multipool, people came complaining about you scamming them out of their pay, I was the one to tell people not to rush and make accusations because I know things are not always easy, I also paid some so we do not have people all over the thread complaining. And had to pay also to get another MP made because you would not answer my PM's for over two weeks and yet you were posting on the cinni thread. Veritas paid you a very hefty bounty for the pool yet you decided to to take more from miners, and later you supposedly gave the pool to someone else without notice. Whatever your reasons were I did not go around saying your pools are scams and you are a scammer. What reason brings you back here to make these accusations is beyond me, if anyone in crypto kept his word so far it's me. We went through the whales abuse and deceit and we still going to the end, we did not quit and make another coin to scam people. Of all the coins that came to existence around the time CAIx is one of the very few that still exists and has something planned. Like I said before I am not going to start discussions with trolls just when our PSP about to start, but if you have any info on how CAIx is a scam please post it here, I would like to hear it, but throwing out accusations and leaving is is cowardly.

Can you elaborate more on the "whales abuse and deceit"? I'm not sure what you are referring to is public knowledge.

On one hand, I'm amazed we've not seen any small pre-PSP pumps yet, however, on the other, I suppose there's so many 'hot new coins' distracting everyone, they're not paying attention.

I've been slowly micro accumulating for months. It's kind of tedious having to buy such low volume, so to not affect the price, but long may that continue, because as soon as other people start accumulating for the inevitable PSP phase, the price will go very high very fast.

Take your time Joseph. Take your time.  Grin

Are the pool hashrates correct? The daily buy pressure right now is quite low considering how high the hash rates say they are.

Its true that hashrate are pretty high on the pool compare to the buy pressure :O

Yah...we need UTC-equivalent buying pressure here.  A lotta btc volume there recently; makes me think that is what would happen with CAIx when the Titan/PSP starts up.  Eventually, though, an actual USE for CAIx over time is what is needed for the coin to fly.

To me, it looks like Joseph has the first Titan. It explains the 300mh/s + Scrypt hashrate on the pool.

But he's not stupid and I know he's a trader. Therefore, I think he's using the BTC gained so far to set more buy orders. Notice how many have appeared between 2000~3000 sat the last few days.

When these buy orders meet the sells, we'll start to see some proper buy pressure.

This could be totally wrong, the pool is just massively over-reading and someone else has been setting all the new buys.

Hi guys, I have an issue that just popped up, and now I'm unable to start the v1.1.1 wallet as of a couple of hours ago.  Was working fine before that.  Now, when I start it, I get a MinGW runtime assertion failed kernel.ccp line 369 having to do with GetBlockHash() and hashGenesisBlock.  This happens during loading block index.  If I retry/ignore I get Error loading blkindex.dat and the program closes.  Any ideas?

Hi vvvortex, try deleting everything in blockchain folder EXCEPT for your wallet.dat file and let the wallet sync again.
That should resolve the issue.

Do you have any idea when the error started? Did u do anything specific?

Nope, just noticed that it wasn't running in my tray anymore (btc and others were still running.  No intermittent restart or power flicker, etc.  When I tried starting it up again, I got those errors.  It's resolved now, with doing as you suggested, although it's still syncing, and I don't seem to have lost anything.  I DO do regular backups of my wallet so everythings safe now.

The only thing I can figure out is some random corruption happened during the course of doing other things with my computer.  Hell, it's all solid state drives, so maybe a stray cosmic ray or neutrino interacted and flipped a bit?  Maybe a quantum-state thingie got untangled?  Smiley

It's all good now.  Thanks for the quick reply!
